Live chat and internal error [f]

Possibly related: I just made a post of between 700-800 words. Went to post, and it did the usual thing it does when it's about to post. However, it took a little longer than normal.

In fact, I've noticed it seems to take longer these days for posts of any variety to go through, which I assumed was related to RPP and the RP loot system.

Anyway, it timed out and I got an internal server error.

However, when I hit the back button, I noticed that my post had gone through.

I am not sure if I got the RPP. Will try it again soon and report findings here.

Same thing happens to me every single time I make a post. It's a hit and miss thing on whether I get the rpp or not. I've taken to writing down my rpp before the post and after the post, just to compare. Because I've gotten the error, found out it posted, and then didn't get the rpp. I've had to delete said post, repost, and gotten the rpp. :/

I know Chloe mentioned that she seems to get the error more frequently (paraphrasing), when she submits from the preview screen. Less so when she just tosses up a reply from the regular submit message screen.

Yes I always try to preview. And I am always in the Full Editor Mode

I also always use the preview/full edit mode every time. I've only had two failures to post, however, out of about forty-ish posts since the first time I saw it? Certainly not every time I use preview. I preview everything. Because I suck at closing tags sometimes. >.>

Yeah, I preview before every post. If that helps any. ><

Preview never, ever, ever gives me this error - on any browser I use.

I've only gotten the error twice - maybe three times - and it was in normal mode - meaning, no preview, full editor, etc.

Thinking about it more, as i read everyone's comments. I usually get the error on the larger posts. 200 - 300 typically go through pretty easy.

I do recall that the last couple of posts that I did in the hardcore, both had to be be deleted and reposted for rpp. One of them, cant remember which, told me it timed out. So I reposted.. only to find I had posted it twice. So i had to delete one, and it took away the rpp from the one I did post.. So I actually lost rpp.. because the first post (which was flagged as a time out) didnt get any rpp.

Yeah, my posts below 300 go through perfectly fine, as do the ones I write with Chloe without previewing anything because I can go back in to edit.

With that being said, though, I have noticed if I go in to edit a post of mine to add a few words or so, the rpp doesn’t change.

I'll keep an eye on the RPP now. I mean, it does take a few minutes from the preview screen to post, but I never received the error. I never thought to see if it actually went in RPP wise or not.
