She was in the bathroom when she emerged from shadows. She'd hidden herself in one of the stalls, sitting herself on the closed lid of the toilet seat. Her head was resting on the closed fist of her right hand, her arm resting on her left knee, her legs crossed. She hated public bathrooms, they were boring places and even the cleanest of them had an odd odour that was just unpleasant to the senses. If others felt the power fade as she did she didn't know and while she could have ended it through an act of violence, she chose not to. Leaving the stall, she started to make her way back to the main area of the club. As she passed the mirrors that never showed any sign of recognising her, she became aware of movement out of the corner of her eye. When she turned to see what it was, being that she thought she was alone and that perhaps a spirit had decided to take refuge with her, she was shocked to find that she was staring at an image of herself. She knew what she looked like through the CCTV images of herself in her homes but somehow this was different, the colour was more vibrant, more detailed. The systems she had installed in her home, while perfectly adequate were not of the best quality. After a moment’s pause, the realisation that she could see her reflection in the looking glass sank in and she moved in closer to it, tapping and lightly scratching at the smooth surface as if trying to prove the image false.
Satisfied the image was in fact of her and that for some reason she was now able to see herself, she pulled away from the mirror and looked herself over. She began running her hands over her hair; hair that she had dyed for the evening’s festivities. She'd been told that people dressed up at Halloween and while she wasn't ready to embrace the tradition whole heartedly and put on a costume, she had chosen to modify her appearance a little in an attempt to join in on the spirit of things. She'd had a salon handle the dying of her hair, as she didn't know how to do that herself and so the result was vibrant; a fact that pleased her greatly. In the coming weeks she'd likely have it dyed back to its normal black but that was a decision for another night. The dress, while being a style she would be comfortable wearing was in white instead of black, with red buttons which she'd colour matched to her hair. The whole outfit was supposed to be more conventional but of course her finishing touches still retained a little of her own style. Her shoes were a pair of high, white wedges and her legs were covered in a pair of sheer, red tights. She wore a necklace Alexandrea had created around her neck and a pair of earrings that matched, though the latter were hidden under her hair. She pulled a face in the mirror, one that showed her teeth and she ran her tongue over them. She'd never seen her fangs before. She'd felt them of course but never had she been able to actually see what she looked like with them. They didn't retract, never had and that was likely part of the reason why she never smiled or laughed any more. She used her thumb to investigate them further as if still not believing the image before.
Hearing the door begin to open however, she was forced to stop what she was doing and return to the main floor of the club before whoever was coming in noticed that she didn't show in the looking glass. It was instinct that made her move so quickly as she'd been dodging shiny surfaces since the day she was turned. A part of her was curious as to whether or not others could see her in the glass or not but she could more safely learn the answer to that in the privacy of her own home.
She approached the booth in time to see Enver on the floor with an unfamiliar female straddling him. The wheel had landed on kiss but the situation seemed to be a little more extreme in nature. She'd never seen people kissing in a public space this way and it made her a little uncomfortable. From where she stood, it seemed the pair were enjoying their moment together and she quickly forced herself to look down at her shoes to avoid having to endure the image any longer.
As the woman passed her by, she not only bumped into her but also spoke into her mind, breaking in upon her thoughts as if they were friends or acquaintances that required some sort of exchange of words to be made. She rubbed at her shoulder as she turned to look at the female as she walked away. Realising that Enver was no longer ‘otherwise engaged,’ she turned her attention back to him as she mumbled something about manners.
For a brief moment, as she looked down at Enver who was still seated on the floor, she thought about offering him a hand to get up. It was true that she didn't like to be touched by others but in circumstances like this, she had been able to offer assistance in the past. She decided against it however and instead bent over to retrieve a few bills she had tucked under a custom made white and red lace garter that she wore high up on her left thigh, her dagger being held in place by a similar looking item on the right side which remained out of sight. Dropping ten dollars on the table before her, she then went about putting the remainder of the cash back where she had got it from.
"Much...fun, you seem to be having."

Robert had popped into the Necro for a nosey, to see what was going on. He'd signed up to have his abilities and company auctioned off, however after he'd gone out of town - the rules had been changed and he'd missed standing on the block. However, he'd spotted his friend had also signed up for a booth of some sort. So now that he was back in town, he was back to see what was going on. He sauntered over to the booth the man were sitting behind and peered around the others there to read the sign. He couldn't help but chuckle as he saw all of the options that were there and he waited patiently for the woman before him to have her turn as he watched the black and purple of the gypsy before her having finished up and disappeared off into the crowd.
He pulled out a crisp note from his wallet and held it in his hand with a slight smirk on his face. He knew what he thought would be the funniest - because could you imagine if it landed on kiss?! That would certainly be something to see for Halloween. A true horror of a thing!

Avery walked into the building. She was cold and needed a place to warm up. That was all she cared about. The human practically ran into the building she was so cold, running into the wheel and almost knocking it over. She frowned heavily as she went down to the floor. Avery didn't need any more injuries, she was still healing from what had happened with her Master.
Her outfit torn, it was a knee length dress, pink with a laced back with matching heels. The girl also had a red collar around her neck. "I...I'm so sorry." She was clearly nervous around people. If she bleed around them, she was most likely down for.

Enver snorted when Zodiac mentioned something about dreaming about her. He'd dream about her alright. On a wooden pole in a blaze of fire. He hated ritualists, especially ones that sent a few bad things his way (not that he had proof, but she was in Tytonidae and they did do a few nasty things his way before when he was in a disagreement with them, so he assumed she was one of the culprits behind it). "Always a pleasure seeing you, Zodiac." He waved a hand as she went off, feeling the dryness of his lips, from what he supposed was her lipstick. He used the back of his hand to rub at his lips (incase she had some kind of lipstick that would give him cold sores for eternity or something) and was about to stand up when he caught a woman in white with radiant red hair. You couldn't have missed her, even if you were half way across the room.
At first, Enver didn't recognize Keara, because how she looked was completely unexpected. He had presumed that if the shadow woman showed up, she would look how she always did. Black hair in dreadlocks, boots of some kind and something he could only describe as cyber goth, he supposed. He was always curious as to why she dressed that way, but he hadn't thought to broach the topic at this time. So when the woman with red hair spoke, the male stopped rubbing at his lips and just stared up at her. Sure, he caught the tone in her voice, but at that second, he blew it off. His eyes moved off her face, to where her hands were; a red garter and stayed there for a little longer then they should have. When Enver realized this, he cleared his throat, then stood up hastily.
"That?" He shoved a thumb over to Zodiac's way before he shook his head. "Wasn't anything. Business transaction, really." He looked away as someone else approached the booth. Enver's eyes narrowed as he looked at Pratt, then at the cash in his hand and gave him a 'what the hell, mate?' look. He wasn't going to let Pratt get in on this, even if the risk of kissing him was quite small. "Wouldn't that ten bucks be better geared towards your cause, Pratt?" Enver took a few steps in the guy's direction and extended a hand to him. It'd been a few good months since they met face to face. "Good seeing you." Enver followed up his thought, hoping Robert would take his suggestion and roll with it once he made the conversation more easy going and friendly.
He was about to take Robert's hand in a firm shake, when he heard a commotion from behind him. Enver turned to see his wheel tipping side to side and a woman in pink. Enver moved quickly to avoid it from falling over and ending the game too early, by reaching a hand out for the wheel once he was next to it. "It's fine." Enver reassured the woman in pink, who he presumed was wearing some sort of costume, just as he was starting to assume Keara was too. "Rough night?" Enver asked the woman when he spotted the tear in her dress. "Give the wheel a spin and I can guarantee your luck will change." He gave the woman a wink, before he returned back to Keara, the male rubbing at his jawline.
"You going out tonight? Other than here, I mean." His eyes flicked down the length of her dress, then her legs and to her feet before they slowly made their way back up her body and locking on her pair of eyes. "You look different." He cleared his throat. "Nice, I mean." He grinned at her, then looked back over to Pratt. "I'd like for you to meet Robert Pratt. Pratt, this is Keara." Enver took a step closer to Keara, in a way as if to block his line of vision and keep the man from having any real conversation with her. "So, you here to give your luck a shot?" He turned his attention back on Keara completely after that question to see what she was going to do.

The booth was suddenly very busy. No sooner had she arrived that another was heading that way, not that Keara noticed him exactly, she could just feel that someone was behind her. That feeling put her on edge and she began to wonder why she said she'd stop by and why she'd felt the need to first check the place out from the shadows. Having picked himself up from the floor, Enver quickly began to explain the situation with the female that had spoken into her mind and while Keara was trying to form a response that was tactful and didn't involve her lying, his attention switched from her to the person behind her.
Distracted by the exchange of words between Enver and someone named Pratt, Keara didn't see the female stumble in and almost knock the wheel over. The noise drew her attention away from the male behind before her curiosity had peeked enough to turn around and face him. She then watched as Enver tried to reassure the clumsy female that everything was fine and that perhaps she might do well trying her luck at the wheel. His flirtatious nature was one she wasn't used to but she assumed that he was using the best of allurist charms to draw in a steady crowd and keep the people happy. Unfortunately for her, this meant that she was feeling more and more uncomfortable by the minute, as being at the front of the queue meant they would be watching her spin the wheel.
Once order had been restored Enver turned his attention back to Keara and Pratt once more. She didn't find the words to reply however as the way he was looking at her stopped the thoughts in her mind from forming into any real reply. For the first time that night she was beginning to regret dying her hair, as she felt that it was perhaps the thing about her that was drawing his attention. As the introduction to his friends was made, Keara turned to greet him. "A pleasure to..." she began, stopping mid-sentence as Enver came between the two of them. His actions made her frown ever so slightly. She didn't like to be considered rude and would have liked to be looking at the man she was addressing. So, in order to rectify that matter she stepped around Enver and nodded to Robert. "A pleasure to meet you it is." Then she turned herself to face the wheel, trying not to have her back to either of the men between which she was standing. "No plans have I for this evening," Keara's attention was firmly on Enver at this point. "And yes. Here to support you I am." She picked the money she'd dropped on to the table and held it out to Enver. "Though mind waiting I do not if Robert first his luck would like to try."

The human shook her head as she looked up at the wheel. She barely had enough money to eat, let alone spin the wheel. Avery frowned, dusting herself off and wincing as she rose to her feet. A small but noticeable cut on her flesh. She frowned, licking it clean but it wasn't enough to stop the bleeding. And the place was getting pretty crowded. She hated crowds. "I..I'm sorry but I don't have enough to spin the wheel, Sir. I just.. just came into get warm. I hope that's okay." The human seemed pretty nervous for some reason.

His eyes glanced over at the woman who came careering in and knocked over Enver's wheels, his eyebrow raising at the state she was in. She got herself up with nothing more than a cut to her arm and Robert couldn't help but feel for her and her pitiful state. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a silk hankie, offering it to her so that she could sort herself out and tidy herself up too. He also pulled out his card and offered it to her with a friendly smile.
"There are rooms free at Solace, for free too. There are hot meals on offer to those in need and we help with getting you into employment and all sorts. You should come by sometime and I'm sure Belle, or one of the other employees, will sort you out."
Robert turned his attentions back to Enver and beamed cheekily at him, shaking his head.
"Not at all. This is my own cash, of which I donate a huge proportion to my own cause, and it looks to me like the charity you're supporting is a good one too."
He perched himself on the edge of the table so that he could see Enver and Keara equally, despite Enver's attempt to block his view - helped when Keara then stepped around him - listening to the conversation. He couldn't help but spot a few nuances in Enver's speech and the way he looked at the woman. Then he remembered the thread called 'to the shadow' or something - and he wondered but said nothing. When she said it was a pleasure to meet him, Robert stood up with a genuine smile, made the sign of the Light to her and made the little ball of light form right in it's centre - with a polite bow of his head.
"Tis a pleasure to meet you too Miss. I've heard.... a couple of things about you"
He couldn't help but cast a glance at Enver as he said that, just to see if there were any reaction there. He shook his head as Keara offered him her positioin and insisted she went first.
"Ladies first, of course. I couldn't dream of taking your position."
And then, he just waited.

Avery flinched as the man brought his hand towards her, offering the card to her. She squinted as she read the small print. It hurt her eyes to read it but nodded towards the man. He had even helped her clean herself up a little. Maybe he wasn't like some of the other vampires she had heard about. He had even mentioned free rooms and a hot meal. That sure did sound nice. Her stomach even growled at the mention of food. She bowed her head towards Robert, always the polite girl. "Thank.. Thank you, Sir." She said and put the card away in her bag though she was already thinking about heading over there once she was done cleaning up the mess she had made her. The black haired girl was always so awkward around new people.

His booth had suddenly exploded. There was a woman he'd never seen before in a costume, then Keara in some costume and Pratt who was more than happy staying where he was. He'd get back Pratt sometime, it was only a matter of time. Especially if it landed on kiss.
He let Pratt and Keara talk, uninterrupted, even if the guy didn't like the idea of it. Even if he didn't talk or put his two cents in, he still kept an open ear on the guy. He turned to the woman who said she didn't have any cash on her, and he pulled out a ten. "Stand in line. It's on me." Enver nudged his head to the back of the line as he put the ten in a jar on the table, as his eyes went back to Keara. He hadn't missed what she said, he was just trying to be a good salesman so to speak.
"Thanks for coming." He said, his eyes moving to the wheel, letting Pratt think he might have been saying it to him, but it had been intended for Keara. "Looks like it's your spin." Enver let his eyes flick back over to Keara after he said that. "You going to check out the other booths? Stick around a while?" He looked away, his eyes back on the woman whose name he still didn't know, trying to figure her out as he waited for Keara to make her move; spin or not. Not really knowing anything more than what she told everyone, the male cleared his throat and decided to shift his focus.
"How's things going at Solace?" Enver looked back over at Pratt, wondering if things were really that good, or if he was here to try and win the big pot. Or just give him ****. It was probably a mix of both, truth be told. "How's things with Ivy? Ran in to her a few weeks back. Or, she ran in to me." He chuckled, remembering how the woman had sunk her teeth in him to try and get a rise out of him and Pratt. When that didn't happen, Ivy hadn't bothered sniffing around Enver again. Everyone said Allurists were the emotional bunch of the vampire group, but Ivy seemed to be a canon of emotions that exploded out of her when she was in her temper tantrum state. "Send her my regards some night if the two of you get together." How Pratt took that, was up to him and not something Enver would dwell on too long.

If the wounded female would stick around, she didn't know but Enver seemed to be doing his best to encourage her to do so, as did Robert. While she held no ill will towards the frail creatures of the city she really was at a lost as to why one of her kind would extend the hand of friendship to one without expecting or wanting something in return. Not that she knew for certain that they had no desires of her, but since they had seemingly just met each other, she couldn't fathom how any real thought could be given to her.
When Pratt greeted her in what seemed to be a well-rehearsed manner, she was a little confused; confused not only by the elaborate greeting itself but also by his words. People seemed obsessed with titles, something she had never understood and while she knew it to be a mark of respect, she much preferred that people call her by her name, and her name alone. Not that she placed much stock in names. Vampires were notorious for changing those as humans would their clothes. One couldn't safely live for eternity if they were not willing to shed their identity every once in a while. A fact that troubled her slightly as leaving this city appeared to be the only one in the world in which a vampire could return if they were slain there, meaning she'd have to find new ways to retain her properties and keep her immortal status hidden, as picking up and moving on was no longer an option.
Having been bid to spin the wheel by both Robert and Enver, she made a step towards it. She really wasn't sure what she doing there and since Enver's friend seemed unwilling to go ahead of her, what with being the sort to let a lady go first, she had no choice but to spin the wheel with others watching. She was aware that Enver had left the money in her hand and chalked it up to the fact that he was conversing with his friend and so she pushed the paper into the jar on the table and stepped up to the wheel. She took a hold of one peg in her right hand, as she ran her left hand along the edge, caressing the finish of it. She cast her eyes over the options once more and prayed that the outcome would read, 'try again next time.' As she span the wheel, using the weaker of her hands, she stood back and watched as it swirled in a hypnotic whirl, the words becoming lines within its heart. When it clicked to a stop, she stood unmoving, rooted to the floor. How on earth was she supposed to harm her friend, even if the weapon was a toy. She'd never used a toy weapon before and had rarely struck anyone she had not intended to kill. Of course she'd made the odd mistake in the dark tunnels below the city when the adrenaline had been flowing through her but then who hadn't?
"I...erm...must I do as the wheel commands?" she asked glancing in Enver's direction.
