I sort of hope there is never really a way to get rid of shades totally on grid (besides the human side becoming a vampire again), because I like that the only real way to resolve the problem is through roleplay.

Like even if David were to add them to grid, repeatedly murdering the shade or hospitalizing the human would not realistically fix the damage to the relations.

I also love the position it puts the cured in. Do they become outlaws? Do they reveal to the general public the nature of the cure? If so does the public believe them? Do they become absolved through this revelation? Or does the revelation damn them and those who administer the cure? Like there are a ton of different ways for this to be played, and I'm excited to see it unfold.

Yep. People can witness the activities too. Assuming they survive vicious attacks, they would be able to ID the shade as the human.

David will need to poke this to be sure, but I imagine they would retain the height since killers are more physical vampires.

The part I'm not sure about is if the shade would continue to grow in height (I assume yes). And if the human would reflect that growth or remain at the same height.

Bear in mind though that the growth of killers is super slow and happens over a long period of time.

Same rules as vampires.

Could a Blood Thief theoretically feed on one then for their powers?

As of right now, the only possible action is the human getting re-sired. But only the vampire side of them knows that (instinctually).

That would involve a lot of coding, and wouldn't serve much purpose because they enter public buildings and attack people and then leave.

I'd say writer's choice, but from a grid perspective it doesn't change anything because the victim still can't tell them apart in the brief moments they are being skirmish attacked.

They are the same as the original vampire, so the answer would be whatever the answer was for the original vampire.

Exactly. And that's totally the dev opinion lol.
