I completely agree, but FRET NOT! Text is always my achilles heal and that's basically why I said eff you to the text and don't anymore. It's something I really need to master.

I know dafont.com has really good fonts to pick from, but sometimes they're so stylized that they really don't even work for banners. Where else do people get free fonts from? =_=

Yeaaah. The font was pissing me right off. I might edit it later after I find some new ones - or go without!

Honestly, my husband and I use dafont for all of them. There are a lot of nice ones there. You can also try 1001 fonts, but I haven't. I've just heard it's decent.

Little something for Seiji after his turning. The writing is referring to how Jaxon always calls him 'monster' or 'seiji-monster' :3 Was testing out a new border idea~


And something for a future character after i kill off christof. The guy in the center is him, and the rest are his bandmates :3

I need to check that out. I will and I'll let you know what the 411 is. =_=

AND! I use CS6 and use varying levels of noise reduction, layered with texture layers that I sometimes smooth out AND gradient maps. that's usually my formula. I need to look for more texture, abstract images to use for graphics, because I don't have enough of them.

LOVE the border you did. I can't use them correctly, like font, so I don't allow myself to use them.

Thanks! I just used a inverted selection and a really big eraser on gimp to fade the first part out abit, then again on a farther in bit and put something pretty behind it :)

Also DAMN those are amazing...

I didn't mean to be mean. Honestly, it's very difficult for me to like font.

You'll notice almost every banner or image I make has no font on them because it is extraordinarily difficult to make text look good on banners.

I use dafont.com and Photoshop CS3.

CS5 was my favourite, but it kept crashing and so I had to revert to an older version. v.v

You guys make amazing banners, so I certainly wouldn't fret!

Keep at it with the fonts, or just neglect them. I do. >.>
