Can Vampires identify a Demifae as Demifae without being told and vice versa?

Just going by grid mechanics I am leaning towards yes. IE it would seem problematic for a vampire to get a mouthful of Fae blood if they saw them on the street and tried to take a sip. Is there maybe a scent or aura that would give them away?

And grid wise Demifae (Npcs) attack Vampires in the wilderness on sight (unless they have level 2 meaner things active) which ought to mean they can spot Vampires unless the vampire in question was really trying (and strong enough) to conceal themselves.

Vampires cannot identity a Demifae unless that Demifae is in their natural form.

In addition, PC Demifae cannot currently tell the difference between a human or vampire naturally. However, obtaining and using the RP Power 'Hunter's Vision' would allow them take an educated guess as vampires aren't likely to give off much of a heat signature compared to humans.

So what happens if a vampire tries feeding off of a demi-fae?

Alos; I haven't actually tried on grid myself... nor do I plan to with any of mine that I have currently... but is there a game mechanic in place?

When a vampire tried to bite my demi-fae, while in his human form.
Leo Porter attempted to feed on you, but you fought them off!

And for the vamp who tried to bite.
You failed to feed on the human! They managed to evade and fight off your attempts.
When Leo was added to Dylan's Allies list and tried again. Also this was while Dylan was transformed.

The human is packing! They shoot a few rounds at you and hit! You are wounded!

Now this was odd, because Dylan doesn't even have a gun equipped. I have him stated for MA and only equip a sword, so not sure what he shot Leo with.

Looks like when you try to feed off a demi-fae , they just fight you off but you always see them as human.

Edit: Though we never figured out what happens if the vamp were to actually get blood from the demi-fae. If it never can happen on the grid, what about for RP. Would the vampire get sick off the blood?

It's been acknowledged as an issue through roleplay, but we have never fully given an RP statement or fully brought it into canon due to the nature and reality that players are facing.

We'll get to the other questions here soon.

Would it be possible for a wraith to possess a human or vampire temporarily?

Jeebus, had to dig for this one:

Can a wraith possess a human if it had full energy and full anima?

Mystics do it when they come back from the SR as a wraith. So it makes sense that for a short time, a normal wraith could in RP too.
Unless I've said otherwise in the past, wraiths cannot possess the living. They must be very powerful, and concentrate very hard to even be able to interact with anything in the real world.

When a fadewalker enters the shadow realm through the use of their power is it just as torturous of an experience for them as a vampire that has been sent there by being killed?
