If I bought from one of your alts I'd still be able to interact with Rhett, because it's anon and I don't know I'm buying from one of your alts. Pretty sure.
I rarely get the cheat code, honestly. I've bought stuff from people's alts (and found out after the fact) but haven't had any issues continuing to interact with them on grid like normal.
I wondered about the anon factor of the auction, myself, when I was trying to buy guns for Beckett on the auction. The only guns he could afford, I was continuously getting the cheat code, even though I had no idea who I was even trying to buy from.
I found out, eventually, that I was trying to buy from Tiamat, who Flynn had passed firearm parts to.
Of course, I never really tried it in reverse...to see if Flynn were to buy something from her on the auction, and then if she could pass a gun to Beckett and/or Beckett pass something to her and have it work.

Yeah, I rarely see stuff on auction either. It used to be one of the main places Amalea got her ingredients so I’d love to see more stuff up. She rarely posts for stuff since Fact/Fiction is a horrible place to do so and she rarely gets replies. She’s happy to do rituals for people as long as she has or they supply the ingredients.

Well, if that was the main reason for the change is the lack of getting ingreds/finding ingreds, wish we could have had a discussion about it first. Cause I have a few characters sitting on stuff (admittedly so, some having no ties to large families, or people who ever ask for stuff), so I never put up. I also just kinda assume there's a slew of stuff since once upon a time everyone seemed to B and E and put junk up.
In essence, what is done, is done. I know money is easier to get on path than b and e stuff. However, since the chance came...I feel as if b and ers are forced to become ritualists, or crafters and maybe that makes sense, but maybe some characters just want to make oodles of money. So I am hoping that B and E gets idk...something to compensate for the loss between traps and rituals via Aeryn. Or, guess I'll just have tons of B and Ers and crafters/ritualists. though...I already have a fair few of those without the B and E aspect...so D:

I'm not sure how this makes B&Eers moot? There are still PC ritualists who need ritual ingredients and if everyone dropped out of doing B&E, those ritualists would be stuck.
Aeryn doesn't do tomes. And like Kira says, not everyone has the money. PC ritualists are still a requirement, and thus so are PC B&Ers. Right?

Well, because of a few reasons...
1. Traps are pretty non-existant, or I thought you could put 2 per square, someone told me only 1 per square. So they've already taken a loss there from the good ole days.
2. Now I can't give things to aeryn. Sure, she can't make tomes, but sometimes I want her to do other things that I have ingreds for.
3. No one really ic broadcasts they ritual anymore. How is my character supposed to know who to go to? And sometimes, people liked using aeryn because it's annon. Going to a PC ritualist defeats that point.

There’s nowhere for a human ritualist to really advertise. Vampires have thier business crownet board but if a human wants to advertise it’s either has to be by word of mouth or a post on Fact/Fiction.
Maybe part of the solution is a community board for the city that everyone can ise for such things?

What's wrong with fact or fict?
sorry, guess I'm not catching the big deal of advertising there?

I’ve never had good success with it since it seems a lot of people ignore that board given it’s meant to be a place to discuss vampires and conspiracy theories. It’s not intended to be used for business advertising (well I suppose some businesses would fit well there) so it would be nice to have somewhere for general city-wide discussion like events, businesses, etc. IMO as a player anyway.

Ahh, that's true. Though, there is also the human crownet...food for thought.

There is, but it doesn’t help with reaching vampires
