She could hear the pain in his voice. Her concern for Cai had hurt this man, Judas who wore Cai's face and she felt regret. The woman lowered her gaze. As if she was ashamed with herself before bringing her orbs back to look at Cai. "Sorry" She muttered genuinely, before looking at her backpack -- the back pack that contained all her ritual items. The moss stare was burning a hole through the bag before she brought this moss orbs back to Cai one final time. If this was who Cai was now, she would have to accept it, and Judas.

Then he spoke about the hat, going on about how it was far to confining, the hat always reminded her if innocence when it came to Cai, but now that he no longer wore the hat she could see his shaggy hair, how it was wild and untameable. Perhaps this was going to be his personality now. Wild and untameable, yet somehow that allured the woman. She scoffed at herself, she sure as hell had a thing. She shook her head and cursed herself. This was her best friend she was thinking about. "Well, it looks good regardless." She said with a firm nod of her head. There was no point in arguing with a Telepath. They would always win.

Then he spoke again, giving her all the information correctly. It felt like a stone was in her throat. Cai cared for Mora, now Judas inherited Cai's care for the Telepath. How they would be sad if something happened to her. She blinked and slid the bag back on her shoulder she moved a little forward then her hand going up to Cai's cheek. Resting it there, she did not stroke his skin -- simply let her hand reside there.

"I trust you, Judas." Mora took a deep breath then. The Telepath never lied. When Mora trusted someone, she trusted someone. She smiled then as she dropped her hand from his cheek, and took a step back no longer invading his personal space.

He frowned not quite understanding what exactly she was apologizing to him for. There was no reason for her to apologize. Of course she was concerned for Cai’s well being and it was understandable that she would ask him what she had. His eyes were drawn to hers when she raised them from her ritual bag. Hmm. She looked like she felt really bad for what she had said and he figured it best to set her straight. “No need…” He murmured and ran a hand through his hair, a nervous gesture that would eventually be one way to tell him apart from Cai.

A grin curved his lips upwards. She liked him without his hat? Interesting. He was pleased to know that his decision to ditch the confining thing was a good one. What he didn’t expect was the way those words made him feel. Some unexpected swell of emotion formed inside of him that he couldn’t name. Not yet anyways, because it wasn’t something that he could recall feeling before. “I’m glad that you like it.” Short, simple and to the point.

She did something unexpected then. She touched him. Contact wasn’t something that he was used to, and it usually made him uncomfortable, causing him to shy away and shut down. Not with her though. Judas wanted to bring his hand up to cover her but it was gone before he could. Her touch lingered though, unexpected warmth lingering on the side of his face where her hand had been just seconds before. He missed it, and he wanted it back.

Before she could get too far away from him his hand shot out curling gently around her wrist to stop her from getting any further away from him. It was instinctual, stopping her from moving away from him but it felt right to him and he wasn’t going to question it. “Thank you,” he said genuinely. Two simple words, but they said so much.

Mora's hand slowly lowered to the side of her as she had taken a step back, but before it could rest at the side of her, Cai's arm lashed out, catching her like a fly trap would. His hands were almost warm against her skin. She found herself blinking. Mora was an old, yet compassionate soul. She was so emotive with her words sometimes. She had the ability to sense feelings sometimes, she always had since she was a child. So the odd touch unnerved her. She knew Cai to be wonderful, yet she had never touched him or hugged him. Well she wouldn't have. He used to be with Lia, and she with Dwayne. A long memory past. She knew nothing of this Dwayne. Came in, dropped the bomb that she was married and fucked off. Wasn't that how -most- men came across? She was angry at him. Very angry at him, and if she knew what he looked like -- she'd punch him most probably.

Yet her mossy orbs looked down at the grasp he held on the Telepath. She brought her hand on top of his, trying not to cause Cai to be uncomfortable. She left it there then, testing the waters of comfort. Mora liked close quarters. She longed for warmth. Even now in this situation Mora felt something. Unable to put her finger on it.

"I'm not leaving.." She said finally after a few moments of staring at his grasp. She reminded him that she was not going anywhere, why? She took a side step moments before because she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. There was a fleeting thought that entered her mind. 'maybe he's going to hit you?' But the thought was gone as quickly as it came. She knew Cai would never hurt her, nor would Judas.

"There is no need for thanks." She said, a smile appearing on her lips revealing her pearly white fangs. As she canted her head to the side. Her mane of golden hair falling to the left, and resting on her shoulder.

He didn’t know what had possessed him to grab her. His grip wasn’t hard and if she wanted to she could easily escape him. The palm of his hand felt alive with electricity but it wasn’t painful and it made him reluctant to release her. He didn’t understand what he was feeling. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before and it left him curious, wanting to explore it and try to discover what that feeling was. Whatever it turned out to be he didn’t want to lose it. It had to be her though and it didn’t frighten him. Not like it would have frightened Cai. It intrigued him on many different levels.

He wasn’t uncomfortable. Far from it. It was probably the most comfortable he had felt in well...ever. He couldn’t ever recall a time where he’d felt so at ease in such close proximity to someone else. But with Mora it felt natural, like it was maybe supposed to be that way. Part of him wanted to flee because it frightened him. That part wasn’t used to such things but the other part refused. That part wanted to stay and see if maybe it could figure out what exactly was happening.

“Im glad,” he said quietly. The whole reason that he had even come out here to begin with was becoming a distant memory. The flowers he had sought to retrieve from her weren’t important any longer. Her hand was almost warm on top of his and a fleeting thought entered his mind - did she feel what he did? And if she did, did she understand it any more than he did? The necromancer was tempted to ask her but he didn’t want to ruin this….whatever it was.

“Maybe not, but it’s the polite thing to do.” His hand slid over hers, turning so his fingers could lace with her. Looking up he caught the smile that crossed her face and found himself unable to move, or even draw a breath. Not that he needed to but if he had, he wouldn’t have been able to do it. Her smile captivated him and froze him to the spot. What was she doing to him?

This, this moment right now was strange.

She didn't know what to say or do, Cai -- or Judas, whoever was prominent in Isis mind right now seemed to stop, and simply looked at her with his dark orbs. Yet Mora found herself looking at him also, searching his orbs for something, she didn't know what she wanted to fight but she sought it regardless. Her breath caught in her throat as she exhaled moments later. With her free hand she pushed her wild, tendrils of gold behind her ears before looking at Cai again.

"Then thank you for being polite." She laughed. Zara made her way forward then, dropping the basket at the Telepaths feet, she rolled her eyes. "This is silly." She said to Mora before turning her eyes to Cai inspecting him, before turning back to Mora. "God, you look like your in love Jesus. I can't see this love fest. Makes me sick." Zara huffed and walked away from the two vampires, heading in the completely wrong direction to which they had first come. If she could blush, she would have -- but vampires needed to be alive to blush, instead she stuttered. "Please excuse her, she's new in my service. Sabra recently went back to New York." She gave a light shrug of her shoulders, as if to say 'she'd have to do.'

His hands entwined with hers then, and Mora felt the warmth then, she hadn't felt this in a long time, and she appreciated it. It was comforting. She curled her fingers over his knuckles in an automatic response. Her skin grazing against his. She found herself looking at it, awestruck. Before regaining her composure, she coughed.

"Now we've established I'm not going anywhere. It's getting quite cold, even for us vampires. Where would you like to go, Judas?" The question was simple, but left the door wide open to possibilities. There was always a bite to eat, literally -- or perhaps bullying a Demi-fae into submission. Her favourite activity.

Love.

Such a simple word. And the last thing he would have ever expected to hear. If he had been frozen before, he was even more so now. His green eyes went wide and he found his head turning to look at the human thrall that was Zara. What did she mean? Did she maybe see something that neither he nor Mora did? It couldn’t be that...or could it? Judas didn’t know. He was much like Cai in that aspect - he didn’t really know what love was. Cai had never learned and Judas had been born from hate. Could it be possible? Was he capable of such an emotion? He found himself hoping that it was a possibility.

He let a faint smile touch his lips. “No need to apologize.” There was so much more that he could have added to that but with his mind whirling with thoughts he figured it best that he keep it simple. Besides, maybe it wasn’t like that with her and he wasn’t quite confident enough to go out on a limb and ask her about it. “She seems very loyal?” Lame. But it was all he had at that moment. It would have to be suffice.

“Cold?” He echoed her before he realized what she was asking and quickly regained his composure. “Oh..yes. It is quite chilly out here tonight.” What in the world was wrong with him? All of a sudden he felt tongue tied and couldn’t form a very cohesive thought. It was strange. He gave her hand a light squeeze and turned around, facing the direction from which he came. “How about we go to my crypt and put these bluehearts to good use?” The one thing he was sure of, was that he wasn’t ready to let her go.

It had been a long time since she had the pleasure of watching Cai ritual, and the idea of watching seemed rather appealing. The last time she had seen him ritual was when he was showing her the basics, teaching her how to control the Demi-fae -- make it to her bidding, a smile appeared on her features in recollection. Oh yes, she was excited.

"Oh yes, I have not seen you ritual in a long time." the smile was playful on her features as she returned the squeeze he gave her originally before they headed in the opposite direction that Zara went to, the fae in these woods would not harm her, she was human she was as safe as she could be, unless you found a gangster or two in these parts but that in itself was very rare.

"Shes new, I'm not sure she's loyal myself yet. I worry, she knows about vampires. Swore her to silence. It's just having to teach her things that Sabra already knew, what plants she needs to collect. It takes up too much time." she sighed, and smiled at him. His warm touch lingered against her skin and it make her giddy -- in a good way. She liked this, she'd never experienced it with Cai before, it was new and she wanted to explore it. She didn't want to leave his side, not just yet.
