The woman's quiet greeting filled with titles that she wasn't quite sure she understood let her know that this woman was a leader of some sort as Wolfgang was. The chocolate brown eyes smiled as she nodded and said simply. "I'm Sirene West now I guess. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Her tongue tripped a bit on the west part but she managed to get it out and sincerely utter the pleasure part. So far, everyone she had met in the city seemed to be wonderful and helpful. Despite the types Wolfgang had warned her of, she hadn't seen a declasse type of person yet. But assuming that being changed did not in fact kill off the usual human flaws, she understood that this cloud 9 atmosphere would surely change soon. Though she was determined to avoid conflicts. As she had told Wolfgang, she appreciated working in the background and learning more about this new society she had entered before making any kind of a stir.
She might have said more, or exchanged some pleasantries, but the couple that had been walking towards them had finally gotten there and after a few words with wolfgang had turned to her. She gave them the same smile and nodded at Lyonel and Eva.
"Thank you for the welcome Lyonel and I do hope its not to wild." Underneath the polite woman was a firecracker at times, but now was no the moment to brag or show that side of herself off. She gave a small laugh at Eva's comment and tried not to think of the woman's comment too hard.
"No, Wolfgang has been wonderful so far." She wasn't sure if the woman had meant something else by her comments so she figured it was safer to leave it alone and stay quiet while the rest chattered.

Re: Forever is not long enough (Daniel and Ever wedding Invi
Decklyn didn't give a **** about what most people thought of her. She wasn't put on this earth to please others or to make sure their wants and needs were fulfilled above her own. She didn't care if people thought she talked too much or curse too much. She didn't care that most people didn't approve of the fact she had her own agenda. Yes, she has her own agenda. Decklyn was her own person and was loyal to those she felt deserved her loyalty. Going against the grain and being the odd one out, well, that was just the kind of person she was. The opinions of those who didn't interact with her on a daily basis were worthless and she was above giving those people an inch in her life. It wasn't like she grew up angry and unable to trust those around her. No, that wasn't the case of all. But she didn't freely give her life to anyone without reasons.
What did this have to do with now though? What did this have to do with her attending this wedding? Nothing at first. She was just there to attending the wedding because an invitation was handed it out to her along with everyone else in the West line. Of course, she's never gone to a wedding for anyone in Worthington or Dragomir. But that was mostly because she knew there was no welcome mat for her. Who in the hell from them would actually extend such a wel-Oh, well. Chad probably would now that she thought about it for a second. He was a different kind of man though. He was always sweet to her. She ran into him a couple weeks ago in the city while she was just...walking along and doing her own thing because that's all she does. He greeted her and hugged her. A part of her felt bad for completely cutting ties with the line but...eh. When you have a man like Wolfgang West at your side...
The first thing she caught was the faint scent of cigarettes on his clothing, which made her chuckle. He needed to take the edge off. Perhaps she would do the same in a few minutes. Waiting for this wedding was getting increasingly annoying. When would it start? No body knows.
Back to Wolfgang West though!
Yes, the handsome fellow had ditched the others and took a seat next to her, taking her hand squeezing it after he asked her how she was holding up. Did she really look that pitiful, sitting in the back, waiting for a wedding that seemed to never want to start? Probably. That, and you know, deep deep deep deep down in the darkest parts of her heart, Decklyn wished she was walking down the aisle to get married too. But that was just a far off dream, one that wasn't going to be true very soon at least. Bringing his hand up, she kissed the back of it lightly to make sure no lipstick transferred onto his skin. "If this wedding doesn't start soon, I'm just going to say '**** it' and leave. No offense cause I know this is our line and all, but ****...this is going to be a long *** wedding," she whispered, not wanting to upset anyone around her...though it was only her, Wolfgang, and the sexy dude sitting a little further down.
Now going back to the beginning, there was only one person whose opinion she cared about and he was sitting right next to her holding her hand. She loved Wolfgang with all of her heart and was loyal to him without boundaries, which transferred to her being loyal to the West line as a whole. When Eilidh had left, she didn't leave her childe to anyone of the Dragomir/Worthington line. NO. She left her with Wolfgang. She gave him the duty of looking after Decklyn and has been doing a mighty fine job at it if she said so herself. The man has done nothing but take care of her. He's been by her side through the ups and downs, the rights and wrongs of her path. When she disappeared from the public eye, he made the first contact. He was going through a rough time yet he still made contact with her.
It didn't get any better than him.
"How are you holding up? Longest wedding ever, say it with me now," grinned Decklyn, winking at the man.

They needn’t worry, the would be no repeat performance of the last wedding where he had got up on stage with the band and cracked out an old Elvis classic to the newlywed pair. The memory would probably follow him forever or as long as Eva kept reminding him and though it was a somewhat fond memory, he still didn’t really like how unsettling and nerve-racking being up there in front of all of them singing had felt.
Wolfgang felt Decklyn lift his hand and press a kiss to the back of it as he watched the rest of their line up ahead. She mentioned something about the wedding being a long one and though much time hadn’t passed yet he could understand her feelings towards such. Sitting down the back trying to remain out of sight, out of mind would see the minutes turn to hours, that and the wedding party hadn’t arrived yet and weddings always tended to feel slow. “You think this is bad,” he smiled. “I once spent fourteen hours at a wedding. Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice, so were the people, but weddings just… aren’t my thing,” he winked.
There was a short pause and then Decklyn must have realised the faint trace of ash and smoke that had followed him in from outside. She asked how he was holding up to which he answered with a new smile, a warm smile. “I’m happy for Ever. She is nice girl, sadly a girl I don’t understand, or perhaps we would have a stronger relationship than the one we have now, but at least, or perhaps… If she sees me here, she will know I support her decision and respect her choices.”
He thought of Ever then, the girl he had turned during a darker time in his history as a Vampire. Dia had just the line and Wolfgang had felt like control was slipping through his fingers, not control of others but himself; he was turning into someone he didn’t recognise and he thought changing Ever, making her a Vampire, would somehow fix that, as if she could replace the childe he’d lost. Ever would probably never forgive him, but slowly and surely, he was trying to take the hard road to redemption.

Re: Forever is not long enough (Daniel and Ever wedding Invi
“Stop fidgeting,” came a voice, causing Ever to noticeably jump as she was torn rather violently from her thoughts. Aeri stared at her, eyes widened tenfold at her reaction, not used to being near those that were so...tense all the time. Her green eyes just lingered on her, waiting for Ever to calm down, relax back into the chair, and resume looking at her reflection while (presumably) deep in thought.
“Really, you're worse than any other I've seen in a long time,” came another voice, this one disembodied from somewhere behind her. Erys, the ever faithful wraith lurked, unseen but always there.
“Not helping...” came a grumble beneath her breath as her eyes returned to her reflection while Aeri set to work.
I'm getting married today... she thought, the nerves alive in her stomach while she sat there, Aeri's movements fairly unnoticed, everything in her mind going too fast for her to see much else. What if this isn't what he wants? What if he changes his mind? What if I get there and he's not there? What if I'm not what he wants? What i-
“Ever.” This time the voice was stern as Aeri “accidentally” yanked her hair a bit. “Keep picking at that chair and it'll fall apart. Relax. Breathe. You're getting married, not going to your execution.”
A sigh tumbled free of her lips as she nodded, hands finding themselves clutched tightly in her lap to keep from picking at the upholstery in her nervous tick. Spinning her away from it left her staring blankly at Aeri's movements, only ceasing when she was told to close her eyes. A cloud of powder then hung about her, something being applied to her eyes as her own movements had been too shaky from nerves to manage much. Makeup finished, Aeri merely shifted behind her to finish the hair, going with the only direction Ever had given her:
“Daniel likes curls so...mostly down?”
It didn't take long to tame the natural curls, pinning them up with a vintage hair comb, the detailing matching the dress that hung on the door some feet off. Being led away without so much as a glance at the mirror, she was helped to undress and slip into her dress, Aeri careful to keep her eyes away from her form to give her privacy. Each button was carefully fastened and then her skirts and train were laid out behind her. Shoes were stepped into, she was allowed a glimpse at herself, a shaky breath escaping as she hoped it was what Daniel wanted, beginning to fidget again.
“Ever, relax,” came the French lilt of Erys once more.
Another breath and, without thinking, she teleported herself to the location, and let herself in. The music started, and her eyes closed for a moment before her steps carried her to the end of the aisle, unable to look up at Daniel just yet. Another beat, and she forced herself to move forward, feeling the eyes boring into her and glad (for what had to be the millionth time) that she no longer held the ability to blush. Slowly, her eyes crawled further up the aisle toward the alter, toward Daniel, the nerves getting worse and worse the closer she got to looking at him until they finally hit his form...
...And everything else sort of faltered, melted away. The people witnessing the event had vanished, the world around her vanished. All that remained was Daniel, a smile tugging at her lips as the nerves ceased and everything fell into place.
This was what she wanted.
This was what she needed.

Re: Forever is not long enough (Daniel and Ever wedding Invi
The suit felt tight on him, despite the fact that Athan had assured him that he looked fine and that the suit fit fine, Daniel could not help himself. The beginnings of fidgeting were about to happen, when he...felt her. Eyes cast to the top of the aisle, music began, though he only barely heard it as every fiber of his being was focused on the woman he was about to spend the rest of eternity with.
While he had stood there, at the alter, there had been a fear that he would not be what she wanted. That she would have a doubt and change her mind. There before, their family and friends he stood there and wondered if she wanted this, if this was what she wanted. Could he be everything that she needed, everything that she wanted?
Like a breath of air after years without taking a breath, she was there and he knew he had been wrong. That all of those doubts back been unfounded. The smile that was now on his lips, was for her and her alone, just like his gaze now was and forever will be. His hand reached for her own as she neared, the desire, strong and near overpowering to kiss her and hold her, was there but he somehow managed to control himself. If just barely.
Now that they were both there, it was time to get the ceremony going. A human priest, stood before them prepared to conduct the ceremony. Even though they were to be bond to one another forever in a vampiric ritual, that did not mean they would forgo the human aspect. Daniel wanted to be bond to Ever in every way possible. Married legally in the human world as well as bond by a ritual in a supernatural ceremony.
“Friends and family, thank you for joining us today to watch the union between Daniel and Ever,” his voice was full of love and happiness for the couple before him. “Love is not something to waste, or squander. It is a precious gift that should be cherished and nurtured for the gift that it truly is,” he looked between the two who had yet to look away from one another. “These two people have such a love that will withstand the test of time and wish to express this love and devotion to one another in the most amazing of ways. Marriage,” he paused for a moment before he looked out to the crowd. “In the wishes of the couple they have prepared their own vows that they wish to share with one another and those here to bare witness.”
For a long moment Daniel just continued to gaze at Ever, before he finally found his voice and spoke from his heart. “As a boy, I never thought that I would find anyone who could love me. I was awkward, sickly and someone who was never supposed to live in this world,” he paused to gather himself for a moment. “As a young man, I was shy, a nerd and thought that my asthma would do me in before I had a chance to find anyone and lost myself in the books of fantasy. Then as a man, I came to believe that there were no princesses and even if there were any I was the furthest thing from a knight. What woman would ever want me?” another pause, his eyes glanced away for a moment, then back to her own once more. “Then you were there, a kind face with some advice to a man who thought his life was at it's end. At a second meeting you fell into my arms and smiled at me,” his voice broke a bit with emotion before he continued. “It was like a page from my books. A woman fell into the arms of a stranger, who they would eventually love and now marry. Each moment of my life has improved ten fold from having you there with me. I want only to have the chance to do the same for you, now and for the rest of our time together on this world....” he smiled and let himself fall silent as he waited for her to speak her vows to him.
