There is something you can do on your end though:

1) Navigate to your youtube app icon and pull up the options for it by pressing the icon for a few seconds.
2) Scroll down to App settings, which should have a 'set as default' category
3) Press the 'set as default' for a few seconds and when you lift your finger away, it'll pull up a new screen
4) Look at 'Go to Supported URLs". This is what causes the youtube app to automatically pop up every time there's a youtube video on your page
5) Set it to 'always ask' by holding down 'Go to supported URLs'

This should make it so that rather than making the youtube app pop up, it instead asks you in browser what to do with it. And you can choose to: pull up the app, have the video play in browser, or just tap somewhere else on the screen to dismiss the request as they pop up.

I've done this on all my devices now, finally! >.< LOL

Thank You So Much, Josh!!! <3 <3 <3 You have helped me be less stabby stabby at the world.

First thing. It opens in VLC player, not the youtube app. I've done everything short of deleting the VLC player app. I followed the directions Josh posted. even did the same steps with VLC player and when using the Path App, it still auto opens the youtube videos without permission in VLC player.
