Anemoi breathed heavily as he rested against a wall in an alley. He was left alone for the most part, at least by other paladins and humans but since the paladins were attacking any vampires he ran across were on attack mode. Not that he really cared, he defended himself but wasn’t on the attack anymore now that he knew what the monsters were. He rubbed the sweat away from his eyes with the back of his hand. He wondered for a moment what Kira looked like right now.
He heard his phone. He dug it out of his pocket and looked at it. It was from Mike. “Snow..” he said, why wasn’t she with Alex Freeman? So where the hell was he? He was about to reply that he was the wiz kid, why couldn’t he locate her for him but he got another text.
’Never mind. She said to make sure we are safe and to check on her grandparents. I have a feeling she disabled her phone as she said she’d text me with a new one later.’
Anemoi growled a little. “Why am I the one running around in the middle of the warzone?” he muttered, not to say why was Snow running around in this. He replied that he didn’t know where him and Nimmy were at and they were with vampires and he highly doubted they wanted to see someone with paladin marks. He put his phone back into his pocket and looked around the corner. He ran for veil towers to check on Snow’s grandparents, told them to stay inside, keep the doors locked. He also checked the other apartment he knew of but didn’t find Alex Freeman.
He sat on the floor in the hallway to rest when a group of hunters showed up. Well this can’t be good. he thought. “Hey no vampires or other creatures here. All clear.” He said. The eyed him a moment before heading upstairs. Anemoi rested his head against the wall, closing his eyes.

Kira's Stalker
Wolfgang had worked quickly to free his two new friends, though he couldn’t make them out, not even his own childe, Ever. It wasn’t until seconds before the van would come to an abrupt stop that he would recognise her scent. He went to reach for her just as the van came to a halt and sent him hard against the back wall away from the doors. He sat there looking a little dizzy as Daniel; Ever’s white knight came to the woman’s rescue. The tall vampire was conscious enough to know that she was now in safe hands.
As he watched the two disappear, Wolfgang went to get to his feet and heard a small commotion coming from the side of the vehicle. The driver had been hurt but it sounded like he was determined to push forward. He went to the back of the van and slammed the doors shut before anymore of his prisoners could escape and them limped back to the driver’s seat to continue on to the church where the Bishop was waiting.
As the van sped away from the curb, Wolfgang was once again thrown to the other end of the vehicle. “God damn it!” He hissed, flat on his back with his legs in the air hard against the doors. “This is not a good day!”
He looked across at the man who still lay unconscious on the floor of the van. He was face down now; it seemed all the crazy driving had pushed him around a bit too. Wolfgang was more careful now and looked for something to hold on to as he went to the man’s side. He turned him over and noticed the break in his ankle; that didn’t look healthy at all. “We got a few broken bones to mend after tonight,” Wolf smiled at he looked to the man’s distorted mask of a face. “But first we got to get through tonight.”
Wolf held fast to one of the side rails across the blackened windows as the van went round a sharp corner much too quickly. He held onto the unconscious man and tried to see where they were, but nothing could be seen through the windows; they must have been painted on the outside. He looked down at the vampires face then and narrowed his eyes. Even though the being did look a little distorted by the effects of the blood moon tonight, there were some basic characteristics in his features that registered with Wolf; the brow, his hair line, his height and build.
Wolfgang was thoughtful for a time before it suddenly came to him; this man was Chad Worthington the third! His blue gaze pinned the male for a moment before his free hand which hand been holding the man’s collar to keep him steady, went to his cheek. “Hey! HEY!” He slapped the elder on the cheek a few times to try and bring him back to the world of the living… dead.
“Chad!” Wolf called. “Wake up!” Chad was the first person Wolfgang had thought about when all of the strange happenings of this night started to unfold. He had tried to call the male before he rudely interrupted with a knife to the back of his head, or at least that was what the sharp blow had felt like. He wondered then if the elder would have picked up, or if he had been captured even before Wolfgang had been taken.
“Wake up!” Wolf tried again but nothing seemed to be working. He looked down the man’s body to his broken, displaced ankle then and bit his upper lip. “Forgive me for this,” he said softly before scooting down to grip the man’s ankle and straightening it abruptly, that was the kind of shock therapy that would bring him back; probably a bit unhappy too.
One of the hooded figures approached Odin. Alexandrea's voice greeted him. She then introduced him Zodiac. He was a bit surprised that sign language was also being used and figured the other Vampire deaf. He signed to her. "It's a pleasure to meet you." After the brief introduction Alexandrea reached up to touch the ridges on his forehead and made a comment about a Klingon. Odin grinned slightly as he the same thought crossed his mind earlier.
In reply to her concerns he replied, "I think some of the others have been hurt a lot more, some are dead I'm sure. It's chaos down there." He wasn't about to mention the gash across his ribs. He was pretty sure it was still bleeding but there wasn't much he could do about that now, and he hoped it wouldn't become a problem. He grasped Alexandrea's hand and squeezed it gently, before turning to Zodiac.
He signed, while he spoke, "If you've got a way to stop what's going on, more power to you. How can I help?"
The next moment, the door to the rooftop slammed open and Odin swung around quickly, his glock already in his hand. Ishani-Snow was probably the last person he expected to see there, and it was quite obvious she believed he was her father. She was crying and talking fast, and the last thing she said took him by surprise, though he was sure the thoughts that went through his head had nothing to do with what Snow was talking about. He glanced at Alexandrea for a moment, then back at the child.
"I don't plan on making a new baby," he said. He also didn't plan on missing out on the opportunity that presented itself either.
"You've done well my dear, very well, but do not try to kill Uncle Rat again. He is not after my crown, he is trying to help you. From now on you listen to him, do you understand me?" he said sternly to the girl.
Zodiac waved to the newcomer and smiled as she read his hands very clearly. She was also glad the man had the sense to speak as well as sign. She could not judge much by his size when he was not affected by the spell, but he was a brute now. She had only heard the name Odin in passing on a occasion or two but had never seen the man before now. As Alexandrea approached him, she turned her attentions back to her work.
She watched the two over her shoulder periodically as she began to open the boxes she had dragged along and set them within easy reach of where she would be standing. The brazier was glowing hot now and time was beginning to get that 'not nearly enough' feeling to it. So far her original powers had answered when she called to them, but how long could she hold things together once the moon was shrouded was the one question she could not answer. Several layers would have to do it set into a drifting pattern was her best guess.
“DADDY NOOOO”
The scream broke her train of thought. She turned to see Snow (of all people) come running out and wrapping herself around Odin's leg. Now on the worse night possible she was out on the streets? Ever since the first time she laid eyes on the girl in the catacombs playing tag with ancient zombies Zodiac knew something was not totally right about Ishani-Snow. But to look at the seven year old did not reveal a clue. Habren had sensed it too, she was sure of it.
She reached into her cloak pocket and pulled out her cell and checked the message she had gotten when Alex first arrived.
'I got taken from home again. The moon is icky red. Man found me, but he got killed. Lost. - Snow'
" 'Taken from home' probably means 'snuck out again' is more the truth!"she fumed in silence. The last thing anyone needed tonight was trying to keep her safe in the middle of all of this.
Odin seemed to have the child's attention for the moment, so she motioned for Alexandrea to come join her. A pen and a box lid served her purpose now as she wrote out her plan.
Ever make clouds? That's what we got to do. I figure the spell is using the moon's light in some way to spread more rapidly and with greater effects. If we can take one part of the spell away, the other part should become weaker or not a factor at all. As you saw, my elemental magicks are back. Have not had the ability to use them since I was turned. If it is organic, I can control it. We need a ton of smoke up in the air so I can nudge it up with those two little clouds and try to hold the entire mess between us and Mater Luna's light. Once I focus on controlling the clouds, I am a sitting duck. If the 2... 3 of you can keep any strays off my back long enough, I am hoping blocking part of the spell should get us our powers back and maybe save some of us in the process.
She looked at Alex and signed. It will also mean I will loose control of the cloud till it passes. But, once in the full effect of their spell again once they pass, I can move others into place. Hopefully these windows of time can make a difference for somebody.
Zodiac then tapped the boxes. Sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, ammonia. All organics that can convert into Aerosols which are cloud building blocks. A cloud is more solid. Smoke is too whispy to keep a tight hold on. Its gonna reek, but it will work. Care to start shoveling? she gestured to the hot coals now glowing red in the darkness.
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now
I still have clouds to dance upon, and the moon expects me for tea
The Pandora Project.
There was so much going on and Molly was going her best to keep up. Alex had mentioned that the other female should eat and the boys were dipping into the ice cream which she didn't mind as it seemed to make Nimmy happy and he was such a sweetheart that he could eat all the ice cream and she wouldn't care. Pulling out a pan, butter, sliced cheese, and sliced honey ham lunch meat, Molly started to prepare a meal for all of them. Even if Mike wasn't hungry, he might eventually and she wanted to be prepared for that and the same went for Nimmy. Quickly she buttered the bread and placed them on the warming pan as she began to layer the sandwiches until the final piece rested on top. A piece of cheese on the bottom and top of the sandwich to keep the bread and ham in place. It was a trick she learned from her housekeeper back in Cambridge.
While the sandwiches were cooking, she pulled out a pot and opened up two cans of tomato soup. Pouring the contents into the pans and then thinning out the consentrated content with milk for a creamer taste over the standard water practice that most people used. She turned the stove on high and pulled out a whisk to get all of the lumps out to make a smooth creamy soup. Pulling out four bowls and plates, which was all she needed since the other lady had left before anyone could argue with her to keep her inside, she set them all in a row. Placing the bowls in the center of the plates, she let the soup continue to heat up as she moved on to make another two sets of sandwiches. Placing the first two sandwiches on two of the plates, she cut them in half to surround the bowl as a garnish and to even make it easier if they wanted to dip their sandwiches into the soup like most that she knew did but then again...she was American and they ate differently than others at times. As the last two sandwiches finished, the soup was boiling to let her know that it was finished. Getting out a laddle, she began to spoon the soup into each bowl and garnished the center of each soup bowl with shredded cheese and croutons.
Smiling lightly as her generic masterpiece, she carefully carried the plates over to the dining room table. Each plate sat in front of a chair with a fresh floral arrangement in the center with Sunflowers and Lillies. Once everything was set, all that was needed was napkins and silverwear before getting them all drinks. As she headed back to the kitchen, robert began to wake up which was an amazing blessing. Molly smiled as she suddenly slipped on something which was strange to her as Lizzie has always kept the house so clean. Looking down at what she stepped on, she noticed it was teeth but they were sharper than normal. Her eyes shot up to Robert as she realized what had happened. Picking up the two fangs, she placed them in her pocket to give to Lizzie when everyone was distracted.
"There's soda in the fridge. Please help yourselves. Our house is your house. Please be as comfortable as you can with the chaos that's going on outside. Dinner is ready as well. Come eat. You'll need it even if you aren't hungry and Nimmy there is always more ice cream."
Molly spoke softly to try and calm anyone if they were upset. Hoping her calmness would rub off others but she was really just focused and staying busy to not allow her to realize that they could be in serious trouble especially since they were a house full of humans and two vampires. What if those goons came back and they couldn't get Robert and Lizzie hidden in time. That would be an issue.
Noticing that Robert was still acting a tad groggy, she made her way to Lizzie and put his fangs in her hand as she whispered in her ear about his fangs came out while he fell. Her eyes grew wide as she listened and looked down at the fangs in her hand and nodded with a sigh.
"Thank you, Molly. Please get Robert a very glass of blood."
Lizzie smiled at Robert and kissed his cheek. "You are very welcome." She wasn't sure what else to say for the moment but she let Molly take care of the rest. While he was propped up, she rose to her feet and made her way to the laundry room. As she walked in, she heard him ask where Alex was and Molly tell him that she had left in a hurry and that she would be alright but for the others to stay here where it was say. Molly had been handling things well even with the shock of what was going on.
Leaving them all to their own devices, she focused on what she wanted to do. If Robert wasn't going to have his fangs then neither was she. Starting the washer, dryer, turned on the water in the wash sink, and the radio so that they couldn't hear her as she was sure that it wasn't going to be exactly painless, she pulled out the tool box. Finding a pair of pliers, she took a deep breath and sighed as she placed it against her fangs that refused to retract. Counting to ten in her mind and yanked as hard as she could. Her screams where drowned out by all of the appliances and water as the first fang came out. She braced the wash sink as she hadn't felt such pain before other than when she would get shot or lose a leg. After a few moments, she knew that is would look dumb with only one fang so no matter the pain that she was feeling from this 'genius' idea, she needed to see it through. Placing the pliers against the other fang, she didn't count as long this time as she just yanked as hard as she could and she screamed again. Tears filled her eyes but it was all completely worth it especially since she didn't use them any way. She always feed from blood packs as she didn't want to harm Molly or any other human. She didn't want to be a reason to put another child into the orphanage that she owned.
Cleaning up after her task was completed and her mouth felt like it wasn't throbbing as much, she put the fangs into a cubby of their own in the tool box and put them away. It made her smile slightly to see the size difference in the fangs. She could clearly tell which pair went to which one of them. Shaking her head as she walked back out to the other room. She walked back out to the kitchen, feeling slightly weak as she needed to feed still. Lizzie opened the fridge and pulled out a blood pack for herself and placed it in the microwave for a small bit of time to warm it up and then cut open the bag to pour it into a glass. She walked over to Robert and kneeled down to him. Reaching out, she caressed his cheek softly.
The whole drive to the church was pain for Asia. Two men were in the front seat and one had remained in the back with her. He had ate the food that the others had made for him while he tormented her in her own home. She glared up at him as he would kick at her stubs. A low growl escaped her as she wanted nothing more than to shoot him in the head. This was her thought while her eyes glanced down at his rifle. He had caught her gaze and where it was focused just as he finished his food.
"You have good food...too bad you won't live to cook it again."
She leaned forward as he cackled and spit in his face. Instantly he pulled his knife from his belt where it was sheathed and rushed across the van, putting the blade to her throat and made as small cut as he didn't want to kill her just yet. Once he had moved across to the opposite side, he reached the blade up to rest upon her cheek as he let the blade cut into her flesh.
"You won't be doing that again. What you don't realize is that when you die tonight...there is no coming back. You're dead so you better hope that you have a living...breathing beneficiary to take over everything that you own or it will go to the highest bidder as you no longer matter. You are a disgusting beast. A monster who prey on those you think are weak. Well guess what...you lose and we win."
He quickly drug the blade across her cheek causing her to bleed a little of what was left. The black blood spilling out of her wound, her eyes on him as he watched her blood magically vanish in a puff of black smoke. He laughed as he thought it was just a parlor trick, knowing that she didn't have any abilities to use against him.
"You're in for a real treat, Sugar. We get to peel you apart, piece by piece just to hear you beg for us to kill you to end your miserable life. Hell I have half a mind to make you feel what a real man feels like. Yeah...that would be a good deal...kill you while I'm pressed against you."
He chuckled to himself at the thought. The anticipation and itch was building and he couldn't wait until they would get to their destination. Another vampire was going to die and aided their cause. This city would be rid of the vermin and they could live with no worries.
Those large chocolate brown orbs started down at the man. She wanted to cry and whimper because of the pain that she was feeling but that would give them too much statisfaction. She refused to give them that but did she want her husband more than ever now. Gambat was always about killing but then again it was fitting since he was a killer but she had hoped that he would have just stayed with her, protected her or made sure that she was safe. Shaking her lightly as she scoffed. They could hurt her more and even kill her but she knew her husbands need to kill and the temper that went with it. These mens were fucked and she couldn't wait until they got to met Gambat and they felt his wraith because they would have wished that they never had.
It wasn't much longer when they had reached the church. The man that had been sitting with her, drug her to the doors before he forcefully flung her over his shoulder when he hopped out. They marched into the building where they kept the cells, she could hear the screams of others as they were being tortured or slaughtered. She was getting scared as this was worse than she had ever experienced when she was in the Army but she refused to let them know.
Stepping into the cell, two entered and one stayed outside to guard the door. It as a large cement room with a thick solid metal door. No one could see in or out except through the retangular hole at eye level. There were chains on the wall and a large metal table in the middle of the room. Given her lack of limbs, they strapped her down to the table so that she couldn't move and made it so they were free to do as they wished.
"Now, Sugar. Get ready for the time of your life."
The man cackled as the other passed him a scalpel. They started to make slow cuts all over her skin and through her clothes. The small cuts where minor in pain until the pain all worked together with the ones next to it. Like a thousand paper cuts all over her body. This made her squirm but there was no slack and movement was near impossible. Their laugher echoed through the room as they were finally getting the reaction from her that they were looking for. The fear couldn't be hidden anymore and that fed into their vicious intentions. She was going to die... A low grunt slipped from her as she pulled on her arm that was strapped down only to cry out as the metal shackles cut into her skin. The man that had been tormenting her the most since he found her, leaned down and whispered in her ear.
"What's wrong, Suga? Finally realizing there is nothing left for you? That today is your last day on this earth? Well enjoy it while it lasts as you seem like the type that likes pain. How about we see how much you like it."
They pulled a scrap across her abdomen, pulling it tight so that she couldn't move. Once she was set, the man walked over to a rack that held various swords. Running his finger over each one until he found the one that he was looking for and then smirked as he pulled it off the wall. Turning back to Asia, he gave her a wink and blew her a kiss before swinging the blade. The whistle it made as it cut through the air with such force before the echo of metal on metal sounded through the room with her scream to follow. He had chopped off her other leg. She looked up at the ceiling hoping the bond that she had with John could pass on the pain as they were bound by a ritual together. She sighed as the tears pooled in her eyes but never fell as shadows were cursed with the inability to cry.
"John....where are you? I love you..."

His smile made her feel better for a moment until his words reminded her of the bodies and piles of ash she had seen everywhere on her way through the city. But then when he took her hand she almost forgot the gruesome images. Almost. Alex gave Odin a nod and returned the hand squeeze before letting go of him as he turned to address Zodiac.
The next thing she knew, he was spinning around with a gun at the sound of someone approaching. "Snow?" Alex asked, confused. She then watched in amazement as the child hung onto Odin as if her life depended upon it, trying to push Alex away as she did so.
The little girl couldn't know how much her talk about making babies stung so it took Alex a moment to understand that Snow seemed to think Odin was her father. The talk of babies had hit close to home and it had rattled her but she pushed her feelings of loss aside and tried to focus on what Snow was really saying. And, even though it didn't make sense... hell, nothing tonight made any sense... Alexandrea knew how it felt to have your father replace you.
But Odin wasn't Snow's father. Was he? Alexandrea looked up into his face curiously. Hadn't he used the words 'my first born' to her when he visited her in the Shadow Realm after their fadebeast creation had killed her when it was born? Had he... lied?
No. He hadn't. She was sure of it, he had been too sincere at the time and had no reason to lie about something like that. Snow was clearly confused and very upset and then Odin began to talk to her in a calm voice, explaining that... there would be no babies. Alex swallowed hard and sighed. It was, what it was. And it was the truth. But then he... lied?
Odin was letting Snow believe that he was her father? She stared at him, confused. She knew he was many things and capable of a lot of bad things which she had never been bothered by but she wasn't comfortable with someone lying to a child. She bit her bottom lip and said nothing, just watching the two and trying to study Odin's body language. She trusted him to do what was best and sometimes being completely honest just wasn't an option. Alex wanted to speak to him alone later anyways, she would ask him why he would mislead Snow into thing he was her father then.
After Odin finished speaking to Snow, Alex crouched down to eye level with the girl and spoke.
"Snow. Hello. It's me Alexandrea."
She pulled her hood more firmly around her face, nervous her corpse like appearance would frighten the little girl.
"And I can promise you that no one is trying to replace you. I... I can't have babies."
Again she swallowed hard and then went on. "But that doesn't matter. Because you are one of a kind and no one could ever replace you or take your place. You are Snow. There has never been any one like you and there never will be. You are irreplaceable."
Her words sounded sad even to her, as she thought about how she was the liar now. People could be replaced. She had been... Alex pushed the thought of her own father out of her mind and tried not to think about how worried she was that Odin was thinking of replacing her too.
Snow still clung to Odin's leg as Alexandrea stood back up and looked to check on Zodiac, who was trying to get her attention. She looked back at Snow and gently touched the child's arm.
"If you want me, I'll be with my friend. After everything is settled maybe we could go visit 'Horse' later and see how she is doing? I bet she's a lot bigger now. I'll let you and...your 'father' talk."
Walking back over to the Mystic, Alex looked back at the two of them only for a second but was glad to see that they seemed to be talking. At least Snow appeared to be calmer. She hoped that was the case.
Zodiac had written out her plan for Alex to read and after scanning the information, Alex watched as the Gypsy signed out the rest of the details, pointing out the items that they would be needing to use. She understood. Chemistry had been one class she hadn't blown off, due to her interest in blowing things up.
"I understand" Alex said as she signed the words. "In fact, unless I am needed in battle? I can continue to create more clouds after you start. The more clouds, the better... right?"
Next she got to work, going ahead and dropping off her cloak so it didn't get in the way and slow her down.
Nimrod wiggled happily as he got his ice cream and started to eat. Since he was always out and about, never staying in one spot, he hadn’t had ice cream before. He ate it too fast and his head started to hurt. “Ow, ow.” He said, holding his head. He sniffled, but it went away within a moment. He went back to eating and ended up in the same way again. He never did put two plus two together however, he liked the ice cream too much to care.
He looked over at Molly. “Soda?” he said and grinned. While he had some before, it was something he didn’t get often. He pushed the empty bowl aside and got up to get a soda. He returned to his spot and looked at the food. Home cooked meal, even if it was simple, he didn’t care. People that cared enough to cook for him. He started to eat the sandwich parts before moving to the soup so it would cool down. “Yum yum yum. Mikey you gotta eat. You skinny boy.” He said. He was easily distracted by food so he didn’t question what was going on.

Odin's player gave me permission to post the whole of this.
Odin was a bit surprised that Alexandrea knew Snow. She seemed to know Snow rather well, as she went on to reassure the child, though he thought Alexandrea was laying it on a bit thick.
Alexandrea was soon on her way back across the rooftop to help Zodiac with whatever it is they were going to do.
Odin looked down at Snow and sighed. This wasn't the most appropriate place or time to be having a conversation with Ishani-Snow, but it had to be done.
"When the time comes, when I want to, I will make Uncle Rat appear before you. I have much yet to do and you need to listen to him. I have chosen him..." Odin paused and glanced across the rooftop before continuing "...and a few others to help you in your journey. You know who they are."
----------
Ishani-Snow didn't believe the woman when she said she was Alexandrea. The reason was pretty simple in the child's mind. Alexandrea never hide her face, she never seem to hide anything really. She didn't wear hoods from what the child could remember, and she never seemed sad. This woman, however, was sad. She also apparently couldn't have children, so the man who she believed to be Father at the time wasn't in any hurry to be trying. Still the child clung to the man's leg, not trusting the other figure to have the same reason for not being there. She had noticed how Alexandrea seemed to care about her father. She wasn't stupid, her Father was of course the best man in the whole world, heaven and hell. Everyone wanted him, and those who didn't were stupid in her mind.
Turning she tilted her head at her father. “I don't like Uncle Rat... he is trying to be the heir. Mommy said I was the Anti-Christ.” she tugged on the man's hand some, mindless of anything else. “Mommy said I was!” she had to keep from stomping her feet, she shouldn't act up in front of her father. “He can't be trusted Daddy, that's your number one rule.”
----------
Odin was concerned about others coming up the stairs, and Ishani-Snow was standing there arguing with him. Thinking of things she said in the past he sternly replied, "My number one rule is don't trust anyone. Now I've led a few to you, ones you can trust and they have helped you. I'm telling you to trust Uncle Rat. He is not trying to be the heir."
The Vampire paused for a moment thinking of her comment about her mother. "As far as your mother goes, you can discuss this with Uncle Rat later. You know I had to take her away. She did what she needed to do for you to grow, but it was time for her to be taken to a special place."
Odin couldn't even believe he was having this conversation. After he brutalized and killed Snow's mother he should have tied up loose ends when he realized there was a child in the house. She was bruised and battered and locked in a room and probably heard a lot that was going on. Instead he removed any traces that would point to him and notified the authorities after he was thousands of miles away.
----------
Ishani-Snow knew that her mother had been killed. What the people of Ireland couldn't imagine was their little 'starlet' had lived through awful things. Her mother had kept a diary from before her birth. They had tried to search for her legal father because that was where the child legally should had been placed with, but he had been somewhere in Africa and unreachable by any means they could come with. Still Ishani-Snow believed she knew more about her father than anyone else, and even if her father stated that Odin (who she believed to be her Uncle) was on her 'side' she would simply have to protect her father.
She had to keep herself from glaring at him, looking instead at the ground, anger was building up. Why couldn't her daddy see that Uncle Rat wasn't a good guy, he wasn't like Daddy. He was more like God. He was Evil just like God. She guessed even her Daddy needed someone to believe in, he did believe in her but she also knew he would never really trust her. God swayed to many people to his side and left them with so few who knew the truth about who was really good and who was really evil. “I don't care” she spoke in low careful tones, “I don't care what Uncle Rat has to say. Mommy was killed because she loved God more than you.” she looked up at him. “But I love you more Daddy. I don't love God. God is really mean and evil.” she didn't care that she was screaming now before she turned and crossed her arms glaring at the two women.
After a moment she seemed to forget all about their conversation, “Hey Daddy...” she said looking up towards him. “You come to rule right? That's why the moon is red? Cause you going to make sure that people know... that's why all the demons aren't hiding no more right? That's why those other people tried to hide me away so I wouldn't see. I killed him though Daddy. He didn't know better... so you'll let him go to a good place right?”
----------
Snow got loud, yelling her opinion and crossing her arms. Odin grimaced and wish that she was anywhere else at the moment. He had a feeling things were going to get crazy soon. He glanced over at Alexandrea and Zodiac for a moment then returned his gaze to the child.
"The red moon is why I am here now," he said to her, more in a growl than anything else, knowing that this certainly was not a lie. "Calm yourself now or you'll have to go!" He had no idea where she could even go at this point that would be safe, but hoped that would chill her out a bit. Odin decided he needed to chill a bit himself and closed his eyes for a moment. Then addressing Snow again he said, "And yes, the one you killed will go to a better place."

Ishani-Snow's heart sank it was read all over her face when he had told her if she didn't calm down that he would send her away. The only place she could think of was the same place her mother had went... to God. Instead of addressing her fear she caught sight of a creature that wasn't suppose be there without Zodiac, and from what she knew, Zodiac wasn't around.
Lowering her eyes she watched the four legged Mean Kitty near the other woman. Turning she looked at her daddy, “You doing a ritual right? So that everyone knows you are the better choice?” she whispered the last of the words “So people remember...” she turned and look back towards the two women. “Like the man... so they keep all going to the better place not the bad place.”

Odin raised his eyebrow at Snow's question. He looked once again at the two hooded figures across the rooftop. "Yes, a ritual is going to be done," he said quietly. "You need to be quiet and go sit over there and watch," he said as he pointed to a crate a few yards away. He heard whispers coming from the stairs that led up to the roof, and once again retrieved his glock. "Be quiet," he said to Snow as he put his finger to his lips.

Ishani-Snow stared at him for a moment before her eyes had went back towards the four legged creature that she knew for a fact was Zodiac's cat. The girl didn't really know much about rituals at all. She knew they were something that witches did. That and they used live cats. Ishani-Snow liked cats but they just had no like for her. All the other animals didn't seem to have one just something about cats not liking her.
She nodded her head some, as she moved towards the crate that he had pointed to. Not that she actually planned to stay there. Those ladies, was going to use Auntie Kitty's Mean Kitty for a ritual. Daddy did say they were doing a ritual and that explained why the cat was there. Any other day she would be all for the cat getting stabbed at. Yet she was pretty sure Auntie Kitty would mind.
Looking towards her Daddy for just a moment, she waited until he wasn't paying any attention to her before getting off the crate and quickly and sneakingly as she could made her towards the worst animal that ever lived. She was doing good, it hadn't noticed her at all and when she grabbed it around it's waist she clung perhaps a little too tight or maybe it had been too quick of a grab. All she knew was it wasn't very pleased with her.
“Stop it dummy” she tried to cover it's mouth with her hand as she tried to shove it up her shirt. “They're going to make you ritual stuff” she growled. Not paying any mind if anyone actually noticed she was trying to make the creature who clearly didn't want to be shoved up her shirt go up her shirt.
Snow was certainly being a brat. No matter what Odin was saying, she wasn't buying it. Zodiac doubted the girl could understand sign language, and once she started she could not stop to write down the answer to every question the girl might have.
"I understand" Alex said as she signed the words. "In fact, unless I am needed in battle? I can continue to create more clouds after you start. The more clouds, the better... right?"
She smiled and gave Alex two thumbs up. The more she had to work with, the better it would be. She grabbed the scoop she had brought for this reason and added the ingredients to the brazier and watched as it began to boil and smolder, generating a thick, dark smoke that coiled sluggishly up into the air. The burning chemicals stank badly, but the resulting smoke would give her something to grab onto.
If you are forced to fight, perhaps you can convince Little Miss Snow there to keep the process going? She signed. Zodiac was not sure how that would work out, considering by the babble talk she was hearing the girl thought 'daddy' made the red moon, so any attempts to stop it might not be well received. The worse that could happen is the child stabbing her to try and stop her. Normally that would not be an issue, but now?
Ginny's screeching caught her ears and the mystic turned in time to see Snow trying to wrestle the cat under her shirt of all things. This was a puzzle she could not afford to be distracted by. To say the child hated her familiar was an understatement. Zodiac could not help Ginny sensed something about the girl that equaled 'bad news' in her kitty brain and Snow made no secret her feelings in return, so what was compelling the child to try and hide the angry cat under her shirt? Just as she was about to encourage Alex to ask, a second sound caught her ears. She pointed to the ladder from the fire escape that looped up and onto the roof top. It was shaking badly. More snaps of weakened metal could be heard as voices below suddenly erupted in panic. Suddenly the ladder top vanished a moment before a loud confusion of metal folding on top of metal and screams could be heard.
Zodiac ran to the edge and peeked over and saw several of the military types caught under the weight of the collapsed emergency stairwell."Sneaky bastards,"she thought. She had not heard them making their way up. Part of her wished she had gone a couple floors lower with her sabotage job. A vampire could make the jump up to the rooftop, but since everyone's powers were on the fritz now she doubted any more like them could get up here. Any of the hunters would need to use ropes now, unless there was some kind of super paladins running around.
"I so RICK!"she shouted in her mind as she turned back to the smoke making. Absently she made a sign to ward off her previous notion of super hunters. She looked up at Alex when she stepped back into the circle and smiled as best she could.I am going to start now. All of you be careful.
She hugged the woman and then knelt down within the confines of her pentacle. A few strokes of the brush sealed it. In silence she prayed as her fingers touched the inner edges of the circle. A soft glow followed the paths of the ink for a brief moment, casting a violet light around her."And one last thing,"She reached into her cloak and pulled a small vial out. A final thing to see if she truly was back in tune with herself as she was before Scorpia. It was her Nanna's creation she had taught her to make. She popped the cap and drank down the contents and waited to see if the Elixir of Awareness would take effect. Since being turned, the potions she had been taught to make had little to no effect on her and if they did, the effect's duration was fleeting.
Her eyes grew wide as she felt it. Her sense of perceptions growing and expanding now."Oh I have so missed this,"her thoughts almost purring now. Mentally she began to chant and focus her will upon the growing mass of black smoke. As if she was sculpting, a section of the stream of blackness broke free and slowly began to rise upwards in a billowing black mass. Slowly guiding it upwards to take a stand between the moon and them all. More would follow till a billowing wall of darkness would soon be in place.
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now
I still have clouds to dance upon, and the moon expects me for tea
