Hello everyone! I've been lurking in the shadows (which I believe fits in with my character path pretty well) for the last week since I joined, just getting myself familiar with the grid, all the wiki information, and reading all the great posts in the forums. This certainly looks like a thriving community with plenty of creativity floating around.

I play/have played several MMORPGs, so the gaming aspect is slowly starting to sink in. However, I'm looking forward to getting more active in the role playing side of things soon, once I've fully created my character's backstory. I have role played quite a lot in the past, although it has mainly been through private in-game messages, so I'm excited about the greater group interaction that this game seems to provide. Some of my previous in-game role play story-lines have lasted several years, so hopefully I'll show commitment!

Many thanks for the help that I've already received, and I look forward to getting to know more of you in the near future.
