When their clothes were off, everything was fair game to Windsor. No piece of flesh was off limits, should Archie have changed his mind at the last minute for whatever reason. Not that it seemed like the guy was going anywhere, but if he tried, he would be met with a mild form of protest in a variety of ways by Windsor. Like with his articles, there was nothing disappointing about Archie, and everything he did, just as the guy wrote about a restaurant or a plate of food, was provoking all the senses within Windsor.
They were on the bed in no time, laced up and entwined in the other in a multitude of ways. There wasn't an ounce of Windsor's flesh that didn't try and graze Archie's in some form or another. While Archie might have put Windsor on the bed, there was an equal amount of leading and following on both their parts. As well as giving and receiving. It was clear neither male was without some form of expertise in the bedroom.
Time was forgotten about while in the company of Archie, and when they were finished, Windsor came to rest his back on the headboard of his bed. He glanced over to Archie, cleared his throat and then laughed a little. “Brandy, Windsor or Rum?” It was the only alcohol he had in the place, outside of the bottle of Windsor he had taken from the bar at work. He wasn't a big drinker, and mostly those two types of booze were in his apartment for cooking purposes. He slowly pushed his way out of the larger than life bed, and padded to the open concept bathroom where he grabbed a washcloth and dried off in a sense. Windsor washed his hands, then moved back inside the bedroom, eyes on Archie as he waited for the guy's drink order. When he got it, he moved to the kitchen, displaying what he had to the world given his windows had not a single shred of drapery on them. He poured himself a brandy, then poured Archie's request, and brought two crystal tumblers back into the bedroom. He offered Archie his glass, before Windsor flopped down on the bed next to him, then clanked their glasses together a little. “How long are you in town for?” There was no hint of need in Windsor's voice. It was just a question that might open up another possibility like tonight. If not, then he would probably settle for another taste before Archie went on his way.

“Longer than I was the last time I stopped in.”
The satisfaction of his well used muscles and warm exposed skin fed his mind with random replays of why some were a little more exhausted than the others. His eyes followed the male on the move while the scent of them combined erupted with the subtle shift of his body to sit upright and accept the drink offered. The kiss of the same head board that supported Windsor in his earlier chuckle found him in the same way. Was it possible that the properties within the material it was constructed of could be capable of transference of such?
“I am going to be here indefinitely. It seems I have been given the responsibility of bringing life to something that all but died in the hands of a less than attentive or creative relative.”
An inviting focus of his eyes landed on the one who returned to the bed and the welcoming body heat lingering in the tangled sheets. A clink of glasses prompted a toast to the scene that would warrant an encore. The flavor found his mouth and was rich over his velvet bed of his salty-sweet laced tongue. Windsor washing down the indulgent and memorable taste of Windsor was certainly new to him. Typical for the connoisseur of international flavors that he was had him savoring the aftertaste that was picked up by the trained taste buds behind his lips.
“Mmm…” The universal sound of appreciation said it was catalogued with appreciation. “Idlewild.” The name of the place rolled from his lips and was chased by a subtle sweep of the tip of his tongue over the surface. “Ever hear of it?”
His shoulders rolled and flattened to the surface behind him without appearing any less comfortable than he was moments before flat on his back beneath his host. The pull of his knee brought the surface of his heel to glide over the covered mattress. The boney cap offered a place of rest for the drink still in his hand. After another sip and swallow he used it for the intended purpose.
“I haven’t seen it yet.” It was difficult to ignore the mouth that had exceeded any previous expectation. But he managed. Sticking to the current conversation he dismissed the temptations that were mere inches from where he sat comfortably. “Feeling adventureous enough to check out what is said to be a diamond in the rough?”

Longer was good. Not that Windsor was the clingy needy type. But longer meant some good possibilities between he and Archie. Indefinitely wasn't what he was expecting as an answer, but the rest had his attention. New prospects on many fronts was a good thing for the guy and Windsor was happy for the guy.
An arm draped around Archie's shoulders as Windsor got comfortable and he nodded after taking a drink. "Sure. Who hasn't? I've heard some good and some not so good. Probably more of the last bit than the first. I heard they made a delicious Caprese Chicken roll up, but couldn't do anything with beef. And that their menu was huge. Probably spending more money buying things than making any money. Hand over foot." Windsor commented with a shake of his head.
Windsor watched Archie more or less make himself at home on Windsor's bed, not that he minded. Windsor set his drink down and joined him, looking up at the neutral toned ceiling. "Fresh herbs and produce isn't cheap, and if the menu is as big as I heard it was, they had a little bit of everything to appeal to anyone, but that meant ordering some of this and that and that. Instead of ordering a lot of parsley, or Thyme and skipping out on the dill."
At the confession of not being there yet, Windsor propped himself up on an elbow and let his eyes roam Archie's physique. "That makes two of us. I don't get a lot of time off and I'm particular on what I eat." Windsor grinned a little before shrugging his one shoulder. At the invitation, he sat up and slowly nodded. "Sure. I could size down the menu for it, if you'd like." He could do that for a friend and he hoped that's what they would be by the time the night was finished.

Archie’s lips were parted by the slip of his tongue searching for the remnants of whiskey on their surface. Instead he found the man whom he shared the recent history of well earned bedhead and messed up sheets rising up and sitting to attention at the prospect of business. It was hardly a mood killer in Archie’s case. Especially with the few bits of information that Windsor was able to offer up at the mention of Idlewild. The prospect of a chicken roll up was not earth shattering to his general preference for something a little more exciting than chicken being wrapped up and hidden in the mix of everything else. He didn’t hear the mention of chicken nuggets and curly fries so there was already more hope than he had to bank before Windsor offered up his feed back.
“Yeah, I was warned that the menu was too complicated and needed to be wiped clean and just start over.” His eyes found the mouth that grinned not that long ago and matched it with his own. The glass found his mouth and interrupted his expression while the liquor within caressed the surface of his waiting tongue. “I am willing to pay more for quality produce, herbs and general ingredients.” He perked up a bit with the mention of the suggested improvements to the menu would have extra costs. “I had time to look at the business reports on it and you can tell that there could be a lot more going on with it than the way it has been floating with the doors barely affordable to keep open.”
Archie turned to brush his cheek over the arm draped around his shoulders. The silent question of “Business or pleasure?” once again came to mind. His hair settled on Windsor's arm in the wake of the broken contact. The hidden tones of auburn took on a vibrance he hadn’t noticed until it was resting on the man’s skin. He allowed his leg to slide that was closest to Windsor’s bare hip. The lick of the fine hairs that were generously spread over the man's skin woke the surface of his own.
“How much do you like where you currently hold reign in the kitchen?”
His eyes fixed on Windsor’s while asking what could potentially and quite literally be a million dollar question. If they did things right, pooled their creativity and made something out of what was proving to have the shell of possibility a million and then some was within reach. It wouldn’t be easy but anyone in the business of international fine dining and successful restaurant operation in general knew the golden ticket to getting it off the ground was a world class head chef. Archie could still taste the proof Windsor left behind that he was looking at the man who could do the job. In fact he was counting on it in more ways than just one.
“I can offer one hell of a benefits package.”
Archie winked and set down his glass. He was fully prepared to put both his hands into what he was suggesting and that he did. One hand curled at Windsor's hip and applied enough pressure and guidance to ease the man down and into him as he leaned over. Resting on an elbow while the other drifted south he leaned in and nipped the swell of flesh that was considered a bottom lip.
“You can be a king. Take the crown.” A cascade of dark warm curls spilled over the shoulders beneath him while his leg drifted between the two that were not his own.

A lot of what Archie was saying was good to hear. His business would be successful if he kept things fresh and local. Add in the idea of keeping the menu simple with a few chicken, beef, fish and exotic choices and he would rise to the top in no time. Windsor had no doubt about that. If it were anyone else, Windsor might be surprised, but Archie had a lot of experience under his belt-not necessarily with running a business, but being familiar with the ins and outs of running a good, top notch kitchen that made profit and delicious food at the same time.
There was contact of Archie's cheek against Windsor's bare arm and he felt goosebumps freckle over his skin. Heavy eyelids glanced down at the pile of curls that graced Archie's head. It reminded him of something wild and almost untamed, the way they laid on his hair. Windsor grinned at that, before he looked up at the ceiling. "I don't. But, it pays the bills." Windsor admitted with a shrug of his shoulders, not yet connecting the dots on where this conversation might be going. "The menu never changes, there's no room for suggestions. Could make anything with my eyes closed in that place. But, money makes the world go round." He didn't want to seem like he was bitching about his place of work too much, or that he was ungrateful for even having a job in his field, so Windsor curbed some of his real thoughts.
When the promise of a benefits package was revealed, Windsor finally put it all together. Archie was offering him a job and then some. His eyes glinted mischievously as a small, subtle smirk etched on the corner of his lips. Both opportunities were alluring and promising in a lot of ways. "Yeah? Maybe we can talk some numbers and finer details later." Windsor suggested before he felt the pull of his bottom lip from Archie.
King. Crown. His own space where he decided the menu. Windsor didn't have to worry about some family member not liking this or that, some person who had him by the balls more times than he'd like. It would be his kitchen. From the people in it doing whatever job he hired them for, to the food he put on the menu, how that food was cooked, to the pots and pans he used day and night. Everything Archie was saying and doing was too good to pass up, but some things could be put on the back burner in Windsor's mind. Like potential career talk.
The leg between both his applied enough pressure to agree with Windsor's thoughts. The hint of taking the crown and being king didn't get wasted. Two hands found a naked shoulder, then slid down Archie's upper arms, before Windsor yanked Archie into his body more. Business could wait, pleasure was always on the menu in Windsor's mind, especially with the delectable morsel in front of him. Their weight shifted on the bed as Windsor tugged Archie between his legs, keeping their lips locked, savoring the taste of the drink Archie had, mixed with the dinner Windsor had made him a handful of hours ago. His hands kept sliding down Archie's arms, to his back, where they came to rest on two golden, firm cheeks that were given a rough squeeze of appreciation, before his hands wandered over parts of Archie in an appreciative fashion, before he took the suggestion of claiming a crown and being king to heart.
