I listen, but don't comment. I don't particularly take part in snubbing people or talking behind their backs. I find the need to do something like that beneath me and certainly beneath our species. Even potentially damaging to our community. I don't believe we can all be friends, but there's a hierarchy and I believe we are on the top. To stay that way we have to at least be able to talk to each other respectably. That also doesn't mean I don't think our society would be better off without ninety percent of the population at hand. But what can you do?

I nod my head, indicating I heard what T said. "Well, I brought you here because should you need help, I'm more than willing to extend my help." I move to a craft bench and brush some animal hair off it. "Least I can do for a faction mate." I add in, thinking about T and the things he's shared with me tonight.

"If you find a different method that is more promising, I wouldn't be against hearing it. Or seeing it." I add in. I don't believe my methods are the be all, end all. And that sort of attitude is primitive and damaging to an individual.

Nodding Trahir agrees to sharing any ideas he comes up with. "I've been doing the butcher paper thing, taking pieces up for the boys, but they aren't fully grown and they can't handle the volume." He sounds slightly dejected by that. "I feel them as much as they can handle. I want them to grow up big and strong."

"Let's see... I have a similar set-up to this on a much smaller scale at another one of my spots, not an apartment. It sees a lot less traffic but is even less optimal than the apartment to house Gustave and Lolong. Other ways to just get rid of the that I've used are pretty standard. Quicklime, sulfuric acid in any of the chemical plants around town, suicide rarely. Or just bringing the bodies into the QZ and tossing them to the zombies there. I'm sure nothing that hasn't seen use in Harper Rock a thousand times."

He falls silent. Murder had never been one of his favorite topics as a human and now it's... it's very nearly comforting. On some level he knows that should disturb him but it simply doesn't. He gives a little shrug to Roderic as if to say That's about it. Too many words this evening. Not enough blood.

He remembers something he wanted to ask suddenly. "What would happen if one were to feed crocodiles vampire blood on a regular basis?"

"Nothing." I tell T in a very monotone, but final voice as I look around my shop and sort out my next project to tackle to complete the set up. "It would be a waste of your time." I also tell him. "I thought the same thing a while back, but nothing happened when I ran a test experiment on some birds. I suspect it would be the same result. I don't know why humans are susceptible to being enhanced, and animals aren't, but maybe it has to do with genetic structure or something. I'm no scientist. You should meet Doc."

I turn to face him again before continuing. "Doc is in Tytonidae. He's helped me with a few things on the scientific spectrum of things. He knows what he's doing." Doc rates high in my mind, as one of the need to know people. Someone I can even trust-even if it's on a small scale for the time being. I still don't even tell my wife the things I get up to all the time.

"It seems like you know what you're doing. Or should be doing." I'm not sure why people were giving him a hard time in the faction-but it wasn't like T was forthcoming with his clean-up regime. Now I'm wondering why we're here. I grab my phone out of my back pocket to catch the time. "I have to head home soon. Happy wife-happy life. Right?" I ask him, like he actually knew. He already told me he wasn't married yet, but he seemed committed to the idea and to the woman he wanted to marry. And, I suspect he, along with most people have heard or used that saying before. I pocket the phone again. "Good luck on The Bridge, T." I nod to the guy before I dig for the keys to the shop so I can lock up behind us for the night.

Trahir gives a little bow. "Thank you for answering my questions. If I can return the favor and assist in any way in the future let me know." He takes his customary three steps backward before turning and making his way toward the door and out into the night air.

"Take care Roderic." He doesn't mention he has been married, had children and lost them. He doesn't mention this because he has been systematically eliminating the memories from his head he doesn't wish to be there. "I suppose I should be getting back to Corentine. I shudder to think what she may be up to." He gives Roderic a smile and another small bow and heads off down the street in the direction of Veil Tower.
