< Adelita > When they were in the elevator, Adelita pushed the button and began to talk. Her tone was soft, and she even turned to face him, shoulder on a wall of the elevator, looking away from the camera so no one could try and read her lips either. “I left her at a club named...Mandala.” Lita sighed and shook her head. “She was with three men-and then there was me and some other woman that didn’t seem to be comfortable. Or know what she was doing. But when I left that woman was still there, but Wynifred was having most the attention when I left.” She crossed her arms and leaned against the back wall of the elevator.
“I didn’t know she hadn’t come back. I kept texting her and then she called me and I called her, only to find out it wasn’t her.” Adelita’s small frown returned again as the door pinged open to the floor her hotel room was on. “It’s to the right.” Adelita said, changing the subject. It was different to talk about it in his presence, alone. But in the middle of a hallways? Not a chance.” Adelita pulled the key card out of her purse and headed down the hall and to her room. Once there, the card was slipped in the lock and Lita opened the door. “Put your stuff wherever. Mi casa, es su casa.” She extended both her arms indicating he should make himself at home before Lita entered and plopped down near the head of her bed.

His chest rumbled in a laugh, what would be good in asking her if she wanted something serious. He turned his head to the side to fully look at her with a curious stare. “Well then, if I hadn't asked I don’t get. Do you want to be tied down?” It wasn’t a kinky joke. If was pure sentimental, as always. Such a sentimental guy. His ocean blue eyes turned on the woman, gauging her reaction before he turned away.
The pavement below his feet was warm - the air was humid, much like home. He was used to this heat. Grown up in this heat, much like Lita had. The smell of sand in the air - and the faintest smell of tacos. Well, this was well and truly home to the man. He breathed it all in with a goofy looking smile on his lips.
He began to follow Lita into the hotel, she made the comment of only one bed and he turned to face her - raising an eyebrow. “Never been a problem before.” He watched her face and eased up, putting his arms in the air. “I’ll take the couch, no biggie - I can be a gentleman.” He hmmph’ed as they got inside the hotel and headed straight for the elevator. The doors opened and they stepped inside - the duffel bag still clinging to his shoulders.
She was tell telling him what happened and he listened intently as the elevator doors opened and they made their way to the hotel room. She advised him to drop his **** anywhere and he did. He dropped his duffel by the door and scratched his ear in thought.
“What did they look like, these men she, and yourself was with.” He thought. “Were they muscled, any significant tattoos, that might be the mark of another cartel - or a rival gang?” That was always his first choice. Adelita was a cartel princess - she may have slightly changed but if you focused on her you could see who she was.
< Adelita > Adelita tried to think back on what the three men looked like and if they had any distinguishing marks. The woman closed her eyes so that her brown hues disappeared as she went back to the night before. “One of them was very tan, tanner than either of us. His head was shaved, except for the top...He had short spiky hair on the very top.I don’t..I couldn’t see any tattoos on him. I didn’t see him, or any of his friends naked.” Lita retorted before rolling her eyes. None of them had been her type.
“The other to his right…” Lita opened her eyes, now having a clear picture of all three in her mind. “Little heavier set, but he wasn’t fat. He had a black button down shirt, white ball cap tilted to the right and a silver cross.” Lita nodded her head and then snapped her fingers. His hand had a rosary tattoo’d to it.” She remembered that, because she spent half the night trying to figure out what it was from the distance.
“The third...his head was completely shaved...there was nothing really fascinating about him. I ignored him the most of the three...and” Adelita frowned and then shook her head. No tattoo-wait. Yes, he had one on his forearm. “A bird...A blue jay maybe? Or a cardinal?” She rolled her shoulders. It was black and white with no colors-I’m sorry, Gordic.” Adelita looked to the male in the hotel room and then frowned. “But-I introduced myself as someone else and then...Wynifred’s phone has my real name in it. He’s going to put two and two together. Sooner or later. Maybe. He told me to be a good girl.” Her eyes narrowed as she said that final part, eyes looking around the hotel room. “He demanded one million dollars and said he would be in touch to give me the drop off location.” Lita finished quietly.
<G O D R I C>
He sat at the other end of the bed, he was sure to give Lita her space. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable - or perhaps start anything which would lead to sweating in various areas and panting - all from her. They had a human thrall to find - if they make progress, and she wants it then he’d be game, as much as he loved her. He knew how much the thrall meant to her.
She began to describe the men to her and he fished around in his duffel for a notebook and began to write down the key features. He was jotting down the tattoo’s because sometimes different gangs used them as an insignia.
“How about rings, did they have any?” He knew he was asking a lot of questions but he had to be sure what he was up against.
“Accents?” He asked. “Did they have a different accent was it a thicker one than ours now. Did his voice put you on edge?” The pen was leaning against the lined paper as he waited for her response.
< Adelita >Again, Adelita’s eyes closed as she thought about the men’s hands. The first one...she shook her head..The second “Nothing on the first male. The second had a silver, or platinum ring-maybe white gold..It had a hideous red square ring with a..” Adelita paused and opened her eyes, staring absently in Godric’s direction. “A bird. A large one. Maybe a hawk or an eagle...I’m not sure. Definitely something with wings.” Adelita nodded her head, confirming that part of it. “The third he had...a block sort of ring. With some letters on it. Four letters.” Adelita sighed, having not seen or thought of any significance to these rings when first meeting them. Maybe those letters were initials to his children’s rings...Family was a big important thing to a lot of people in Mexico. “NG.” She rubbed at her left temple before blurting those two out. “I remember NG. At the end. Lo siento.” Adelita sighed, offering an apologetic smile.
“Their accents...much heavier than around here. I don’t think they live in this part. Harsher. More pronounced and defined.” Adelita lifted her shoulders, it wasn’t uncommon for people to move around in mexico either, given the wars in various areas in Mexico. “Is all I remember, Godric.” Lita shook her head, frustrated that there wasn’t more to give the male that came all this way to help her.
<G O D R I C>
He was still jotting everything down that needed to be jotted - the accents and the rings was what he wanted to focus on solely. She finished her recollection and he nodded. He was quite happy with that she had delivered to him, she had one hell of a brain to remember all of that. Adelita looked so sad, she must be so worried for her thrall. He made his way over to her and sat down next to her. Wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulled closer so her head was resting in the crook of his neck. He didn’t make a move on her - or try to start anything he was simply trying to be reassuring in Lita’s time of need.
“We’ll get them, don't you worry.” He shook his notebook in his hand. “I’ll get some boys on the streets that I know, get them looking for me. We’ll get her back - and all I need for you to be is for strong for your human friend. They need her alive and unharmed for the ransom.” He threw her a wink.
“Think you can be strong for her - and me?” He looked down at her then with that sweet signature smile of his.”
< Adelita > Adelita was more or less, snuggled up tight against Godric while he was talking to her. Trying to be a support system for the Allurist. “I don’t have any choice, do I?” Adelita sighed, shrugged and then pulled away to give Godric a small, very small smile. “SHe means alot to me. When Remington disappeared and then you and Elighan-” Adelita returned to his side and put her head back on Godric’s shoulder. “She stayed. She’s been with me for a long time. I know it’s stupid to some people. Because she’s just a human.” Adelita confessed before leaning forward and resting her elbows on both legs and placed her chin in both open palms. “I don’t make her stay. She wants to stay. She wants to be my friend.” Adelita let both arms drop between her legs and shrugged once more. “Just tell me what I need to do and I will do it.”
<G O D R I C>
He made sure his hand didn’t rub too far down as he was bound to get carried away in his soothing, caressing - wannabe comforting gestures. An arm draped loosely around her shoulder until she pulled away and he looked at her - as she looked at him. Her chin resting in between the palms of her hands. He nodded at her - he understood, he knew how hard it was to lose someone whom you loved. “Yeah, I get it. You essentially love her.” She’s family to Lita which made her all the more special to the woman. Godric felt for her. Godric did anything for Lita’s family. Vampire or human - granted he hadn’t met her vampire family. She had mentioned something about siring someone. “I get it. I do.” He nodded his head slowly. “Do you have a phone, that I can use - to call some of my contacts?” He asked her. “You can trust them - they work for me essentially.” He gave a smug grin then.
< Adelita > Adelita laughed at the mention of her loving her thrall, and even though she did in a roundabout way, Lita wouldn’t admit it. “She’s like an annoying younger sister.” Adelita claimed with a roll of her eyes before thinking on her phone. “Si.” Adelita then moved from the bed, to where the phone was sitting, charging on the bedside stand. She clicked the button on the bottom middle of the device, seeing it light up, but not seeing any missed calls from anyone, most of all, from Wynifred’s phone number. Adelita typed in her passcode to unlock the device and then offered the phone to Godric, with her hand outstretched. “I trust them if you trust them.” Was her only input about Godric’s contacts from Mexico.
<G O D R I C>
He nodded his head in a simple thanks and took the phone where he began to key in a number and put the cellular device to his ear and waited for someone on the other end to pick up. “Max.” He said into the mouthpiece. “Godric.” There was a pause at the other end of the phone. “I need you to do something, you and Rodrigo need to hit the streets for me.“ …. “Yes, now.” … “You won’t get paid if you don’t do it - and your wife? Yeah.”.... “I’ll shoot her.” Nothing quite like instilling fear into the recruits, that's how you keep em’ going. “Like I said, I need you to hit the streets. I need you to put your ear to the ground and find some info for me - it’s important.” …. Godric then listed off everything he knew about these kidnappers to them and told him what had happened to the thrall. “As soon as you find something out call this number…” …. “I don’t care how long it takes - get it done.” He hung up then giving Max no more wiggle room to try and get around in.
“Max and Rodrigo and going to the streets now - they’ll find these guys, or at least a lead for us to go on. For now, we wait.” He said as he shrugged his shoulders. There was nothing they could do for now - until his boys find out something.
< Adelita > The threat to the man’s wife made Lita’s eyes double in size, but the woman didn’t interrupt Godric at all. She let him do his work as he saw fit, but once the call ended...that was another story. When it did end and Godric reassured Adelita that everything was under control and that his men would find something...at some point, Adelita just nodded her head slowly, her top teeth biting at her slightly puffy lower lip, from an entire night of chewing at it, as Lita approached Godric and made herself at home in his lap. “Muchas gracias, Godric. For everything.” Adelita said softly as her left arm came to drape on his right shoulder, the woman staring into his eyes. Those dangerous, sexy eyes. Once upon a time Adelita would feel weak in the knees and shiver with desire and anticipation in this sort of situation, but now? Now, Godric needed to learn something, or remember something.
“Do you remember the story mi padre tells all his men at some point or another?” Lita asked as her other arm came up, allowing her to run a finger across his lips, still staring at him. “About Montez and how he came to power? How mi familia came into power?” Lita dropped the finger and instead leaned into Godric and bit down on his lip with her teeth, as the hand dropped from his shoulder, and came close to where his below the belt bits were. Her hand would run over those delectable parts and then cup them in just a way that let him know she wasn’t going to instigate something friendly. “Leave the women out of the men’s work, si?” She reminded him with a gentle squeeze to his penis again, then gave him a quick kiss on the lips before scooting off him. “As much as I hate mi padre, his codes of conduct were endearing and made sense. When a Mexican man loves a woman-he’s muy loco en la cabeza. Let’s not piss off too many people while we are here, si?” Lita blew him a kiss and moved to the couch in the hotel room and sighed as she waited for some news. Any-from Godric’s men, to Wynifred’s captives.

She was on his lap. Her beautiful face close to his as he watched her. She leaned close enough then began to pull his lip into her mouth. He leaned close enough so his upper lip was briefly brushing against hers - he didn't instigate it was hard not too, there was so many emotions he felt for poor Adelita. He knew they were flirty but he wanted more than that. He was sure he wouldn't get that. She was a wild woman, you never grounded a wild woman.
“Yes.” He said gruffly “I remember that story. Your father told all the guards, he pointed the finger at me.” He laughed a little. His chest rumbling. “I think he knew we were *******.” Her hands went lower and a growl left his lips. Her hand was on her dick, cupping it on the outside of his jeans. He wriggled a little. He didn't want her to know he was getting a little excited.
“Your father was a wise man. Sometimes.” She blew him a kiss and got off his lap, released her hold on his dick. If he could breathe, he would have exhaled his release then.
< Adelita > Adelita wasn’t surprised to hear that her father had targeted Godric when he told that story. They tried to hide their illicit torrid love affair from him, but sometimes it was near impossible. Finding a place where he or none of his men were at. More times than not both had to untangle themselves from the other, and walked away unsatisfied because of how many people were on the property. How no one ever suspected what was really going on between her and Godric annoyed Adelita because at one point, she wanted them to be caught. To force someone’s hand to strike-hopefully it was Godric’s and not her padre’s.
But as the couple spent more and more time together...her thoughts had changed. Adelita didn’t want to be caught with Godric-and at about that time, thankfully Remington entered her life and came up with a new plan. One where Godric wouldn’t have to be the bad guy. Not before it was too late. “Only because he stole that from Montez.” Adelita never really knew him because she wasn’t born until he was old and dying from some sort of cancer. He died when Adelita was just under two years old, her madre told her. “Nothing he did was original. Trust me.” Adelita rolled her eyes and then frowned. That wasn’t exactly true-no one else wanted to kill their daughter at one point or another-not that she blamed him. She had wanted him dead after she learned the truth about her madre’s drug conviction and tried to get that to happen. Eventually it would happen because of Godric and their sire.
“Roberto. Ivan.” Adelita snapped her head up after thinking in silence for a few seconds, blurting two of their names out. “That’s two of the men’s name. That was at the club.” Lita said with a big smile that filled most her southern facial features. “Hopefully that helps more?”
“I didn’t know she hadn’t come back. I kept texting her and then she called me and I called her, only to find out it wasn’t her.” Adelita’s small frown returned again as the door pinged open to the floor her hotel room was on. “It’s to the right.” Adelita said, changing the subject. The doors opened and they stepped inside - the duffel bag still clinging to his shoulders.
