If she was able to blush, Alexandrea would have.
"Well perhaps it is just as well for me that it isn't like Marksmanship, considering I'm an absolute klutz when it comes to firearms." Alex gave a slight chuckle and looked at Elliot apologetically. "Cheating. Yes, that is one way to put it. But you guessed correctly. I wouldn't use that ability on... 'my beloved' even if I could. He would hate that. He would feel it was an intrusion." She sighed slightly. 'My beloved'. She liked the sound of that but the thought also made her anxious and she shivered.
But the feeling passed and she laughed gently as Elliot brought up sports teams and not expecting a mall to have a mascot and then looked around as if he could spot Orin near by. "Well, I think of him as the mall mascot. He's that shark in the tank just passed the first aid room and next to the rock climbing wall. Surely you've seen him when you passed by that way? He is actually pretty sweet. For a shark." Leaning close and talking in a whisper she went on; "Of course the fact that I sometimes feed him the heads of the hunters who hate us might have something to do with his pleasant nature towards me."
The waiter happened to return right after that and Alex quickly scanned the take out menu and then placed her order, writing down the address of her shop as the place for the food to be delivered. It would take awhile to prepare such a large order and Alexandrea was sure by the time it arrived she would already be back there after she collected her harp from Elliot's store.
"Are you sure you don't want to try one? Before I eat them all?" She asked her friend as she took one of the last two egg rolls.
