I really wanted to make something with these pictures, but they were so pixely... >.<

Smudge tool, on 1-2 px, and make hairlike strokes with the fade set between 25-50.

^ Photoshop

You can also bepixelate her face a bit by using the blur tool on her cheeks/other non-accentuated facial areas.

This, she's amazing at drawing hair. I usually just cheat by using the clone tool and blur it in carefully.

And I love the one you're currently using for Aliyah, it's pretty.

I can definitely give that a shot and see how it goes. Do you mind if I PM you with it after my attempt so you can give me some more tips/tricks and criticism?

And thanks! I can't take all the credit though, because I got the idea from some work I found on google. I just went for a sort of copy cat design with different images.
