Would it be possible to disable the /me function in Location chats so people don't accidently use it?

Yeah I think I'd rather encourage spontineaity and risk there possibly being cheating. I'd rather see people jump into random live chat roleplays, than worry about people posting from G-Docs and let that throw a spanner in the works. Even if we do get people cheating the system it would still be worth it for all of the other live roleplays it encourages.

So I think I'll bump the RPP rewards for live chat posts by 50%. I have absolutely nothing about Google Documents roleplays, but my aim has been to encourage people to try out live roleplay, as I believe it to be something that could really bring the roleplay scene to life around here.

Possibly. I'd have to look into how, as we have 4 chat rooms running off the same code, so it'd have to be something that only gets changed for the locational chats.

This conversation on planned rp vs Spontaneous rp had me laughing. If they want to do that much work to cheat ... and it is a lot of work just for a few extra rp pts ... Who has that amount of time ?

Looks like there's a slew of these in the city streets at the moment. A couple of suggestions, David --

1. looks like the bolded names aren't working. XD

2. Is it possible to have them posted to their own forum, maybe? Or is that asking too much?

3. Is there a way to say in the transcript (even down the bottom with the info about who posted and how much they got) to say where the RP took place?

Spontaneous live RP is a fantastic notion and one I'd love to get on board with. I think the main issue is there are so many places to jump into live chats on grid -- every single building and hunting area -- people aren't going to know there's someone there. Is there a way to maybe somewhere get a coded area maybe in the drop down menu to list where any live RPs are happening in public locations? So people can move their characters to it to drop in? If that makes sense?

1. Fixed.

2. I don't think we need a seperate board for that.

3. Yep good idea. I'll do this now.

4. Hmm yeah also a great idea! I'm not sure about the drop-down menu. I'm trying to think where else it could be listed. Somewhere that people will see it quite a lot.

An RP 'map' link next to the 'roleplay here' button in the speech box?

So Kaelyn and Jesse Fforde just did an RP in Foucault Castle East. I submitted the RP and got a pop up that said "Requested topic does not exist."

We got the RPP and an alert in the chat to say it had been submitted, but it's not showing up in the City Streets.

Rather than start a new thread...

If you're in a location chat and start a RP with someone in a PM, should you be able to post it (the PM Role-play) to the forum using the button from a mechanics view?

I know the button appears but it doesn't seem to work to post the PM, so trying to figure if that's a bug or by design.
