The message itself isn't a bug, because it doesn't name the attacker. That's how it's set up. It's anonymous, but it does say they've been fed on.

As for the loss of blood, why shouldn't Every have lost any blood if she was fed on?

The blood thief mastery 'Lifeforce Thievery' is supposed to make gaining powers from a vampire (or supernatural with the other mastery power) completely anonymous as the Blood Thief is no longer feeding from the vampire/supernatural. Thus no blood is taken as the powers are transferred via touch.

Every wasn’t fed on, is the problem to why she lost blood, Amalea touched her and took her powers. The blood thief mastery isn’t supposed to alert the one stolen from - it’s why some players didn’t react to it well.

Okay, so, I marked this urgent because I've had a couple of people come to me, looking for answers. They brought up the fact that it is affecting their gameplay, because they spent the two million and pxp (in some cases, the 300 pxp) needed for a mastery that doesn't seem to be working properly. Hopefully there's a little more insight on this for them. ~

Whatever it is, it’s still going on. Amalea touched Every and dropped her blood in the lab the other day. The point of the power was not to alert the vampire their powers were being stolen.

I've fixed it so that no message is shown (sorry, I didn't realise what I'd set the in game power description to). But the target does still lose blood, because the BT gains blood. But they won't be alerted about it.

The target shouldn't be losing blood, though. Nor should the BT be gaining it.

The power is supposed to transfer by touch, so there shouldn't be a blood exchange.

When the power was first released, there was no blood loss/gain. This only started after the second mastery was added, if I recall right.

I'm sorry Boss but I think Kitty is right... unless it was broken to begin with and the wording needs to be tweaked? Marking as NOT fixed for now and keeping thread open

It was only recently (since the last set of mastery powers I think) that this became an issue.

When the power was first released, it worked properly - no blood exchange and no message to the vampire.
