He would follow, the odd one out as the events of the last hour or so didn't seem to register with him at all. For all those who saw them walking by there was no reason to think they were anything more then a few college kids looking to get hammered. Blitzed. **** Faced.

Snookered.

"Well that part I remember. I turned around and saw you looking at me, and I had the sudden impression as if I had been caught. Like I was 4 years old again and my Dad found my hand in some kind of cookie jar. Industrial area is nearby...kinda caught in shadow. I probably thought I would get away from you, but seriously, looking back it was clear you weren't trying to catch me. So...I'll count it as a bit of Good Luck, eh?" He said, grinning back to both of them.

Soon though they would arrive at Lancasters. If Patrick was their man Flint he would let him do the talking, seeing if he could catch what kind of music, if any, came from inside. It occurred to him then he forgot something...a gym bag that he left at school. School? He went to school?

At least that was a good sign. Step in the right direction and all that. Looking to Nerissa he'd ask, "So what's your favorite poison?"

Once they got to the bar, he held the door open for the two of them to enter before him. It seemed business as usual but as he looked around he didn't see Skylar any where in sight but then again she probably had her hands full at the moment. He made his way to the bar and told the bartender that drinks where on him for the night for the two he came in with. His bank account was full thanks to Sky. He'd have to find a way to repay her some how.

"Have whatever you like." He said as he winked at Nerissa. He was flirting but in all honesty that was what he did regardless. He mentioned for both if them so he did nod to the new comer as well. "Drinks are on me." Some how ever time he said that he ended up in some kind of trouble here or there. Let's hope tonight wasn't going to be horrible.

She shrugged slightly at the question. "I tend to go with whiskey, unless I'm feeling adventurous." She walked through the door Patrick held open and waited for the men to choose where to sit. She grinned in response to Patrick's flirting, but said nothing except to order some whiskey. As she waited for her drink she watched the two men closely. It had been a few months since she turned, and within that time she found out that only allurists could handle anything other than blood, so she was curious how these two would handle the alcohol. She didn't want to outright ask them since she wasn't familiar with the place, and humans tend to listen in when they shouldn't.

"So seeing how we all just met, anything I should know about you guys? Any dark secrets you wish to share?" Her grey eyes flashed at the word secrets. She was partly joking, but secrets were one of her favorite things to learn about people, and she would do what she could to learn them if they interested her enough. She never expected anyone to give them up willingly, and still doesn't, except from her sire. Every time they talked she learned something new. But that was a whole different case entirely and didn't matter right then. What did matter was making sure she wasn't making a huge mistake in staying there at the bar.

Anything I should know about you guys.

Secrets.

There was a moment when she said those words when his eyes would flash like a cat in the night, and his grin would become very much like the Cheshire cat, made all the more potent by the simple truth that he did not even know he held such a grin.

"Secrets? Me? None that I know, but if you find any on me, do share. I'd be curious to know myself..." he said, ordering a Rum and Coke. It wasn't the order of a Vampire Allurist, who could imbibe and appear human. Nor was it the order of a vampire who would simply order the drink and then let it sit in his hand as a conversation piece. A little spill here, there, and it could seem they keep up with the rest..rather it was the order of someone who just wanted a Rum and a Coke.

The Blood would be easy enough to smell on him. Caught under his nails, laced on his fingertips and palms. His breath. Humans might be blind, especially in a club at night...but...something wasn't right. That and his right hand was moving as if on it's own, fidgeting and moving into his pocket and pulling out a thin match which would spin around his fingers deftly. He was glancing around to those gathered. The humans...moving from one to the other. His eyes were pleasant at first...that Cheshire grin holding until it suddenly wasn't there anymore. Oh it was still a grin...but it had lost the whimsical touch, taking on all the sharp edge of a knife pulled out of a silk sheath.

"Patrick..Patrick...I think I like this place..." he murmured.

"I'm glad you like it." He smirked at him before looking back to Nerissa. "Depends on your thought of dark. Like dark as in bad, like you murdered a guy, burned down a building etc. Or dark as in embarrassing. Like someone sleeps with a night light and teddy bear or they have a dolphin tattooed on their *** or something?"

He knew it he didn't really answer her question but it was fun to get people to think and talk. Not the most philosophical question but it was a start. He got his normal drink of whiskey and did as he normally did and downed the first glass like it was a shot.

Lisa cursed silently as she moved along the streets. Damn hunters... she finally found herself wanting to keep someone and because of those ******* pest she went and lost him. Her first shadow, she had to find him. This is where that little thing called sight would work so well. The thought had her stopping in her tracks. Shaking her head and thinking she really wished she remembered all the nifty tricks she could do sooner.

Relaxing her muscles and taking a long unneeded breath she let herself see through the eyes of the one she wanted to find. It still startled her to be able to actually see anything. Not just shadows in the dark. She could see the street and the sign hanging off the building. "Well hell no wonder I was catching your scent." From what she could remember he was just a street over. He hadn't made it all that far from where they had last sparred together. Where he had taken his last real breathe.

Tilting her head she listen for the small line of cars to go by then moved across the quiet street. She quickly moved down the alley to the street her target was at. "Damn fledgling" There was nothing good about to happen if she didn't get there before he decided he needed a drink to sooth whatever nerves he had. Following the scent of booze and cigarette smoke, she reached the point where she could easily hear the murmur of voices and music.

Pushing the door, she took only a moment ti inhale his scent that now held a trace of her own. Walking up behind the man and group he was speaking to. She placed a hand on the back of his seat and spoke softly. "Yo Jeb, you really really don't want to do that. Well unless you want whatever your about to drink to come back with a vengeance. Not only is it a bit embarrassing, but it hurts like hell."

Nerissa took a sip of her drink after watching Patrick down his. "Well both types of secrets are fun to find out. It just depends on what you're willing to share."

She ignored the sound of the door opening, thinking it was just another customer not worth the attention, until a woman put her hand on the other man's chair.'Jeb' huh? Short for Jebadiah? The woman warned him to not drink the alcohol, so it was becoming clearer that he was a vampire. Nerissa nodded to the woman. "Well it's a good thing someone knows him. He's having a bit of a memory problem." She watched the woman closely. She wasn't familiar, so they hadn't met before. Out of the corner of her eye Nerissa saw her shadow twitch defensively and tried to will it to settle down. The last thing she needed was a situation to arise because she couldn't control her own shadow.

He heard the arrival of the woman, his ears twitching though to the sound of his name. It was familiar enough, like a worn glove that slid easily onto your hand. It fit. "Thank you...but..not really interested in the drink any more." he said, looking around the Bar itself taking in the customers one after the other. His hand was moving along his form, not searching for the gun that he had hidden but rather the knife. The natural lighting of Lancasters made it difficult to see..but they were close enough to find it.

"Could cut them perhaps...drain them ...but there's more inside the bone. Always more. I should get a claw hammer..break them open. Can't drink marrow..but can squeeze.." he murmured before turning back to Lisa..."Are you hungry? Are you upset I didn't save you any? I'm sorry..it was terrible manners.." he said, before gesturing to Patrick, "He led me here though...very polite, and there seems to be plenty. I think we need to lock the doors first though..."

"Man, you don't want to do that, trust me." He slowly moved his hand to his side, not just on his gun but it was close enough. "This is my grand sire`s place and he would not be too pleased if word got out that we are real. If you want to feed we need to go somewhere else."

He didn't want to start anything but he was ready to if need be. His only hope was that the two ladies had the same thought as he did if he needed back up and a fight was to happen. "So why don't you relax and we can get out of here quickly and easily."

Lisa leaned against her walking staff turning dark blue sunglasses in the girls direction. Her mouth opening to reply until she heard Jeb’s response. “Hmmm…. yeah I think I broke him. Liz might be able to come and translate crazy for me.” Turning back to her childe she lifted the hand that was resting on his chair, lightly brushing it along his cheek and jaw. “Ok, I didn’t think I mistook the scent. So umm… Jeb?”

Once again stopping to listen to someone else in their group. His grandsires place? Taking a long inhale of breath. Great, just what she needed. “No need.” Not bothering facing the man who just spoke. “He will behave himself.” Her voice was a little stronger as she said it. More of a warning to her childe. Her fingers tapping his cheek, making sure she had his attention. Her voice low enough so only the three near her could hear. “I will beyond pissed if you get yourself killed. So far I have never had a reason to go fist to cuffs with these guys and would like to keep it that way.”

Shaking her head she leaned back. “******* hunters. If not for them I would of been with you when you woke. But lets see if we can curb that hunger of yours.” Now she turned to the other male. “Since this is your grand-sires place, my guess is he has some special drinks back there. Maybe you can get a couple cups of it. Taste like **** this way, but will do the trick. Either that or its a walk to the closest shop to buy some.”
