"One hundred and ten thousand," Madison met Velveteen's grin with a sickly sweet smile of her own.

Abbadon could feel the snarl welling up in her throat, but she kept her composure. She couldn't bid again, not with the price in six digits, but she could go stand with Velveteen, her arm brushing against hers.

"I would be in your debt if you won her." The 'for me' went unsaid. She gave the leader of her family a genuine, if strained, smile.

Velveteen smiled though she did not avert her gaze from the other. "One hundred and eleven thousand."

She couldn't explain what had drawn her to Lancaster's. She had heard the rumors of the auctions, of course, but what person would put themselves on display for anyone in the city to buy? The thought made her stomach twist in disgust as she stepped inside. When the door shut behind her, fatefully sealing her in with the rest of the crowd, the Russian nervously worked her fingers through her hair. It didn't take her long to spot someone she knew, and the moment she did, she had a distinct wish to turn and run. Nishaa - her sister - was milling about on stage as if she didn't have a care in the world. It was then she heard the bids ringing out, and her leader's voice had her gaze snapping directly to her.

In a crowd of people, she would always be able to find her.

Curling her fingers into her palms, Reanna weaved her way in and out of the bodies, her green glare locked on Velveteen. With a clenched jaw, she settled in at her side, silent as always as she let that gaze move towards the stage once again. She hadn't missed the other voice ringing out, and the thought of her getting her hands on her sister had her temper flaring. Keeping her face a complete emotionless mask, the brunette rested her gloved hand on her leader's shoulder to let her know she was there, and simply waited.

If it came down to it, she'd walk away with her sister in tow.
That was all there was to it.
