Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
"You know what sexy is, Kiwi. maybe not in your head but in your gut you do. It comes naturally to you. Like a fish just knows how to swim, it doesn't stop to think about how to swim." Alexandrea sighed and went ahead and put on the helmet before getting on the bike behind Kira.
"I see your point about running. But I'm never rode on a motorbike before so, no crazy tricks okay? You wouldn't want me to have a technicolour yawn down your back. At least when Kills gets here, we'll be ready to go..."

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
As Killian rode up and stopped, Nix just stood there, staring at the green contraption she was expected to climb on. The little two wheeled thing that was supposed to allow her to be transported from place to place quickly and with... unnecessary amounts of danger? Sounded about right. Bikes were not her thing, and the tailpipe was the least of her worries. She knew well enough how to get on; getting on was never the problem - it was the veritable thousands of ways to end up flying off that had her nervously chewing her lip.
Swallowing her - quite reasonable, as far as she was concerned - fear, the redhead stepped up and, without so much as a minor hesitation, slid in behind Killian. Had she spoken, she feared her voice would have come out an octave too high to be taken seriously. So she opted for silence, and silently preened at the compliment. It'd been a long time since she'd dressed like this, but considering the necessity she'd found in fitting in in her late teens, the leather felt like home. It helped her keep up the air of nonchalant confidence.
The only thing betraying Phoenix's unease was her grip around Killian's waist. As soon as his balancing foot left the ground, her arms tightened further and the Shadow seemed to try to collapse herself against the man's back. As the bike picked up speed, Nix wanted nothing more than to just vanish. Why the hell hadn't she insisted on meeting them wherever they planned to ******* meet!?
What seemed like an eternity later, the bike slowed as it pulled into the Willow Court subdivision. Relief flooded through Phoenix as the infernal bike finally stopped and she, without much care for grace or betraying her fear, removed herself from the bike as quickly as she could manage without searing her leg on the tailpipe. It was only once she was safely back on her own two feet that she looked around, finally spotting Alexandrea and Kira - not that they'd been hard to see, she'd just been too busy constricting Killian to notice.
"Uh... Hi. So, we're killing bikers? Where are they? Are we waiting for anyone else?"
As she adjusted her leather jacket, she took note of her surroundings. Nope, no biker vampires causing chaos and mayhem. Except them.
Spotting the helmets, the Shadow frowned.
"I'm not wearing one of those."

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Enver looked at Robert, not believing how ridiculous he looked. Probably just as ridiculous as Enver did right then and there, but Enver was pretty damn sure of himself. Pretty sure he could pull any look off with the right attitude and the right make-up and he had all those things now that Pratt had given him a few fake tattoos. Enver speculated only certain people could pull off certain looks and Pratt couldn't pull off the detective thing like Enver once had in a flick. He was going to make a note to watch the film later tonight, just to make sure.
"Right. So I think our best bet is to go to that bar and maybe work a couple angles. Maybe they'll talk to another detective, that's you. Or could go the Private Eye way too." Enver pointed to Robert, like the guy would have missed the idea of him being the detective. "If not, maybe work a different angle. Maybe this biker gang's been hassling some of my "boys" and we got wind of the stuff on the news. Looking for leads. Doesn't matter. Whatever you come up with, you've got to sell it, like you actually believe it, mate."
"Ready?" Enver looked at Pratt after he sized the guy up one last time and gave an approving nod. "Meet you there." Enver put the box down on the first table he saw and was gone before Pratt could even reply, standing right outside the bar. Enver swallowed, adjusted his posture to be more slack and then walked in to the saloon, looked around the room and then nudged his head at the bar tender. Enver ordered a beer, grabbed a spot off to the right side and waited for Pratt to do his thing, or wait for Enver to take the lead. Enver didn't care, but he was getting to the bottom of the jerks that was making his side of town go down the shitter.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Kira raised an eyebrow. If sexy was something she just did, it was no wonder she had problems with men. It was bad enough she was completely naive when they were flirting with her, while she had gotten better at figuring that out, unless they were straight forward, she still wouldn't know.
"Well, this is the only thing I do know how to use. And even that Dave had to teach me." she replied, "I'll try to keep the ride easy for you.." she added, thinking about how fast she tended to like to go.
She turned to look at the redhead, "Hi....We're not waiting on anyone else, as far as I know. My thrall and wraith are out looking for them. I seen them earlier.." she said, she couldn't reply on the whole killing thing. She of course would be all for it but that wasn't the goal here.
"Suit yourself.." Kira said about the helmets. "I only wear it to keep my hair from going wild at the speeds I go and I don't need the cops looking for a speeding Britney Spears. Damn annoying."
"Anyway, last time I saw them I was in Coastside...we can try looking out there but I'm sure my thrall is already cruising the place." she said, she thought about where would be the more likely places the bikers might hang out. There were so many bars, but she wasn't sure if they would even be at any of those bars. They have their own special one.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
"Hi Nix!" Alexandrea waved at the fellow Daughter of the Triple Moon from where she sat behind Kira, glued to her friends back. "Hiya Kills!" She was surprised to see the redhead with Killian but glad of it. Phoenix was someone she didn't get to see very often but Alex always had a gas when she was around. The was never a dull moment when Nix was around. The last time the two had seen each other, it was in the deserted bar in the Quarantine Zone. Phoenix had been very determined to... 'relieve' Pi of something. It had been a riot to watch. Alexandrea had nothing against Pi. She just loved to watch a good fight.
"Kill them?" Alex asked the redhead. "Well, if we have to I guess but I think the plan was to try and get them straightened out if we can and if that didn't fly, to cripple them. Then they have to stay put while we drum some education into them. It's not like you learn much in the Shadow Realm besides the truth meaning of utter boredom."
"But let's get this show on the road, shall we?"

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
He nodded quickly to Kira and Alex, before dropping the kick stand on his bike and letting it lean casually while he waited. "Good to see the two of you.. You saw them in Coastside? Well, if they've got any sense at all, they won't be based around there. Anyone that isn't an idiot knows you don't do illegal **** near your home, because that just makes you easier to find. So we can rule that area out, and check it last if we don't find them elsewhere."
He waited for a moment to see if any of the ladies present had an idea on where they should begin the search, with Killian's bet being on finding them somewhere in the outskirts of Moss End or Elmworth, though Elmworth at least, was the location of quite a few upper class homes, and Moss End seemed to be a higher end business section of the city. High end areas like that were the least likely to be searched for bikers, making them the best places to hide. River Rock or Swansdale were the next two districts that he considered, and they actually seemed to be more likely. Out of the way, not exactly close to Coastside, and still along the city's edge in case they needed to slip out to a cabin in the woods or something of the like.
Of course, that was with him working under the assumption that these were smart criminals. There was no reason for him to believe that they actually were, except for the fact that they hadn't been hunted down and killed already. Killian adjusted the pistols that were holstered at the small of his back slightly, making them more comfortable for him, while waiting to see what the women decided on. Nix's comment about not wearing a helmet made him laugh softly, then he just looked at her and shrugged. "You don't need one, honestly. I'm not gonna kill us.
With that, he shifted his weight on the bike, making sure he was ready to ride when everyone else was. Even if the night turned out to be incredibly uneventful, the ride would be fun.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Kira was bored. Educating a bunch of bikers didn't sound thrilling. She knew that was the aim but she wasn't hoping for a completely boring night, some fighting needed to happen. She would have to repeat in her head not to take the killing blow though, crippling was the end result of a fight.
"Utter boredom is right. I rather have my limbs cut off then return to that forsaken dark place." she said. She looked at her GPS for Dave, he wasn't in Coastside now, he was moving up to Swansdale. She wasn't sure if they were smart or not, it might be on the outskirts of town for all they knew or a bar with a hidden bar.
"Yes, let's get this show on the road. Hang on Lexy!" Kira said with a grin and put on the gas, taking off suddenly. She at first didn't realize the woman was screaming behind her because she was being squeezed to death. "Damn, you're going to break my ribs." she said, slowing down. "Sorry, is that better?" she asked.
Wickerbridge had too much traffic, it wouldn't make the best place for the bikers. Newborough, RedWood, maybe Rive Rock would be better. She headed down to Redwood first.
Her phone started to ring, the music singing "I ain't your Puppet. Girl I'm not your puppet. Girl I'm not your puppet puppet puppet. Girl I'm not your puppet"
"Hey, that's Dave. Maybe he found the bikers." Kira said, she started to do things that humans sure shouldn't do while driving anything. She answered the phone, managing to get out where he was at and what was going on before putting the phone back into her pocket. "He has his sights on a couple of bikers. He's not sure if they are the ones we're looking for but said we should check it out." she said, they could get information out of them, she was sure.
Kira pulled up beside the purple van, she saw a shadow inside that pointed to a couple of bikers. She sent a message to Dave's mind to get out of the area. "So Lexy, what's the next move?"

Alexandrea's player said I was free to add the screaming and holding on tightly.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
As the motor bike sped off at an alarming speed, Alexandrea clutched onto Kira for dear life as terrified screams poured out of her despite her efforts not to. When at last the bike slowed, it took everything Alex had in her to not try and jump off.
Kira's question went unanswered because before Alexandrea could reply, Kira was digging around with one hand in her clothes leaving just one hand controlling the motorcycle. Alex screamed louder.
She stopped when she saw Kira was on her cell phone but buried her face in Kira's back so she couldn't see the streets of Harper Rock zooming passed. Alexandrea just nodded when her friend spoke, not even sure what the other blonde had said. Alex wondered if Nix and Killian were behind them but was too terrified of moving to look. She hoped they hadn't witnessed how cowardly she was being.
Being murdered was nothing compared to being road kill as far as Alex was concerned, she had mental images of her body in bloody pieces being driven over by cars and trucks.
She had no idea she had been holding her breath until Kira stopped the bike and Alex let it out. She knew she didn't need to breath (unless she was screaming) but it was a force of habit she hadn't bothered to change, it made it a lot more easy to blend in with humans.
"Next move?" She echoed back to Kira, confused until she looked up and saw the bikers. "Oh, is that them? How do we know they aren't just any regular bikers?"
Alexandrea's arms had stiffened around Kira's torso and it took Alex a few tries to get them to move. Leaning back with a sigh, she removed the helmet and shook out her hair. "I'll be walking home Kira. But right now all I want is a drink. Whether no not those bikers are the ones we want or not, there a great chance that they'll know of the closest bar."
She got off the bike too fast and almost fell, her legs were tingly and felt like rubber at the same time. She recovered quickly however and wearing a huge grin and swaying her hips a little more than usual, Alexandrea walked over towards the two men.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Kira was reckless when it game to her motorcycle, it was another rush that she enjoyed. Course she was sure that Lexy would never ride with her again. She wasn't even going as fast as she normally did. She felt her friend finally let go and get off the bike. She dismounted the bike but did not remove her helmet yet as she pushed the bike along. "Like you really have to walk." she mused. Teleport or speed off, there was no reason to walk. Kira would of course have to take her bike home.
"Need to get a closer look. Hell, they should remember me." she said. She tilted her head a little, Lexy sure had a hitch in her step now. Kira was still pretty clueless when it came to flirting. It was unwanted attention. She pushed the bike after her, kicking out the kick stand and leaned against the bike. It was clear the two were checking them out now.
Kira took off her helmet and shook out her hair. "Hello boys." she said, setting the helmet on her handle bar. It was them, she knew their bikes, the artwork on their arms. "We meet again. You left so sudden.."
"Damn girl, didn't think we'd see you again." the one with long dark hair said, it was pulled back in a ponytail.
"And you brought a friend.." the other said with a grin, this one had a shaved head.
Kira gave a grin, it would have been fake if she wasn't think about what she wished to do to them. She twirled a strand of her hair with her index finger which was pretty much the main flirting thing she knew and did. "We're looking for a good time, a party, drinking."
The pair grinned more. "I think we can manage." the one with hair said, "My name is Max and this here is Hubcap."
Kira smiled, "Know a good bar then? We could use a drink, or two." she said.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Alexandrea grinned up at the pair of Bikers and slowly ran her eyes up and down the pair of them, watching them watch her checking them out. Her smile grew as her eyes moved, as if what they saw was very pleasing. And it was, in a way. She might not have any interest in any man save one but she still knew how to appreciate a nice side of beefcake when she saw one. And the bald one was most definitely a hottie.
As the guys introduced themselves, Alex nodded to both and raised a single eyebrow at the one called 'Hubcap'. Grinning again, she gently bit her own bottom lip intentionality for once, to draw attention to her lips. Playfully, she gave Kira a hip bump.
"Well now, Kiwi... aren't you going to introduce me? Or are you planning on keeping both of these hunks for yourself?" Alex spoke in a deeper voice than she normally would and gave Hubcap a quick wink.
