Shadis chuckled as she waved her hand at Lockland’s words and the ghost re-appeared once more while frowning at what appeared to be an arrangements of sorts forming between paladin and vampire. ”I’m not going to lie to you Mr Lockland, a lot of opinions that is formed by the general populace is appearances. If a paladin appears to be working with a vampire, then perhaps they may see that vampires are not so bad. After all, paladins were created to kill vampires. However, what if we shift the view, so then it appears as if that role for paladins have changed, that now, paladins act more as vampire control, to control those vampires that have gotten out of hand.”

A slow smirk curved her lips as she angled her head and viewed the man before her for a moment, ignoring the ghost as quietly stood there listening to the conversation. You won’t be saying anything really, your mere appearance would be enough, however I don’t want to get ahead of myself. I still need to properly form a plan of attack. Although if you were to say anything, it would be somewhat scripted, so you wouldn’t have to worry too much about it.” Another pause, before she pursed her lips for a few seconds. Indeed, she couldn’t get too far ahead of herself, because if she did, then she may be getting his hopes up for nothing.

”Anyway, that’s for another conversation a fair distance from now.” Shadis said with a gentle smile and patted him on the shoulder before she glanced at the ghost. It was rather quiet and it made her uneasy. Why of all times did it have to appear now? ”As for the tried, well, you tried but saw the error of your ways before you were successful. I can’t say that I would even be bothered to hold a grudge about it, but if you really want to make it up to me. When I call, I hope that you will answer. Also, I do wish to know more about your kind, but I’m afraid I must go. Things to do with little time really.”

As he listened he nodded his had to himself a few times in thought, definitely smiling at the mention that he wouldn't actually need to do much of the talking and his presence might be enough. He knew as for scripted things he might want to read them over first, but it suited him just fine. He wasn't a speaker, since he was a paladin, he was a warrior.

Lockland smiled and clapped his hands together, "Well then I'll certainly do my best to answer if you call Miss Shadis." he said nodding again as he paused. "Right then, if you're leaving then, farewell for now! Hopefully we'll meet again and I can make up for the attempted murder while trying to fix the ridiculous relations between humans and vampires. Until next time hm." he said.

In his mind, this had turned out better then expected. He came here with the intent of finding a vampire with ill intent perhaps, but would be leaving with a hope that in the future he could rectify what actions he had taken while possibly helping both the vampire and the human communities. He wondered if whatever other Paladins might be around would see him as a traitor to their cause.

If things came to combat he'd protect those he could, but if he could help to ease the violence he would. As much as he knew he would become much less useful to anyone without there being some war going on he knew that it was better that way. He had come to find purpose in fighting, but if that purpose didn't lead to something better, a peace, it was all worthless. And if everything this Shadis Divinus said was true, then he could very well help to bring about that peace.
