April 15th
"Oh Puppet, have a task for you." Kira said to him from the hallway to the kitchen.
Puppet had been staring at the fadebeast that liked the silverware. Mama was keeping these things as pets and he knew there was one, maybe two more in the house. "What is it?" Puppet asked before looking at her. She had some kind of spiked collar in her hands.
"David gave this to me, for Kipingu." Kira said.
Puppet raised an eyebrow. "For who now?" he asked as that was not one of her normal pets. "Man you don't mean that fadebeast that's in your room.."
Kira nodded, "Would like to chase it out though. It's not very peaceful to sleep in a room with a fadebeast in the corner." she said, "Took the furry ones over to Lexy's for awhile."
"Got to be ******* kidding me. You want to put a damn collar on that thing!?" Puppet said in disbelief. There was seriously something wrong with this family. "And why do I have to be the poor sap that has to do it?"
"Because you're human and they don't bother you. If I try, I'd get rather beaten up and then I might lose it, then Mama wouldn't be happy...well at least its not Mshangao or Fedha..." Kira said, thinking about it. Not that she could kill it. She could hurt it and it would most likely run away somewhere.
Puppet sighed and got up, taking the collar. "That's all he did was give you this?" he asked.
"Well, the first part of the conversation, he was being a pervert." Kira replied, "I wish I could sire someone...more not like the ones I have." she said softly, biting her lower lip a moment. "Anyway, let's see how this fadebeast riding goes." she added, grabbing him by the wrist and pulled him upstairs.
"I am not riding that thing! You vampires can, I ain't!" Puppet protested, trying to get his hand free.
Kira frowned, "How else are you going to get it on? Think its just going to hold still?" she said. "I suppose I could try keeping it distracted with hall of mirrors...or some other illusion."
Puppet looked around the corner, looking into her bedroom and there it was, sitting by the chair. 'Why the hell am I doing this? Oh most likely because I have to...she asked..' he thought bitterly. He moved forward, standing next to it, which didn't bother it any. It just once Kira moved closer, it started to get antsy. Puppet opened the collar up and slipped it around its neck. It growled and moved forward, which caused Puppet to have to get on its back just try to buckle the collar. He saw several Kiras in the room now, causing the beast to get confused and stopped long enough for him to finish putting the collar on.
Puppet jumped off its back and hurried back towards the door.
Kira started backing out of the room. "See, that wasn't so bad now was it?" she said with a grin, oh she had thought it was quite entertaining. "I knew fadebeast riding would be awesome. Shall have to try it myself later."
"******* crazy." Puppet said and ran off downstairs.

So the bathroom and 'spa' area of the house is finally done. Complete with punching bag. Not that I foresee that being a sure way to keep her from going out and fighting. I'm sure it will come in handy for putting David's face on it however.
The house is starting to look like someone of high class. It looks rather nice. She put a day bed out in the hallway for me. I suppose its better then sleeping at the casino, which I might not want to do for awhile because of what happened below.
When did I turn into a ******* messenger. Suppose that guy I attacked for Kira passed my name around because I sure as hell don't remember attacking this one. Still wants to get to know her. Kira stated she wasn't sure how that would work considering well Mama and what he did to Serenity. She simply said she was sorry for putting me in danger but then she asked about my brothers...damn woman is looking for a backup.

April 30th (Putting this here since Kira's journal is more up to date than Puppet's)
Kira returned from the music store and sat down at the table with the two instruments she bought. The first basset horn, which she had a hard time deciding if she wanted it or a soprano saxophone. Maybe some other time. The other was a violin.
Puppet had came in and was staring at her as she was looking over the instruments. "Why did you steal two things when you don't even know if you can play anything?" he asked.
Kira glared at him, "I did not steal them." she replied. "I just got it for...rather cheap. I talked the shop owner down on the price...that's all." she added. "And I don't know, I was drawn to them." she said as she played a few notes on the basset horn before it turned into a simple melody. She put the horn back down on the table. "The information is just there..."
"So, going to start writing songs now too. Bet they'd be all related to beating and killing which doesn't sell as well as love songs, as far as I know." Puppet mused.
Kira scoffed. "Can sing a love song just fine. It's easy to fake emotions in a song. But no, I don't think I could write any myself." she said.
"Try a poem, might be easier." Puppet replied.
Kira blinked, "Roses are red, violets are blue, I got five fingers, the middle one is for you."
Puppet stared at her.
"What...I heard it somewhere...and I could come up with worse ones. Words like black and blue and blood come to mind." Kira replied.
"Okay, so no love poems or songs.." Puppet muttered. "But that's what sells.."
Kira rolled her eyes. "I don't really want to make money using music, at least my own. Better to play something that everyone already knows." she said as she held the violin up. The melody was lonely and distant.
"I can't write you a love song. But I can tell you about one fateful night.
A story about a time a distance ago.
We were a pair of skilled thieves. Working together on a big score.
He was good with the plans, I was good with the slight of hand.
It was more than getting rich, there was a deeper motive to be had.
To get back a family ring lost when his family was taxed to death.
It took some time to become the bride to be, to get that engagement ring.
We took more than our fair share of their wealth and left the city in the middle of the night.
I can't write you a love song. The word has no meaning for me.
It is made up of emotions and feelings that I just can't understand.
I can tell you about time that someone gave me devotion that I didn't deserve, I didn't earn.
I thought we would go our separate ways.
But always came up with another reason to stay.
As time drew on, he bought a house on the outskirts of a quiet town.
This was his idea of settling down.
And I soon realized why he wouldn't take the ring back.
I told him that I wasn't sure if I could love him like that.
I never understood what he saw in me.
He must have been living in a fantasy.
I never showed him that kind of affection.
So I don't know why I deserved that kind of attention.
I'm not the kind of girl you take home to your family.
I'm not the kind of girl you walk down the aisle...
And because of my oddity, there must have been something wrong with me.
They came in the middle of the night, pitch forks and torch light.
We tried to run away, he wouldn't leave me behind.
They claim I was in league with the devil, something I don't even believe in.
The only demons that night was the ones in that mob.
An arrow went through his chest, and as he dyed it made me think of what a life we could have had.
I could have killed them all, and as much as I would have liked, I knew he wouldn't have approved.
So I fell back into the air, over that cliff and let the sea bring me home..."
The last note was drawn out and slowly faded into nothing. Kira put the violin down, "I...need to go out." she said without letting Puppet say a word. She got up, crossed the distance to the door, grabbed her jacket and weapons was out into the night.

What is wrong with this man?
Liam Goodryke says: "Greetings Kui Lei. My regards to your masters"
Why is it he can't just talk to her? I'm not a damn messenger. Expressly when I pass on such a message and Kira just replies "Hum ok.."
Most likely because he never did reply to her e-mail the last time he decided to leave a message with me. She said she wouldn't bother saying anything this time around.
You know what else is annoying? Those damn fadebeasts now have a thing for humans. This sucks. So now I can't chill with one and be safe from her or anyone else from the family. Just have to remember not to go near the silverware.

March 26th
Kira her normal self. I tried to bring up what was going on, she simply said she didn't want to know. The bitter betrayal of friends. I don't think she is fine with this all, she pretends she doesn't care. Maybe because no one else cares at the moment, she's been alone. She doesn't even want to decorate her shop, the last time I was there, she was throwing stuff in the back. While it is like her to throw things, not when it comes to this.
March 27th
"Where are we going..?" Kira asked for the third time. He still refused to say but told her to just come on. Soon the smell of the water filled the air as they went...fishing.
"New idea to help you relax. Fishing." Puppet replied.
"A place to hide your body." Kira muttered and Puppet quickly moved away.
"Come on, just try it. The fish, you can sell. A very simple way to make some money." Puppet said, handing her a fishing rod.
Kira stared at it then at him. She shook her head and flopped down at the edge of the water. She flicked the line out like she had done this before. She felt the slightest tug on the line and started to reel it in. She held up the small goldfish. "Why are these in the water?" she asked. "People flush them while still alive?"
Puppet shrugged. He put it in a cooler, maybe a pet store would buy it.
Kira tried again, getting an angelfish, which she again didn't expect finding in the water. Now the catfish and bass was another matter. The next thing that came out of the water was...a person's head. "Think we found someone's dumping ground." she said and held the head up to Puppet who fell over.
"P-Put it back!" Puppet hissed.
"Why? I got a ton of these at home...though this one does smell.." Kira said, she looked at the water again. "Hey look, there's the body!" she added as she pointed.
Puppet groaned and covered his face with his hands.
Kira rolled her eyes and tossed the head back into the water. "I would thought you'd be used to such things by now." she said and got up. "Then again, I can still freak Dru out with my jar of eyes."
"Its disturbing.." Puppet grumbled, grabbing the cooler and headed out of the building. At least she didn't keep the head.
Kira looked back to the water for a moment before following after him.
March 28th
Kira looked over at Puppet, he had been staring at her as she was carving out runes on some clay. "What!" she growled at him.
"Nothing.." Puppet said, sinking into the sofa.
Kira put the rune down. "Do you care about me?" she asked.
Puppet looked over at her again. "Of course..."
"Then why do you hang out with Windy?" Kira asked.
Puppet tilted his head. "You never cared about that before." he replied.
Kira was shaping out another circle, "I know...just didn't really think on it much before. The man is trying to kill me but yet you hang out with him." she said.
"The way you two go at it, it hardly seems serious." Puppet said, "You could kick his *** if you really wanted to...and even if he did kill you, you would come back." he added then paused. "Besides, thought you two had a thing for each other."
Kira shook her head. "Males are not worth my time. A relationship isn't worth my time. You get nothing out of it other than pain, betrayal and suffering." she said. "Suppose some of it is fun but in the end, Windy is going to die...maybe not by my hand but he's a paladin, annoying little group of humans."
"And besides, I'm still trying to end my fake marriage to David." she added, "That will be worth celebrating."
"Indeed.." was all Puppet said, now if only that included David going to the shadow realm for awhile.

March 2014
Dave just left the house, muttering. It wasn't like Kira to bring a random male home. The guy seemed pretty much like a thrall, only not a thrall. She put no spell over him to get him to help her. However, she was an allurist. They could get people to do what they want, so maybe he was under a spell. Just not the one that binded him to her.
He shoved his hands in his pockets, was she trying to replace him? She had shown no signs before that she was getting tired of him. Everything he had done for her, all the things he knew about her. He stopped walking, she was going to kill him. He just knew it. There was no way she could let that other man live under the same roof as her and not slip up that she was not human and that would be against the rules. So that was it. She was going to kill him and make that other man her thrall.
He growled, he didn't even seem like an upgrade! He needed some advice. Maybe he should ask Alex and Morgan if they thought Kira was going to kill and replace him. He sure as hell wasn't going home!

"Way too many animals.." Dave muttered, feeding all the dogs then the two cats before going outside and feeding the horses and taking care of them. He was more than tired when he finally was done, flopping down on the sofa. No one was home and he was sure that wraith wasn't here or it would be asking for him to turn on the TV.
So many things had changed since he first became a servant to a vampire. Kira had been so cold at first but she became a rather caring person, not that she showed that side to that many people. Now when she threatens his life, he knows she doesn't mean it. However that one childe of her's, Aden. He couldn't be too sure on him. He really should make a will. And a note that says to make sure his death wasn't murder by her own bloodline.
He sighed softly, his eyes closing. He needed a nap before Kira added on more chores to do.
