"Your decision it is, for to tell or not," she told Peter. Honesty was, after all the best policy and the only option open to her, since she was incapable of lying. "Difficult it would have been for our secret to keep, when he in the light must live. Noticed he would have, that something different was. And able to lie to him, or anyone, I am. Strained then our conversations would be. Advise you I never would for everyone to tell. But those that trusted can be, perhaps. The decision yours is. This a different era is."

Keara stood as she always did, her hands at her sides, her fingers playing with and picking at the material of her skirt. She wasn't restless, but she did need to remind herself that this world was real. She'd gone a little too long without seeing Enver and as such, her old coping habits were beginning to show through. She still required her husband to ground her in this world and remind her that it was real. Even an hour from his side, was enough for her tactile nature to kick back in. Thankfully it wasn't so bad yet that she felt the need to lean upon the altar or worse, seek contact with the nearest wall.

"Oh a danger we can be," she said turning her attention to Jersey. "Peter correct in that is. Fledglings an issue are, if their instincts too strong are. If able they are not for their thirsts to contain. Worry for that here I do not. Enough family have we do for him safe to keep. Enough protection here there is, for him safe to keep."

The thought of Jamie being drained dry or ripped apart had Keara's blood running cold. It wasn't something she wanted to think about, especially since she had enough more than enough life experience for the thought to paint an all too graphic image upon her mind. Thankfully, she was confident that he was as safe as he possibly could be, even living among vampires. Security wasn't something she'd say they offered, but it wasn't something they lacked either.

"Alternate plan had I too in place. For if trusted he could not be. Enthralled him then I would have. That easily done is. But ideal it is not for if you someone a part of your family wish to make. His will from him I wished not to strip."

It was something she'd considered. She'd of killed Serge if she had to. Or Crash. Though killing Crash would have required Enver's permission since she'd promised after killing Hannah never to kill any of his thralls without it. He'd not been happy to find out that she'd killed the mouthy, blonde and despite the fact that she wasn't in her right mind and did regret the act, it wasn't something she'd necessarily change even if she could; not when killing the female had brought her a peace of mind, her living status would not have brought.
