Sounds totally fair to me. Since dual class characters will have 6 choices, might as well have some incentive for double down classes. Was going to bridge Eph, but this actually gives me pause. >.>

That'd be pretty cool if it's a good one! The sorcerer's mastery power that currently exists is certainly one I've enjoyed having access too (though I haven't really gotten to make use of it), but I'm not totally sure something of the same level would be worth doubling down on. If it were about equal or better to the dual class powers it might be worth it, as those are rather impressive. Actually they all seemed pretty great and the main reason I haven't tried doubling down on sorcerer with Charles is because it stops how many powers he can have right there.

Though I would like to mention that because of the price of the faeshard thing needed to actually even open up the mastery path, it still may not seem as appealing to people who don't make or have large quantities of money, since switching path's costs only 50,000 whereas I think the faeshards are like 2 million? So they'd end up paying a huge amount of money just get get access to the extra ability.

Sorry if I seem really critical of this, just sort of trying to throw that out there because I figured it could be useful to keep into account?

How about a Pledge of Devotion: 30% increased chance of dealing a critical wound when defending an ally for us double-down paladin types as a grid power?

I kind of like that one, admittedly, it requires ally's which my paladin only has a few of. But as a power it's a good one.

Other suggestions for this sort of thing if they're being taken:

Sorcerers:
Human alter: Automatic boost to ritual skill and can preform rituals anywhere.
Storm: Summon a storm to deal damage over a large area

Blood thief:
Steal mastery powers
Blood empowerment: Gain additional stats boosts when feeding

Paladin:

Might of a Guardian: Significant strength and willpower boost.
Rush: Rush forwards with increased chance of hit and damage dealt, and shoving the target back.

Double-downed BT would be nice to steal T2 of Bridge Powers, thought I like the stat boost idea from feeding.

Actually, maybe it would make sense for doubling down on a path to open up the mastery list as well? Because then these would be a whole lot more applicable.

Just thought I might throw that out there in case anybody else thought it was a good idea.

While I like the idea, and reckon double down characters need something mastery wise to balance the second class mastery choices (eventually)... since only humans can double down, that would make it unfair to have them save the shard cash.
