Just to clarify, from a non-mod perspective, the reason why people use the term "potential bug" is because nobody knows just yet. It takes someone to go into the code and analyse whether it really is or not.
As players, knower of how the game should work, we can make educated guesses. We can say that it sounds like a bug, but it goes to David or Josh to go in and truly declare yes or no.
Please, calm down. As an outsider looking in, I can see miscommunication happening and it really doesn't need to cause hurt feelings. Just take a step back, try to see from a neutral point of view. <3

I could see your point if it were only just this one case you do not realize how many people have talked to me and left this game because they view the terms and tone of the mods Offensive
I know they try to sound professional and i know they are not trying to hurt anyone's feelings ... However a large majority of the time the words they choose and the Overall tone of the messages that get sent is Quite off putting and It seems as if they are talking down to people and Most of the time when their input is offered its just on the brink of condescending The tone is there whether meant or not.
I like this game i would like it to stick around and this has been a problem for years

You can't argue tone on the internet. It's much too easy to read a tone that simply isn't there when the entire conversation is in text. In my experience, most instances of someone being upset about someone else's tone online are simple cases of miscommunication; that includes instances where I was misread and where I did the misreading.
Unfortunately, in these instances there's very little the mods can do about it. The reader has to take a step back and consider how likely it is that what they read was what was intended, and to ask questions to give the writer the opportunity to clarify. As responses go,
is almost always more useful than

I would suggest no more replies and Let the Devs take look. Pretty please. They are after all the only ones who truly know.

I'll copy and paste what I said over on the DT thread here:
...
That said, the automatic crit that happens on on the 17th (I thought it was 15th, but hey ho, lol) hit should be nullified if DT is being used. So I'll make that happen now, so that DT can never kill a target on its own. Other than that, everything is okay in my view.
Yes there was an update a long long time ago which made it so that you're auto killed on the 17th wound, no matter what. I believe it's less for pure blood humans, but equal for classed humans.
But as I said, I don't think Dark Theurgy should be killing on its own, so I'll make it unable to finish somebody off, as I said.
As for the tone of the mods being too harsh, I can't see anything here where they were being too harsh, but please feel free to PM me with the quoted part which anyone felt was a bit impolite or aggressive, etc. I'm okay with mods being stern, but I feel like there's a large gap between harsh and stern.
Anyway, hope that clears everything up.
