"Well, I'm always up for kicking *** and taking names," Viv said, crossing her ankles. "If you'll all excuse me, I need to run back to the apartment for a few supplies of my own." She smacked Enver lightly on the shoulder, winked at Killian, and stood. "I can't believe I left the house without my sword, to be honest..."
With that, she hurried out of the cafe, down the street, and to the Beta Towers apartment building, hurrying into the quickly-closing elevator and smacking the button for the second floor. The young pair in the elevator with her was so completely human, she couldn't resist giving a fang-baring grin. It had been so long since she felt this enthusiastic. The pair all but ignored it, probably brushing her off as just being an Anne Rice nutso fan. Which she was, just not to the point of paying some dentist a fortune for fang implants.
On the second floor, Viv dashed to the apartment and started packing a purse with random things before strapping her sword to her hips and flinging the purse onto her shoulder. She ducked into her bedroom, stroking Baby's head lightly.
"It'll be fine, sweetheart," she told the reptile. "I won't be gone too long. Leave ***** alone, yeah?" As she said this, she dropped four small mice into the terrarium for Baby to eat. She then left the apartment, reentered the elevator, returned to the first floor, and hurried along back to the cafe, ignoring any and all unusual looks at her and her sheathed sword.
Finally, she returned to her seat in the cafe. "Sorry it took so long, guys. Had to feed the snake and all that."

A simple nod from the man was how he responded to Vivianna's comment about needing to run home to get things. Once the ladies had been introduced to the man, he removed the pistol from his lap and set it directly on the table. His Irish accent was light, as if he were trying to mask it, when he spoke. "Sorry, can't be too careful around here. Everyone and their brother seems to want me dead these days. But, as Enver said, I'm Killian. Pleasure to meet you ladies." He took Madison's hand firmly in his smooth grip and shook it.
His attention turned to Enver then, and instead of his formerly cold demeanor, a smirk crossed his features. "Well, man, glad to know that. Unfortunately, I've gotta put them through a light trial run to see just how well they'll be suited with the rest of the group."
Then, finally, Killian's attention turned toward Alexandrea. The friendly smirk that he directed toward Enver disappeared, replaced with a genuine smile. Pearly white fangs glinted in the cafe's light for a moment, before he started to speak. "Alright, I'm assuming you're the one with the plan for tonight. So, what exactly did you have in mind? I've brought enough weaponry to arm everyone, in case it was needed, and a few explosives just to mix things up and add a little bit of flare to our fun tonight. If needed, I can come up with a battle formation on the fly in case the cops show up and we'll walk away from this without a scratch, and brute force is also one of my specialities."
Vivi got back and he smiled to her, then nodded at her words. "Oh, no problem at all. Just in time to find out what's on the agenda for tonight. I just personally hope we do plenty of killing, but that's up to Alex here. Also, since the three of you have been introduced, yet.. Alex, Madison, this is Vivi. Viv, that's Alex next to Enver, which should narrow that down as to who Madison is."

Smiling and nodding pleasantly as all the introductions were being made, Alexandrea was of two minds. On one hand, the more people who knew what she was planning the better the odds were of one of them getting caught. On the other hand, with this much help maybe they could blow up more than just the gate...
Killian's remark to Enver got her attention and excited her. She had heard rumors about a group that was anti-masq for months and had tried to find them but had always failed. Could this be them? If there was any chance that they were, Alex would love to join them.
She found herself the focus of Enver's pal, Killian and returned his smile. Her eyes twinkling with excitement as he spoke about more explosives. The night was getting better and better...
Giving Madison a sidelong glance, she nodded and then leaned closer across the table to speak softly to Killian and the others.
"I also have several bombs. I have been preparing for this... little project of mine for quite some time. I just needed a few extra hands. And... to get my nerve up." She looked around for a brief moment, slightly concerned that someone might be paying too much attention to the group, but then quickly refocused on the other vampires at the table.
"I want to blow up the gate at the Quarantine Zone. And maybe a few of the walls too, if we have enough explosives and hands. Let all the undead critters out to play. Let's see Crow explain that away... maybe at last the humans will really believe that there are more things going on in this city than those pro-masq want them to think."
She paused at looked at Enver. "I'd been toying with the idea for months when you had you little... accident. Forgive me for saying this but I had so much fun that night that I knew I just had to finally get off of my butt and try to do this or I'd regret it forever that I never had the courage to at least make an attempt."
Turning her attention back to the others at the table, she concluded her explanation of her plan. "I have just under a dozen of my bombs hidden in stash I have in the alley behind the Morgue. I also have a plan for providing a distraction. I have celerity so I'm pretty confident I can get away before the cops show up. That will allow the rest of you the chance to set the explosives in place and get away before I trigger them to go off."
"My idea for distracting the guards, so you can get the bombs in place without being seen, is simple. I will be on the roof of the Morgue with a boom box and the detonator doing a strip tease not only with the loud music to help me get them to keep their focus on just me... but also using my Allurist's abilities to captivate their attention. Once I get the mental message from Maddie that the rest of you are in the all clear, I'll set off the explosives and run for it."

Re: When the walls, come tumblin' down... (PM for invite)
Blow up the QZ? Enver had to think about it for a good, long minute as everyone was jabbering away. Doing something that extreme could be a bad thing, but a good thing too. It'd give everyone who worried about every little thing everyone else was doing a break from being in their business. They'd have to clean up the "mess" so to speak. And it'd create some kind of chaos and Enver wondered what and how this Fae Crow would react to it.
"Me?" Enver tilted his head in Alex's direction wondering how she got this idea off him. As she went on to explain a situation that had been painstakingly hilarious, Enver felt himself grinning wide. Not many people admitted to getting any sort of ideas from his usual series of misfortunate events. Be it pride, or his ego, the second Alexandrea tied him to her idea, Enver didn't waste any more time thinking about the good or bad of this idea. "Sounds like it'll be one hell of a night. Count me in, Miss Alexandrea." She had been his "wingman" a time or two before, no way he'd bail on her now. Especially when she was going to get initiated off one of his accidents. She was practically paying tribute to him!
"We'll need to be quick and quiet. I've heard theres Feds hanging around there lately." It was his only concern and piece of advice for his friends.

"Quick and quiet? Are you kidding me? I brought these weapons with the plans of them being used, and dammit, I'm gonna be having some fun." Killian smirked and pulled one of the assault rifles from the bag, then put a magazine in the receiver and pulled back the charging handle, making sure a round was in the chamber. The man was locked, loaded, and ready to go.
In fact, he was so ready for this that he nearly jumped up to get out of his seat. The bag was quickly slung over his shoulder and he made for the door. The plan currently forming in his head was to provide covering fire from a concealed, elevated area with a low wall. The roof of the Morgue would be the perfect place for him to provide overwatch of the gate. After that, if needed, he would hit the ground and provide mobile cover as well. He wasn't aware of Alex's ability with a ranged weapon, nor Enver's, and he knew for certain that Vivi preferred to get up close and personal in her endeavors.
The Killer was standing at the door impatiently, tapping his foot after a moment while he looked toward the table where his two friends and his new acquaintance still sat. He called out to them a moment later. "C'mon guys, I wanna go shoot someone in the throat!" left his lips in his Irish lilt. A few of the people around the café looked at him like he was insane. One person started to lift a phone to their ear. He noticed it out of the corner of his eye, and was making sure they weren't about to call the cops. "This game of paintball is gonna be a blast!" He hoped his friends caught the double entendre that he'd added in his attempt to cover their true goal of the night.

Re: When the walls, come tumblin' down... (PM for invite)
Enver took the lead on introductions and Madison's eyes flit from person to person as he introduced them. Her brow knit slightly when the actor mentioned their 'thing'. She had no idea what he meant by their 'thing' but it made her curious to what it was and what about herself that would make him think she was a good addition. Throwing a sidelong glance at Alexandrea, she stayed quiet, hoping that Enver would explain what the 'thing' was but to her disappointment he didn't. Instead he got back to the present task and reason they were all together.
The third blonde spoke up next. She looked younger than Madison, at least in the terms of human years. Probably no older than twenty years old, if that. The girl, Vivi, gave an affirmative answer to Enver and then quickly excused herself from the table to run back home. It surprised Madison that any vampire would leave their home without a weapon, she never did. It had become routine for her to load the guns she carried, re-up the extra ammo she carried on her and to slip a few blades into hidden sheaths. Pale blue eyes followed Vivi as she stood and moved to the table but returned to the others as soon as the girl had gotten to a point where Madison would have had to turn her head.
When her gaze had returned to the others, she immediately noticed the gun that Killian had placed atop the table. Her eyes widened at the sight and her head to from left to right to gauge the reactions of any humans around them. How nonchalant he seemed about the act and speaking of things like explosives in the middle of the internet cafe. No one was paying them any mind though, at least none of the humans. For sure any nearby vampires could hear what they were speaking about which would not bode well either.
Alexandrea didn't seem to care much either though she spoke in much lower tones than Killian had. The whole conversation was starting to make Madison uncomfortable and she shifted in her seat to cross one leg over the other to keep it from bouncing anxiously beneath the table. It was one thing to discuss these types of things in a private abode or even in the darkened corner of an alleyway but out in the middle of a crowded cafe was not exactly her cup of tea and the more Alex explained, the more nervous Madison became.
She wanted to say something, to voice her concerns but the words didn't come out of her mouth. Her lips never even parted to speak. As unsure as she was about if she actually wanted to participate in the act, Madison really wanted to see the aftermath. In fact she was wondering exactly how much of a punch the explosions packed. Surely the morgue would take some damage and probably the buildings just south west of the gate. Depending on where exactly they put the explosives, the Under Sec Office may take some damage too.
Enver's voice snapped her out of the visions in her head. His only concern was that there were more government agents around lately. Why that was a concern didn't seem to make sense. With the amount of vampires that went in and out of the quarantine zone, jumping over walls, walking over the river or taking the sewer, a group or individuals walking along the outside or inside of the wall probably wouldn't bring too much extra attention, at least not until the area they had been in exploded.
The person who worried her most was Killian, who was again pulling guns out in the middle of the cafe and exclaiming quite loudly that he intended to use them. Madison almost facepalmed but instead watched the reactions of the humans around them who were now quite alarmed. Killian made it worse as he dashed for the door, shouting about how he wanted to shoot someone in the throat. Finally it seemed to click in his head as patrons of the cafe started pulling out cellphones and he tried to cover his tracks by claiming that the group was going paintballing.
Madison sighed, looked to Alexandrea and pushed a thought into her friend's mind, "Are you sure these are the people you want to do this with. Loudmouth is going to get the cops called on us before we even have the chance to leave the cafe."

Viv smirked at all of them. Violence had never been in her nature - not until she was turned and found the superior strength of this new life coursing through her body. Murder had then come easily to her.
"Are we done talking yet?" she said simply. "I'm itching to get a little flexing going. This place could do with a little more excitement."
Her right foot tapped under the table as she waited, hoping that she would be told of her own involvement in this whole plot. She was eager to destroy something.

Re: When the walls, come tumblin' down... (PM for invite)
As Alexandrea had outlined her plans, the mood across the table shifted back and forth with all of the vampires there. Her fellow allurist and friend Enver, seemed to be the one that wavered back and forth the most. Until Alex had reminded him of how much fun they had all had the night his car had crashed into the gate at the Quarantine Zone. She could tell by his wide smile he was remembering and knew he was going to agree to help before he even said out loud to go ahead and count him in.
Alex's best friend, Maddie, seemed more hesitant about the idea now than she had before and Alexandrea wondered if the present company had something to do with it. She knew Madison was alright with Enver but perhaps his bringing along two new faces that neither of the high school chums knew had made her change her mind? Alex hoped not.
The third blonde... Vivianna was harder to get a feel for. Alexandrea wasn't sure she was even paying much attention to the plan while Alex had been explaining it. But it was hard to read new people. Usually. There was no mistaking the other new vampire, Killian's, mindset. He seemed very gung ho about the idea. Maybe even too much so? Alex pondered these thoughts quietly to herself until her train of thought was cut short by Enver's comment:
Killian got up quickly and went for the door, loudly calling out to them his want to shot someone in the throat. Alexandrea swallowed hard and looked with wide eyes between Madison and Enver, trying to get a bead on what her two friends thought about this behavior. Killian tried to downplay his statement by following it up with a comment about paintball guns but as Alex looked again at the faces of the other patrons in the Moonlight Cafe, she could tell that not all of them were buying it.
Maddie's soft voice was in Alexandrea head in the next moment, and her friend's wisdom had Alex chewing her bottom lip in concern.
Vivianna questioned if they were all done just talking and ready to move, which gave Alex the opening she needed to try and regain control of her plan.
"I'm sorry if it is taking too long but I feel it is important that we are all on the same page otherwise, the chances of something going wrong are just too high." Her low was too low for humans to hear but she knew the vampires at the table beside her could. To Killian she sent a message into his head.
*Forgive the intrusion on your thoughts, Killian. But I think we have had a miscommunication happen at some point. Enver's right about the way I want the plan to go. In and out quickly and quietly. The excitement will happen. But not until I know that everyone helping me is in the clear.*

He got out a gun and Alex's smile began to fade as she quickly looked around into the startled faces of the humans around them. Oh dear..."We'll need to be quick and quiet. And if we can get that Killian to take a chill pill, maybe he would still be able to join us. But to just go in with guns blazing? Not what I had in mind at all... I wanted to get us all in and out quickly and will as little chance of being seen as possible...* Alex ended the mindspeak with a short shake of her head."Are you sure these are the people you want to do this with. Re: When the walls, come tumblin' down... (PM for invite)
Enver shot a side long glance over at his buddy Killian as he pulled out a gun, talked about shooting someone in the throat and then howled in laughter. That was Killian. In your face, while the rest of them tried to do things a little more discretely. To each their own, but Enver tried to do things smartly, or what he thought was the smart way. But now that he thought about it, the Crow always made it seem like he was out doing something real nasty against vampire society, just because Eskoph chose him to be his right hand man. Once he tried to helped some people by having a go at a fadebeast and soon he was racking up a huge bounty and then was killed in a duel. He didn't really care about helping the city, as much as he cared about how bad it was to have a fadebeast sitting in his theatre when it came to making money and keeping a good rep against the other theatre in town.
Water under the bridge, but Enver hadn't forgot how he did something that was deemed "good," and got a nice big bounty for it. That's when he knew Eskoph was right beyond a shadow of a doubt. So maybe discretion didn't matter because in the end you were fucked one way or another. "Coming ladies?" He flashed a grin to the women that were going to be accompanying Killian and him for the night, even though he knew Alex was in. "How about we wait to shoot someone until we get outside?" Enver patted Killian's shoulder just as the guy covered his own *** by talking about paintball. "I'll see you guys outside." He was dying for a smoke anyways and wanted to get the group moving. Sitting around talking wasn't getting anything done. Far as Enver could tell, Alex was in, he was in, Killian was in and so was Madison. Viv he didn't really know but as time went on, she was getting quieter and quieter. She might bail.
Enver shrugged, not caring one way or another. He stepped outside and lit up a cigarette after pulling one from his hard pack. He pulled out his phone and shot Hannah a text, asking her for some of the home made specials she made. Having a science major as a thrall had its benefits.

Re: When the walls, come tumblin' down... (PM for invite)
Killian laughed at Enver's reaction to what he had said, and as his friend was walking out the door, the Irishman turned, and a pop sound was heard around the room, followed by what would certainly be a yelp of pain.
Killian had just shot Enver in the *** with a paintball.
He just grinned to his friend, then waved the realistic looking paintball marker to the other people that had been at the table. "C'mon guys, are we gonna go play paintball in the woods or not?"
While Killian may not have always been the most discreet member of Fifth Column, he wasn't stupid. In fact, the man had been planning ahead when he brought his paintball marker, and knew that he was going to use it at some point. It would draw attention to them at the start, before easing suspicions. The five of them would have an alibi in each other should they get caught, as well as a larger amount of people that clearly heard talk about them having a paintball match, with visible usage of a paintball marker in the building. And the bag that was slung over his shoulder would most likely be thought of as gear for the adventure that the group would be undertaking.
It was, of course, but not in the way of masks and armor. He waved to Viv, Alex, and Madi. "I'll be outside with Enver, ladies. I can't wait for this game of girls versus guys." With a salute, the paintball marker was hung from his shoulder and the man stepped outside to join his friend. Seeing Enver with a cigarette caused Killian to slip a pack he had found on the street from his pocket and place one of the tubes between his lips, with a lighter's flame reaching the end of it a moment later.
He waited until Enver was off the phone before speaking. "Starting to figure out that discretion, while advised, doesn't make a lick of difference in the end, huh? Yeah, I could see the look all over your face mate. I'm sure it was on mine when I figured it out, and I know for a fact it was on Robert's, because I was with him when he realized it."
