Is there a place where you can see what the story is so far? I think I saw it once, but, I don't remember where I saw it.

Yes, for Path.
it's on the wiki. It needs updating but the beginnings of Path's history are there.
(and a itty bitty bit of Blood's)

It's a shame it hasn't been updated in over a year. I would like to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Theodora(sp?) was found, deep under the Labyrinth....
It was a bit of a disaster, ic and ooc ways. >.<

That's pretty much the extent of it, actually.

Theodosia was released and set free by the actions taken in the throne room about a year ago to the date. The rift began to slowly expand and stopped after sometime to the current boundaries that it sits in. There's the cure and the shades, too, don't forget those.

We could probably get it started again if we work towards a goal. There's rumors about the bombing, could do something regarding that? We don't know what NADUMA does, either.

Hmm, I am curious about all this.

I’ll be up to hashing out some ideas with others regarding the chapters and their consequences. We don’t seem to have much in the way of support from our developers, but, there can’t be much harm in at least exploring our options.

I’m personally of the opinion that we bomb HR City and move to Alaska. No, seriously. It looks nice there and is somewhat isolated – correct me if I am wrong – so it would be a great place for a new hideout. We could reinstate the Masquerade and start over. >.>

Levi will be up for shooting fools.
We can put Myk in a straight-jacket.
Claude can continue to document events.
And my others are pretty much silent at this point, so, it works for me!

:))

Ha… Selfish.

It depends on where you are, like I'm in Anchorage and its like any other city in the US with the exception of wildlife roaming freely to the point moose will sit on cars and walk into hospitals, but the bush (northern slope in particular, there's some parts out west and down in the panhandle) is pretty isolated.

Think like 40 Days of Night. You have to fly groceries in during the winter months in certain areas, communities have to use snowmobiles, ATVs and boats if they're not connected via roadway or ferry.

BUT. We also have a **** load of sun in the summer (we get maybe one hour of dusk, I have a picture around here somewhere) and it stays brighter the further north you go (Barrow has like 67 day of no sun in the winter and 80 days of straight sunlight in summer). We're known as the land of midnight sun.

ETA: But we also have super lenient gun toting laws...which I could see Harper Rock getting behind as you do not need to be registered to carry. So.

I suppose it’s easy enough to think about the benefits of having Vampires in a region that boasts 2 months of endless night. It’s harder to consider the drawbacks of having damn near 3 months of endless day, however.

With the way that the canon works (forcing Vampires into torpor when the sun rises), most Vampires would be straight up unplayable during the summer, which isn’t very fair. However, the grid isn’t coded to acknowledge this very much allowing for 24 hour play time currently, so in my opinion, it would be better for everyone to just relax this RP rule so that they are indoor bound instead of comatose if the Alaska move went ahead.

I could spend weeks thinking about this and getting all excited, but I won’t. There’s no point without the consent of the developers.

Well, why don’t we as players in a community that want to become active get together some time in an OOC chat and discuss how we can get the game moving forward again on the levels that we can? All threads count as impact threads now - and the activity could potentially move the developers back in this direction?

I can try to be available for this Saturday, provided it's not an unreasonable hour. I'm from the UK and I can struggle to give the best of myself when it gets past midnight.
