Make sure you also change his battle tactics so he uses no powers & I had to fiddle with the rest of the tactics, as well. Pretty sure they were set to very cautious on both.
If he is already a Sorcerer make sure Rock Skin isn't activated, that helps big time. It will still take more than 10 battles to get the requirement, but should be easier than it was.

They mostly hang out in abandoned places or bars. Your best bet is to go through those places one at a time.

Any NPC can be found doing the Locate Enemy ritual. Load up on ears and Charms and go to it. On the NPC table, for each NPC, on the far right is the Fae name for that NPC. Look at the Ritual link and there's a chart that has all the Fae symbols/words that are used in rituals. You can find the 2 symbols for your NPC easily and go from there.

Sun's human thrall can do the ritual so I'm pretty sure anyone can.
That's the easiest way to find whatever NPC you need.
