Well, let me know if you start adding new people :)

That's usually the way it rolls. Time is a pretty fluid thing and I'm not in any big rush. I hadn't realised it (until Chloe pointed it out) but I've been absent from the RP side of the game for about a year now and Pi's story has suffered for it. My biggest disappointment in her development was her not getting into Tytonidae, and I took more time off as my interest bottomed out and I have to figure out where she can go from here and what she can be, if she can't be the conflicted killer I had envisioned for her. :)
Or maybe, her conflict can come from some other source. It's all about what's happening out there I think.
That in part depends on what others are doing as well, and what groups are out there. Whether she fits or not is a bit irrelevant, since I think the best development of a character is putting them into situations where they largely don't fit. Playing diversity of opinion is where I prefer to write my characters because conflict, whether its internal or external is just more fun to plot, plan and write.
Curious though, after asking this question, that there aren't more groups. Maybe they're hidden?

I *think* Fifth Column is still out there... maybe?

I'm pretty sure that's dead too.
I think the problem with factions are the players. No one wants to take the time, commit to the work involved and the number of active roleplayers seems to be dwindling. Plus there's all the reasons I listed in my last post. People are paranoid.

Hrmmm, there does seem to be a lack of active groupings of people right now.

It's hard to be motivated to do anything different when anything different seems to be such an unpopular idea. And that leaves just creating clones of other groups. And that's just a big yawn.

Hrmmm, I think the key is finding something you really want to invest time in, and do that, then invite people in and build up slowly. I suspect what you're already doing with DTM. :)

She should.
Combine revisiting your original plans and use Pi's new connection to TFF to make TFF and SoU both more successful.
;)

Personally I would like to see more groups as well. They don't all have to focus on skills or paths.. but I think a thieves secret guild be great. "Need something in a hurry? I know a guy who knows a guy.. who can get it.."
Basically be a broker for items needed but not on auction
