The 'drug blood' was doing it's thing on CC and her eyes had closed to fuly immerse herself in the joy that was this feeding. Her arms wrapped a little more tightly around her as she felt 'elle relaxing back into her, seemingly enjoying it too. She'd fed from Leo before, and he'd willingly let her, and she'd bitten Zo regularly at 'certain moment's, as the woman had enjoyed the pain. But this, this was something completely new and different to her and she was loving it. Why couldn't all feedings be like this, so willing, so intoxicating and so damn hot. Her lips were moving softly against the skin, more massaging the blood free of the body she held than sucking it. She could feel the heart pumping in the girls chest, and felt the blood spilling into her mouth with every beat. She didn't want to hurt the girl, certainly didn't want to kill her - if she did that, then she would be deprived of this.... this.... whatever this was.
The woman's voice broke through whatever spell it was that CC had slipped under, the trance gone but the effects still remaining. 'Ell thought that CC was going to kill her? No, the girl would always be safe if CC was around - no-one was going to keep her from this prize. However, if the girl was worried, then CC needed to reassure her that all was well, that she was safe. Gently, she removed her fangs from her body and softly kissed at the two circular wounds as the bleeding stemmed. Her fangs were so sharp, that the wounds closed together perfectly, so they could barely be seen much in the same way a papercut is hard to see. She continued to kiss the woman's bare shoulder and neck, slowly stepping around her as she did until she was facing her and then smiled, looking up into her eyes in a slightly, hazy manner as if she were high. Her left hand lifted and cupped the girl's face, fingers just brushing against her hairline in a tender manner.
"I'm not going to kill you. You're too..... special, for that. There's something..... Who are you? WHAT are you? I've never.... I mean.... your taste, your smell, just, you.... ****!"
She didn't wait for an answer, she just leant in and took the woman's lips with her own and used all her years experience to kiss her as she guessed she'd never been kissed before.

Her plea seemed to work. CC ceased what she was doing, though what she'd been doing wasn't as unpleasant as Lorelai had imagined it would be. She hadn't been tearing at her flesh like some wild animal (though she had felt the fangs move inside her flesh). This woman was a conundrum; an affectionate vampire. Lorelai had believed they existed of course but this was the first time she'd been bitten and she hadn't been expecting it to be anything like this.
What was I expecting? I don't know. A dark alley. Lots of pain. Uncontrollable sobbing. Why didn't I try to pull away from her? Did I want this? No. I can't have. I didn't know. How could I know. I thought she was a paladin.
The light kisses on her skin were more enjoyable now, she was getting used to CC's touch now that the shock of the "attack" had worn off but then another wave of panic set in as she found herself kissing the creature as if she'd known her all her life. She wasn't exactly innocent but then she didn't have the experience CC had either and so she allowed CC to teach her, trying to match the rhythm of her tongue. Energy she understood and so in that she could at least be her equal, though she was so consumed with what was happening, that she'd yet to realise that perhaps this was all happening too soon.
The vampire had spoken to her before she'd claimed her lips, asked her questions and yet as she pulled back from the embrace, finally struggling against her hypnotic captor, she was having trouble remembering what it was that had been said.
"I'm sorry but no. Please no," she began hoping she'd be released. "I... I do not know you well enough for this."
Her mind was starting to clear, even as her body wanted to relent. It was strange to be at odd with herself like this. Her body screaming at her to shut up and just enjoy the attention while her mind raced with thought after thought and her being was filled with confusion.
Has it really been so long since I last...
"CC please release me," she whispered unable to look into the woman's eyes for fear that she might see something there that she didn't want to. "I told you who I am. My name is Lorelai. And I'm a..."
There was a slight hesitation before she continued as she wasn't sure if she was supposed to label herself this way or not. No-one had explained the etiquette of introducing yourself to another supernatural being. Of course she'd been told to keep the information to herself, to blend into society as best she could but surely if she knew of them, of vampires and paladins, then they had to know of her. Right?
"Sorcerer."

CC grumbled slightly as she let herself be pushed away a little by the squirming woman who seemed to be protesting against her. She raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but smirk and then chuckle at the complaint that they weren't well enough acquainted for a kiss. 'Ell had thrown up in front of her, flashed her pants at her, CC had fed on her - they were better acquainted than a lot of people ever were. But what had really amused CC, was that in her line of work that was not something she'd ever heard before. Anonymity and privacy were in fact quite sought after commodities in the world she moved in, so this 'not knowing each other enough' was an entirely foreign concept to her!
She didn't want to scare the girl off, not at all. Things would be a lot more pleasureable for them both if 'ell were receptive to what CC had in mind currently. If she would come back of her own accord, regularly, or even move in with her - then that would be the best case scenario. However, despite CC's experience over Christmas, she wasn't above simply keeping the girl as a captive so she could have that blood whenever she wished it. For now though - the girl was asking to be released, so CC released the arm that was still around her waist, holding them together. However, she didn't step too far away and instead lifted her hand to run through 'Ell's hair, brushing t out with her fingers and watching it intently. She seemed unable to look CC in the eyes as she spoke, but CC just stood there and watched, waiting, looking for that eye contact.
The girl admitted that she wasn't simply human and CC just looked at her curiously. A sorcerer? Well, that was new. She'd not heard of them before except for in books that usually contained stories of dragons, or swords in stones and such. Her fingers ran down the girl's arm, from her hair, and down over her hip and thigh, before she walked over to her desk with a wiggle of her hips and leant against it, looking at the girl again. She wasn't worried about her running, and she certainly believed her - what with everything else running around the damn city, why not sorcerers too? And if she did run, CC had lenty of strength, speed and powers with which to chase her down with. Which brought an idea to mind. She'd ordered a GPS chip for Leo - before she'd developed the power to see and hear through him - and it was lying around at home somewhere. If she could somehow get it inside 'Ell, then she'd know where she was constantly. So anytime she needed a 'hit' of her blood.... she'd know exactly where to go.
"Mmmmmm"
She rumbled softly at the thought, licking her lips slowly with a little shiver down her spine, before deciding to probe the whole 'sorcerer' thing.
"So.... you're like, ******* Merlin?"
She asked, trying to understand.
"What can you bloody do? Also.... you didn't seem..... surprised? When I bit you I mean. Most fuckers scream and faint and cry and babble about ******* vampires being real. Yadda yadda yadda. You did none of that ****. So, you know about us? That we exist?"
Wait, wasn't this a breach of that masquerade thing? That a human knew about vampires. Wasn't she supposed to kill her now, to protect the whole damn secret thing?
"Awww ****!"
There was no way she could do that or let that happen to this one. This one was HERS and no-one was touching her!

She relaxed a little as CC moved away from her and settled against the desk. Lorelai crossed her arms over her stomach nervously, listening as she spoke, occasionally tugging at the hem of the dress. She was obviously not at home in the outfit and was adjusting it every which way as she tried to get it to cover as much of her as possible. She could remember the feel of CC's hands upon her, how it had felt to have her run her hand down her arm, all little touches but they were intimate in nature. Rehearsed though and that bothered Lorelai as she couldn't understand the motivation behind them.
"Not like Merlin. No. It's a little difficult to explain but it's more about channelling energies. Using your own life-force. I'm not a magician...If that's what you were asking. I honestly don't know what my potential is yet. This path is entirely new to me, though I'm assured that my gifts will emerge in time."
Stop speaking Lorelai. You're saying too much. You should have thought to ask if you were allowed to explain these things to others before you left. Stupid.
She coughed and cleared her throat.
"And I did not scream because..." Her brows furrowed. "Actually I'm not sure why I didn't scream. You caught me off guard. I'd thought you a paladin," she gestured at CC's upper body. "Because you have so much body art. The wonders of this world are only just opening up to me, so I'm bound to make a few mistakes."
She'd made the mistake of making eye contact with CC and felt her stomach lurch and her heart begin to pound a little faster. She swallowed hard and forced herself to keep speaking.
"And yes. I knew of vampires before tonight. That's why I'm here in Harper Rock. To learn of them. Study them. But not just vampires. Paladins. Blood Thieves. Anything that is more than human. Doesn't it fascinate you that there is so much variety in the world? I had to know for myself. If the stories were true. If vampires really are all cruel and filled with hate. If paladins only fight naked. If blood thieves truly are crazy."
Her voice was filled with excitement and while she was telling this woman why she was there and what she was, it never occurred to her to say that she didn't wish vampires any harm. There were those of her kind that did but Lorelai knew she wasn't cut out for committing acts of violence herself.

She grinned at the way in which the girl pulled at the dress, almost as if she thought that if she pulled hard enough or enough times that she'd manage to stretch it out and into a bigger dress. It always made her wonder why people weren't comfortable in their own skin. She could be standing there stark naked, in front of the girl and 40 other people - she regularly was - and it didn't bother her in the slightest. The girl looked good, and from what CC had seen, had nothing wrong with her body and should be proud to show it off. Bit more muscle and she'd be perfect really. The arms folding over her stomach was a typical defensive posture, trying to protect herself and make her feel safe - CC had seen it a few times in people.
So, she wasn't like a magician and she wasn't like... Merlin, as in a sort of wizard. This was something completely different that she had no knowledge of. It seemed as well, that even 'Ell didn't know what she was, as she made some reference about growing into her powers and not reaching her potential yet. In fact, that sounded very much like how she got her own powers in that they developed over time and then just, appeared.
However, she had to grin as the woman said she hadn't screamed because she'd been caught off guard. Usually, if someone were caught off guard, that's exactly when they did scream. Surprise, shock, fear, and so on - usually elicited a scream if brought on suddenly. As their eyes met, CC let her sparkling teeth show in a grin and wondered if 'Ell would be looking for fangs and what she'd think when she found none. Though, the fact 'Ell hadn't seen anyone with tattoos before was interesting. There was all manner of information that was interesting, golden nuggets of information that told her all sorts of things about the girl and sorcerers.
Her smile was still on her face as she nodded to the comments about learning, and then she opened her arms and gestured to herself happily.
"Well, you've got me now. I can tell you all about them all. That way, you'll stay safe and protected and alive. I'll look after you. Because I can't have anyone else getting their hands on you and.... hurting you because of what you know and possibly what you are."
She frowned at the thought of that, and felt a surge of emotion running through her where she just wanted to keep the girl safe from harm. This was ridiculous, and why was Pru not getting back to her. Where was that *****?!
"See.... you put a foot wrong. Get found out for what you are, what you know. They'll ******* kill you. Stick with me, I'll keep you safe from them all. Yeh?"

"You are very nice CC but I don't have you. I don't have anyone. At least not in the city. This was a path I was told I should walk alone. I was a little too eager perhaps to begin learning though and I didn't want anyone to colour my view of things."
The vampire had been talking about protecting her and this worried her a little as she hadn't realised she'd need protecting. She wasn't planning on doing anything stupid or drawing attention to herself, which was funny to think now as she'd already gone and done that when she tried to pick the pockets of the man at the back of the queue.
Not wanting to offend CC or make her angry, she made herself at home once more in the seat. Despite knowing the woman didn't want to kill her, she still had no idea what it was that she had planned for her as punishment for her thieving on her doorstep. She fiddled with the glass she'd managed to keep a hold of in the "attack" and set it on her knee, clutching it with both hands. Her instincts were all wrong, even for one that didn't like violence as the glass could have made the perfect weapons in the right hand and she could have smashed it over CCs head. Her naivety suggested that she did in fact need protecting and yet she was so naive as to not realise this.
"I'm not planning to do anything wrong CC," she lifted the glass to her lips, took a small mouthful and returned it to its resting position. "I can't abide violence and would never hurt anyone. That's probably the real reason as to why I did not scream. I wasn't going to fight you. I couldn't. My life was in your hands and nothing I was capable of doing was going to change that."
Stop talking! Why are am I telling her this? I just gave her permission to kill me didn't I. Did I? Or did I just tell her that I'm not looking for a fight. I don't wish her any harm. I don't think she wishes me any either. And yet she tells me there are those that will. Why? Because of what I am? I was born this way. I couldn't help that. I don't need protecting from who I am.
"I don't need protecting," she said with a defiant nod of the head. "I can't experience this world with a guardian at my side. But..." She adjusted herself in the seat, her legs were crossed at the ankles and she looked up at CC with a soft smile. "I could use a friend."

CC frowned and felt the age old anger in her chest writhing as she was told no. People didn't tend to say no to CC and it wasn't something she was used to. As her mind raced over a number of 'how stupid is she' type thoughts as well as 'how dare she turn me down' thoughts, peppered with 'don't need protecting my ***' and 'you're going to die a painful death' thoughts - she felt her eyes stinging and knew they were changing. There was nothing she could do about it and she had no control over when and how it happened, other than keeping her emotions in check as best she could. Whenever one of her emotions heightened to a level, her eyes changed to an ice blue iris, small black pupil and a dark, navy blue that was almost black where the white was supposed to be. It was quite a stunning and striking look - but it was a bit freaky when it happened in front of someone who'd not seen it before.... not to mention, impossible to explain to a vanilla human!
She unclenched her jaw and tried to make her voice sound light and pleasant as she tried to explain just how ridiculous and stupid 'Ell sounded right now.
"'Ell..... You ******* need someone. I bloody well promise you that. These goddamn, motherfucking vampires think they rule the shitting world. Humans - bloody paladins and the backstabbing, cocksucking, poison wielding blood thieves - are all killed regularly to keep us ******* safe. You go poking around, asking shitting question and getting noticed..... and ******* hell, you're noticeable"
She looked the girl over and purred the last bit, just under her breath and then frowned and continued.
"I sensed you were.... different. Others might ******* do so to. And if you ******* won't defend yourself - they'll kill you. They won't even bloody well care, or think twice. If you weren't so goddamn...."
She stopped herself, wondering what exactly to say there or if that was too much, so changed tack.
"I'd kill you - and those like you - without ******* thinking about it. I've done it before, I'll do it again. Fuckers try to mess **** up with my business, my life? Threaten me? **** 'em. They die. Doesn't matter to me either way."
She folded her arms over her chest, narrowing her eyes at the woman and taking deep breaths as she tried to calm herself. Her eyes shining in the light as they travelled over the woman in a possessive manner. In her own head, 'Ell was already hers - and that meant she was in charge and no wasn't an option. Neither was the possibility that someone else might touch her or feed from her. Nope. Hers. No-one elses. Whatever it took.
"In this ******* city...."
She purred, smiling at the woman.
"You are going to need more than a friend. Especially with how you smell, and taste dear. It's quite simply, ******* irresistable. You won't last a bastarding week without me. I promise."

She sat there blinking at the woman as she began to rant and rave at her. She’s never heard anything like it and it made her shrink down in her seat. She’d noticed her eyes seemingly change colour but couldn’t hold the woman’s gaze for long.
Look at your feet! Look away! Predators take eye-contact as a challenge remember? Oh dear. Now she’ll think I’m weak. I shouldn’t have looked away. Hmm…my shoes are…Why does she use that language? So many words I don’t know shouldn’t be there.
She was staring at her feet and noticing the fact that her moccasins were also slightly splattered with her stomach contents. Though it was only the odd bit here and there and it really didn’t show unless you were staring at them as intently as she was.
What am I? Why didn’t she… Oh she hasn’t stopped. I thought she’d stop. She has to stop soon right. I don’t like the way she’s speaking right now.
She shook her head slightly, as she was starting to get a headache. The stress of her evening she’d had so far was getting to her and she was tired. She’d been up with dawn and it was well past her bedtime. She’d planned on going directly to bed having picked the pockets of that last guy and go job hunting tomorrow. She’d already filled out a few applications at places she thought she might be able to work and was waiting more or less to be rejected on the grounds that she wasn’t qualified or didn’t have the experience. That wasn’t going to stop her though. She knew she’d be able to do pretty much anything she turned her hand too and she wasn’t afraid of a little hard work.
Did I hear that right?
She pulled herself out of her thoughts, the emotional outburst of her captor apparently dying down.
Did she just call me irresistible? I think she did. Right after she threatened to kill me. She did didn’t she? She said she’d kill me. Had killed those like me. That doesn’t sound pleasant. I don’t like the sound of that at all. No-one told me I’d need protecting. They just told me to be careful. As soon as I have a job I shall be. I won’t need to be stealing from people to feed myself. I should have gone to that shelter my aunt recommended to me. South West of Newborough. Should have gone there. Instead I decide I want to stay in the heart of the city.
She sighed, her right elbow leaning on the arm of the chair as she then rest her head against the palm of her hand. This was an unusual position for her to adopt but it felt right and helped her to steady her thoughts.
“I am very grateful for your offer. I truly am. But…” she sighed again, not really wanting to set the woman off again. “I cannot accept. I have my own path to walk. I cannot walk it with you at my side. You will colour my opinion.” She looked up at CC, her own eyes full of kindness and hope. “If it would put your mind at ease I could come and see you once a week to prove that I am still here, still alive. And if I get into any trouble I’ll know where to find you. I won’t be looking to put myself in dangerous situations. I promise.”
She couldn’t help but yawn as she finished her sentence. Her words were sincere and it was obvious that despite being frail and quite agreeable in her nature, that she did in fact have her own mind and had quite a clear concept of what the future held for her.

"If you get into trouble - you'll be dead."
She growled, still doing her best to control herself. Then she had an idea, she'd show the girl what she'd be up against out there, on her own. She got up and stretched, bending in half both forwards and then backwards to press her hands flat to the floor. Then she lifted her leg up to her ear, then the other after the first was done. From within her top and her shorts, she removed the daggers she kept there and threw them at the wall where they dug into the wood. Her shoes were still off, or they'd have been kicked aside, and she bounced on her toes a few times.
"Come on. Show me what you've got. You say you're not violent - but I assure you that vampires ******* are and we will not bloody well hesitate if someone or something is a threat to the whole damn secret. If you show me you sorcerers can defend yourselves - fine. You can go. If you can't? Well, you'll have to take me up on my damn offer. Yes?"
Her knuckles were cracked as she dropped her ear onto her shoulder one way and then the other.
"You haven't got a ******* clue what we can do and the powers we have. I'm sure as **** not letting you out to go blundering into the first ******* vamp you see and get yourself killed. Hell - if it wasn't for how damn fine you are - I'd have ended you myself!"
She smirked, and then began to stalk towards 'ell, readying to attack her or fend off anything she might throw at her, curious and truth be told - a little aroused and excited at the thought of getting up close and personal with her again.

CC was limber. There was no other word in Lorelai’s vocabulary to describe her and her actions so for now it would have to suffice. At first she didn’t feel threatened, even though the words were of an aggressive nature. The woman had a way of being both nice and mean practically in the same sentence and it was confusing her. The woman barely knew her and while that didn’t really bother her, it was the level of insistence that left Lorelai with an uneasy feeling. She was used to working as part of a community, having everyone care for one another. They’d welcomed strangers and treated them as family but this was different, at least it felt different to her.
“I don’t understand? You say I’m fine and that that is why you would not kill me and yet then you say I would not last a week upon the streets of this city. I cannot be both okay and in danger? And you know I have no desire to fight you. If you wish to kill me now, you may do so. I shall not fight it, or you. I know you are concerned for me and I appreciate that but you will not change my mind in this. I have to walk my path alone. And if you are telling me that I am not ready and that I will surely die then perhaps I should return home. I may be able to seek further advice as to how I can protect myself without resorted to violence. Or perhaps keep my true nature hidden.”
She would be true to her word and would not move no matter what CC did to her. If she wished to harm her, she would simply have to grin and bear it until such time as she either passed into unconsciousness or until CC relented. Readying herself for what very well could be the end, she closed her eyes, took a deep cleansing breath and waited.
Don't show any fear.
