Looking between the two men, Lyana tried to think of what they could do. It was getting late, and she remembered it took 20 minutes per pound of the turkey to cook. She connected her mind with her phone, and checked to for missed calls or lost texts. Nothing. She grabbed her bags, and hefted them up. "Nah, we shouldn't bother Maddie." She was lost in thought when Simon started speaking. A smile formed on her lips as he let her gather her own conclusion to the nickname, and she could tell by the lack of words to back her up that Adrian sorta agreed with him. Snowflake? She sure hated not having a reflection... Perking up at the aspect of having a place to go, Lyana looked to Simon and smiled happily. She was just ready to get out of this cold hallway. Then it hit her. Neutral place. One she was familiar with. Zodiac wouldn't mind I am sure. It was warm, had a kitchen, seating... Everything she needed! "Ooor, we can go to my workplace. The Pentacle Teahouse. Zodiac wouldn't mind, and I can text her to see if she wants to join us!" Lyana gave off her idea, and left it out there for the other two to decide. "The more the merrier." She shrugged the bags into a different position in her hand. The plastic cut into her palm where the turkey and ham weighed them down. "We gotta decide quick though. These bags are kinda heavy."

Adrian nodded at Lyana. He had never personally met Zodiac, it seemed that Lyana trused her. That was enough for him. Friends of his family were his friends, and so forth. If Lyana was ok with the idea, then he wasn't one to say no. "Let's go, then," he said, smiling.
Adrian turned to Simon. So far, Simon hadn't showed any signs of hostility, so Adrian was willing to trust him a bit. Just enough to have dinner with him though. No way in Hell was he going to trust him anymore than that unless Simon proved to be an ally worth trusting. How he would do so... no idea.
"Why trust him at all?" Courtney whispered in his ear. She walked past him, around his companions. "He could be only acting, and planning to gut you all later."
'Shut up,' Adrian thought. 'Go away and don't interrupt this night. It's supposed to be fun and you won't be helping.' Courtney laughed in response, and faded away.
Focusing back on Simon, he said, "I personally guarantee your rights as a guest of our friends and family. As long as you act in good faith, you will find yourself among friends. Ok?" Adrian knew he wasn't asking for much. He spoke truthfully. As long as Simon was friendly, so would he be. If someone acted unfriendly towards Simon, Adrian would take responsibility.
Turning back to Lyana, he said, "And he's right. Those groceries look heavy. Give a bit of them to us and lighten that load."

"As long as your family doesn't mind it if I burp, fart and crudely joke. Then we're good. Also, Grandma will be happy to see me," Simon said mostly to Adrian as he walked to Lyana. From there he snagged the turkey bag from her without a word. Then he turned and began walking. Unfortunately Simon didn't know where Zo's place was but it didn't stop him from moving. He just picked a random direction to walk in. Hopefully someone would have stopped him from straying too far. "So are we moving or what?"

A bit shocked by his sudden snatching of the turkey bag, Lyana moved over to Aidan, and handed him the ham bag. She took a deep breath and walked to the elevator. She pressed the button and waited for it to arrive. "You could have just asked... No need to snatch." She said playfully. "So gentlemanly of you... both." She nodded to Adrian as well. Lyana saw the light to their floor light up, and she stepped forward. The door popped open, and she stepped inside. She waited for the others to join her, and pressed the button to the lobby. Watching the doors close, she sat back in a corner of the elevator and hummed as the music was something she knew. Or at least sounded like something she knew. When the doors opened up, she saw that it was snowing outside. She bit her lip, and grumbled about not buying a heavier jacket. She stood in the lobby as she accessed her phone, and sent out a mass message to those that she had invited. They were moving the dinner to The Pentacle Teahouse, and she gave out directions to where it was located. She shut down the link with her mind, and sat her bags down. She bundled up, and took a deep breath. Picking up her bags, she looked to the men. "You ready?"

Adrian nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be," he said. He didn't mind the cold. In fact, he never really noticed it much at all. A few years of sleeping in a run-down orphanage, and sleeping just about anywhere else, could do that to a person. Shifting the bag to his other hand, he shuffled his feet. Adrian was anxious to get the party started. He was looking forward to spending time with friends and family, reclaiming the time he lost in the orphanage, gaining some precious memories he missed out on. He smiled in anticipation. He couldn't wait. "So where is this Teahouse?"

Moving in the random direction Simon kept moving as if he knew where the place was. No one had reeled the man in. With the turkey bag in hand he whistled the opening theme to Django (and Django Unchained). At one point as he walked
"Buuuuutttt you'veee lost herrrr, forrreeeverrrrrr Djjjjannngggoooooo. When there are clouds in the skyyyy, and theyyyyyyy areeeeee graaayyyy,"
he always found it hard to resist singing the Luis Balcalov song. Every performer had that one song that spoke to them like a siren. One song once they had it, even if it was self induced, a verse had to be sang. A series of chords had to be played. Something about it made that one song stick out. Even Eric Cartman had Styx's "Come Sail Away," as an musical achilies heel. Simon's was the Django theme. He resumed whistling the song and looked back at the pair.

"It's in the Honeymead district. Inside the mall or shopping center or whatever it's called." Lyana opened the door with her butt, and held it there for the guys to walk out with her. Once they were outside, she hooked her free arm into Adrian's free one. She led them in the direction of her work. She took a second and then looked around. She stopped and twirled Adrian in the right direction. "Come on, Simon. This way!." She laughed as she was sure he was lost in his singing. She had never heard the tune before, and wondered where it came from. Maybe when they got to know each other better she could ask him. For now, they walked towards her place of work. She noticed the lack of air coming from her lips as they walked past others. She stopped and sat her bag down. Pulling out a pack of cigarettes, she offered them up to the two men. She pulled one out for herself, and lit it. She couldn't get any benefit from the soothing feeling they used to give her, but now it reminded her to breath. She picked up her bag after stuffing the cigarettes back into her purse. She picked her bag back up, and continued off towards their destination.

Turning about Simon hurried to catch up with the group. When Lyana stopped to offer a smoke, Simon smiled then with a deft hand he snagged the pack then through them. "We no longer have to worry about these things killing us but they're still not healthy for you. Roll your own or get an E-Cig. Much better for you in either case. Appreciate the offer though," he spoke with a smile then grabbed Adrian's bag. "Shall we continue you lovelies?"
"How are you two doing today?" he asked with a smile as they kept moving toward their destination. Clicking his tongue a few times he asked, "What are your favorite movies? Three things you love to do? Three thing you what to do but haven't yet?" the questions rattled off his tongue while he moved.
Whistling whil moving he looked to the siblings, "What's an embarrassing moment you've had? What's something that you've done that shocks you in reflection?" Best way to learn about a person, how they worked, etc. was to ask questions that sounded like they came off of a psychology cheat sheet. Plus they led to a few good stories. And who didn't like a good story? The chill continued as he moved through the various streets with the siblings in tow. He eagerly awaited the answers.

Lyana gasped as she saw her cigarettes go flying off in another direction. "Hey! Those are mine! That's like five dollars you are throwing away there!" She held her hand out as if he would retrieve them for her or pay her the difference. She finally shrugged, and inhaled from the one she had already lit. "They aren't healthy, but then again they aren't unhealthy anymore either. So why throw mine away?" She bumped into him and smiled. Then Aidan received a phone call on his cell. He whispered something into the mouthpiece, and hung up. Moving closer to Lyana, he kissed her and whispered into her ear. Lyana pouted, but nodded. "See you, Aidan." Lyana moved back closer to Simon as one of her family had bowed out of the Thanksgiving dinner. She wondered how many more would flake out on her. "You still going to come aren't you Simon?"

"I got nothing to do. Mom is away, Grandma is with Zo, brother-uncle Raven aka Quoth is with Mom, so ummmm I've got nowhere else to be," Simon said then hipchecked his friend. "The smoking makes one lungs damaged. We don't know if it can hurt people like us. Plus there's the whole breathe thing. We still need to brush and what not," a grin spread across his lips as he breathed out. "Sorry that your brother had to bail. I will do what I can to make ya smile since he bailed," Lyana had been kind to Simon. It sucked when family had to unexpectedly go so he would do what he could to mend the loss. Those that heard the Call of the Cross were often busy. Heck, Simon was working as the maintenance man at the family home until it filled more.
