I am not too fond of most sweets. Ice cream is the exception to that rule. ;)

We should not be focusing on the reason as to why this suggestion was made and focus on the suggestion itself.

From what I can gather from the Suggestion, for medical reasons, being able to customize the font people are pretty much having to read, in order to do so with as little discomfort as possible.

Why is this even being debated? Should it not be looked into, rather than bickered over?

The simple fact is, reading becomes a strain to us all at one point or another. Sadly, there are some people who's vision is impaired, even slightly, but unnoticeable in everyday life. But, when confronted with too much of one colour or another, can cause terrible side effects. On the other hand, some people might need these brighter colours in order to read the words properly. Unless we tell people this they cannot know who is effected by what. Unless we ask, we cannot discover this knowledge either.

But, that does not solve all the problems, all it does is make some posts unreadable to others. Yet we know about the problem.

I know Yahoo Messenger, and probably all the others do too, has a way to alter your own personal settings so that no matter what colour and font your chat partner uses, it will show up in your window as your own pre-set colour and font system. So it is possible to do, so, should we not be putting forth suggestions as to how we should go about doing this, for the good of everybody, rather than bickering about who said what and how?

Okay, so... after all that....

What about putting a little bit in the User Control panel where you can select the option to set your own font colour. That way only your screen if effected, can be adjusted to suit you. Simple fix to a problem that has become over complicated with other issues.

If we can install a mod which optionally sets all fonts to a color of the user's choosing (or no color), then we will. It's a good suggestion, as I find some of the font colours annoying too.

Plus, personally, I don't need a font colour to tell me when the text is thought or a thrall speaking, as I'm used to guessing that due to the grammar.
