Yeah I had thought it might end up being a few days just trying to find what I wanted. I often forget it's...not actually required to do all of the work to make a character.

You could look at it like that or you could just look at it as having a story that you want to tell and not putting extra obstacles in your path.

I have a hard time writing, sometimes more than others. For me, getting too hung up about each and every detail having to be picture perfect is the quickest way for me to never get started writing at all. But that's just me and I obsess if I am not careful.

You do what works for YOU. <3

Some of us just need to do less rather than more and that doesn't mean we skipped out on doing part of the 'work'. ;) Besides, games are about playing not working. If something stresses you out, it stops being fun.

I usually have to work out 90% of the detail before I am satisfied with my posts. It does create obstacles to actually writing anything, but I'm worried I'm going to miss out on something if I don't have the majority in my head!

Damed if I do, etc. So I know the feeling.

If you do enjoy researching odd diseases, however, I recommend you watch the TV show House.

Also, I point to any blood disease toward the kidneys, pancreas, and bone marrow. Hope that helps. ^.^
