Mirella tried to bite back the comment she was itching to make at Hannah's admittance of preferring wine of any kind as long as it wasn't dry. Oh, she wanted to make several different comments, but she held them back, taking a sip from her own wineglass and looking over at her again.

Instead, she stated, "We've got red," plain and simple. Straightforward and true. Oh, she could be mouthy if she wanted, but she was trying to be on her best behavior. Trying to make friends.

Maybe that text was affecting her a bit more than she was trying to let on.

Judah seemed amused by Hannah's request, glancing to Charlie with his brows raised as if watching for reaction. Hannah had seemed to light up at the prospect of activity, but he wasn't entirely sure he was dressed for climbing walls in his outfit. In fact, Judah rarely dressed for such activities on a whim, he had set times and days he often went to workout or if he was going for some adventure with Lou or Austin he'd dress accordingly.

Mirella's voice joining the conversation surprised him, she had a look on her face that spoke of distraction and disinterest, that she wasn't particularly intending to try and be social or get to know others, so he felt oddly proud when she at least spoke. Well, it was a start. Jude sensed the mood needing some lifting, and thus he put on his best 1000 watt smile, gesturing to the bottles. "It is a lovely drop, our Charlie picked out, she wouldn't steer you wrong. It's not overly dry, but not sweet. I like my reds smooth, flavoursome and this is pretty on point for an easy to drink conversation starter. You're welcome to join us in sharing a bottle or two."

Keen as she was on practicality, the bartender nearly suggested Hannah try the bottle she’d just opened for Judah and company. However, in the absence of her immediate response, the judicious brunette—Mirella, Charlie repeated mentally—pointed out a very obvious fact pertaining to their drinks situation, thus potentially setting in motion the most logical course of action. When Judah made the overture, the blonde turned away to retrieve another tall wine glass from behind the bar.

And yet, while her job would be simplified by merely adding another glass to the established party, she was here to serve and sell alcohol. Judah gave a raving review of the Renteria, which was pleasing to hear, though Charlie felt it necessary to expose the wide array of choice Hannah truly had.

“The Renteria they’re drinking won the silver medal, though if you want something sweeter from the same house, the Pinot Noir from that same year earned a gold medal. There are otherwise the Hagafen wines, also from California. I have a young Malbec that’s well rounded but it is drier than their Merlot. Our whites are primary Chardonnays and altogether drier. I personally favour this cabernet from the private collection. Alternatively, Hagafen merlot is within the same price range — just a smidgen drier.”

The woman, introduced as Mirella said they had wine that was red. Well, not all reds were the same, not by a long shot. Hannah ignored the quip by the woman, because if she couldn't offer anything helpful or productive, there was really no need to acknowledge the mention of the color of wine. Judah went on to explain his thoughts on the wine they were currently drinking, giving Hannah something to mull over as she nodded her head, indicating that she was not only paying attention to what he said, but was absorbing it too.

Charlie, the bar tender offered even further information about the wines they carried, Hannah smiling at the information provided before her selection was made. "I'll take a glass of the noir." She said, just loud enough to be heard over the rest of the noises in the main area of the bar. Before Charlie could escape too far, Hannah made another inquiry, this time about the establishment. "So you must know about the gym or...whatever it is, since you work here? Is there a membership fee? Or is it pay by trial concept?" Hannah's attention moved from Charlie to possible doors that may, or may not lead her to where the rock climbing wall and other things could be located.
