I have a question! Well more of a clarification

How much do the characters know ICly right now about the existence of this cure/ rumor/thing. Do they know about the reports going around and the APB put out by the government for help?

not that I am aware of. No new news headlines at the bank or rumours in the clubs yet. (that I found)
