Threads there are supposed to be open, anyone can technically join anything. Though understand it can be difficult jumping in, but Aaron one they are about to rock up at a public area where others might too be hunting or have been brought there by dreams.

Judah's they are the Church currently, also public place, but yeah I understand less characters might have the inclination to go there without a specific reason or looking for someone.

Not for a side story. A side story thread may be open or not, depending on the prompt given by the storyteller, as per:

Just clearing that up so it doesn't spawn a discussion, and to establish precedent.

For The Culling, threads are assumed closed unless stated otherwise marked (in the title or in the thread itself), to preserve any plots that wouldn't necessarily work in an open format. I might do an entirely open side story in the future though.
