I'm going back and forth on this in my head.
I think that AI settings will help, but David and I really haven't seen to what extent the AI settings are useful yet. At one point, we were talking about introducing high end NPCs that operate using the AI system. Harder to take down than normal NPCs, which I suppose could be a good way to test how effective those are, and if they could justify eliminating the hitter cap.
Though I'm not sure when that would be ready. He and I are currently working on: Game optimization > the mobile version > enchanting > chapter 8 > assorted bug fixing
We'd probably need to shuffle around and resort our priority list, which seems like a lot just to test/show the benefits of one system.
Though yeah, theoretically AI could potentially really change the PVP game, especially if people are clumping with allies.
I'm a little less certain about traps. What's the logic behind making it so you can load a square down with one of every kind of trap?
