Velveteen eyed her husband and smirked. "I do like presents."

There was something to be said for bright ideas...when one has such. Signing up to be in the meat circus was likely not one of her better ones. Sitting on the stage feeling like and being eyeballed like a twitching and expiring piece of roadkill by some rather hungry vultures was coming to mind. She gave the back of her own neck a little massage with her inked digits as if she could afford the luxury to do so. It was time to participate in her immediate future up for grabs. There likely was not enough alcohol in the place to make her forget this night or the weeks worth that surely would follow.
Stag was there. Nice cowboy with access to amazing parts and supplies. She smiled and winked. If there was a thirsty male in the house it would likely be him. She paused at her neck with her fingers then quickly tugged her hand down with realization and winced.
A blast from the not so distant past was heard in a female voice and of course the dark haired woman caught her eye. Who couldn't notice her. Especially when Mr. Track and Field appeared into the scene. She felt like the roadkill that should have one last prayer left and be able to rise just lost all it's hope left as he spoke up and bid. 'RUN' suddenly came to mind. She looked down and realized she left her pink running shoes at home and opted for casual leather instead. Well, ****.
"I see you two still get out." She looked at them from her rather quiet spot on the stage. She was an inked peacock so she hardly had to strut to impress. She blinked then looked over to Stag.
"I am thinking this isn't your first time to the rodeo." She looked over both sets of faces to see where her skunky fan went. Obviously this was the point she was supposed to break out in song and dance. Anyone who knew here knew damn well she never did what she was supposed to. She doubted she was going to start now. She smirked.

Stagger Lee knew who the man that was bidding on Mini now was. He was a vampire, and so most likely was his partner. They were among those of the most dangerous kind, the ones that others always mentioned to him when they said that there were different shades of vampire. The bad and the really evil ones. These two supposedly belong to the later category.
Would he have cared? Not usually. Vampire politics wasn't his business.
But did he want his friend to fall into their hands? Certainly not.
"100k", he raised the bid on Dominique.
