;) 15 more districts to go.

The Metronome was supposed to have some corrupt (possibly unwritten now) plots in the past, there's been fights in there (though it is a club... it happens). I'm not sure this would be the most neutral spot and I know I cannot vouch for being here 100% to police it. If there is verification of Necro still remaining neutral, then maybe mark clubs off the list and have something else in Wicksbridge. I would have said the Undersecretary office, but.. I think that is gone now?

I thought the Necro had some sort of special coding though where you couldn't be seen feeding? Is that purely a figment of my imagination?

Necro seems like a good choice to me for two reasons.

Virtually every Elysium I can recall from the book and the game (Bloodlines... which is AWESOME) is a Club or a Restaurant.
The major Elysiums (Elysia?) in Bloodlines are:
- The Asylum (a themed-club) in Santa Monica
- The Last Round in Downtown LA
- The Asp Hole (a bar) in Hollywood
- Vesuvius (another club) in Hollywood
- Red Dragon (another restaurant) in Chinatown

The other Elysiums are pretty much just places where killing the NPCs would just screw up the storyline.

I also agree that anyone can SAY "no violence here", but Elysium is all about ENFORCEMENT. In my mind, Amara jumping ship ADDS to the reason we should use the Necro. If a territory belongs to someone, then there are going to be claims that they're trying to "hide behind Elysium" or otherwise they're going to get "selective enforcement" (Digo, for instance, might protect Elysium for vampires he associates with, and ignore claims by vampires he doesn't like). A neutral territory, however, is likely to draw the most regular enforcement from the most people.

So, in essence: 1.) club good, 2.) neutral good.

I don't know whether this is worth throwing in, but in some courts (cities) Elysium is also a place where the use of powers is forbidden.

No one. No one is running or has ownership of the necro but Amara.

I really hope she'll be back someday. Wouldn't it be nice if she came back to see the Necro actually being maintained as a real neutral zone as she had wished?

Nothing religious about it. As I've said multiple times and in multiple places. It's a community centre that has strong ties to the local government and runs various programs to help people in their lives.
Roberts place doesn't make sense. Especially if liz takes this on.
Why?
He's dead. Ic...liz can't ask him and prob wouldn't. He cam also do the rit himself if he ever comes back and had opportunities to do so ages ago.

I like the idea of a poll and want the necro as am option for one of the places.

My bigger concern would be that it wouldn't see a lot of use as it's not centrally located. Necropolis is just south of a major rail station. The Sanctuary is on the outskirts (not even on the Fast Travel map!)

Raises another question though: are we actually thinking about trying to maintain an ongoing Eri's Will in the Necro? Is there even an Altar in there? I mean, it definitely settles the need for enforcement, but wow... that's a lot of Sorc blood.

This is incorrect. RP wise, Amaranthia left AJ in charge of and running the Necro. AJ runs it, bartends there and hosts parties.

In terms of grid ownership of the actual lair though, Amara/Ash still owns and controls the square, but Aysel runs/controls every thing else until Amara's (hopeful) return. She does maintain Amara's dreams for the necro and keeps it as neutral as possible.

He did do it. Doesn't stop traps being laid though.

Some players - like myself - have 0 idea what is meant by Elysium. It's not a name/term/word I've ever come across I'm afraid. Which means that term isn't going to be something our charries have necessarily heard either, so won't hold any power to it.

You don't need to cast it in the building. It's a remote ritual that you can cast on anything, anywhere, from anywhere.

Yeah, I think something close to a station would be a good idea. In a hub area where there are humans and vampire alike.

Why?

I'm thinking possibly long term here and wondering even if this is something Digo would like to join forces in (for lack of better terminology, I guess). If there is a place in the city that can be 'policed' as best as we can, say, doing the ritual, with humans frequenting it and vampires, in a place like the Necropolis (for an example), the idea of integration might not be so far fetched perhaps? The Necro already has some clients that believe vampires exist. But, if we have a place where there's no threat of violence or very little and vampires are revealed (if that happens in path, mind you), perhaps the outcome won't be so "HOMG, KEEL EACHOTHER NAOW."

Although, ic, I'm not sure how Liz feels about that. :)) I just know stat wise, Liz could attempt to do an eri's and can gather some/most all ingredients.

And yes, Digo. Doing an eri every day or a few times a week is what I was looking to do. Which is why it would require the community working together for a common goal. Even if it's just as a 'test' phase.
