There was a problem with chapter balancing when it came to crow eyes VS electromagnetic emitters, which has now been fixed.

The eyes were much easier to craft, and were level 6 crafting items, whereas the emitters had very rare ingredients and were level 9. To fix this, we've kept emitters as the harder crafting recipe simply because they are a better gadget as they can scramble computers and cellphones, BUT we've made them slightly easier to craft and they also now have a greater effect (double) on the chapter, compared to crow eyes. In addition, electric motors can now also be bought directly from the regular green shops.

On a related note, those with a low tracking skill will now find it possible to get some of the better loot from scavenging (though those with better tracking will still get consistently better loot).

CN packet / dataminer files are now more balanced in terms of deletion / download effects on the chapter. Firstly, downloading these files will no longer give you money (which, yes, will mean slightly less profits on hacking for the duration of the chapter, sorry). Secondly, to counterbalance that change, downloading the files now impacts the chapter the exact same amount as deleting the files does, whereas before it impacted it less due to the fact that the files were valuable and people were downloading for profit.

I have also adjusted the slider appropriately (though only slightly), taking these changes into consideration.

Sacrificing exp to wraiths can now only be done once per day, same as attacking them. However, as this is a bigger sacrifice than just 2 energy for skirmishing them, it also has double the impact.

The chapter sliders now show percentages if you hover over the "X". Percentages range from -100% to (+)100%, and display 2 decimal points. Please keep in mind that not all actions take their toll on sliders immediately.

The Oracle vanished for a while due to a bug and has been returned to her regular spot in the building at 8, 27 (world).

Third small update today: resting on water or fences outside will now move you 2 squares away if you leave them there at hour change. It's a long story, but basically the change was to cut down on the server strain.

Crow eyes and electromagnetic emitters are now roughly equal. They have roughly equal effects, roughly equal crafting components / cost to produce, and they are exactly equal when it comes to how much they move the chapter sliders each day. Although emitters are harder to hide, this is counterbalanced by the fact that copper pipes are much easier to get than crafting cameras.

The change was decided upon due to the fact that the chapter should be fun, and possible for even lower level crafters to get involved. Also, emitters were too high crafting level compared to things like sensor turrets, which are much more useful overall. At the end of the day, it's best that chapter manipulation methods be as equal as possible in all respects.

If you are killed and you have a bounty of more than $300 it will now say on your death alert message exactly how much bounty you had when you died.

FORUM PLACEMENT

If your board was in 'bloodlines' but had multi-bloodlines in it, it was moved to Factions.

Bloodline = 1 single bloodline (on grid where it says bloodline, thats a bloodline)
Faction = Multi-bloodlines

Boards should be moved if they need moved. If you should be moved, and you weren't let me know. If you were moved and you're going to remove anyone on the board that isn't your primary bloodline, let me know and i'll move you back.

After this i'm not moving them. Thats just how i'm going to play this. You have a month to decide if your board is bloodline only or not. No adoptions, no others, no one that isn't your bloodline. If it is just your primary bloodline and all people have your bloodline name, then its a bloodline, other wise its a faction.

FORUM CHANGE AND PLACEMENT - 2

After talking with David, we decided it was simplier to change the bloodline board to "Clans" and have it only contain the main bloodlines of the game. All other boards are in "Private Boards". You can, as before, call yourselves whatever you like, a faction, bloodline, coven, clan, ect.
