Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
As Runi drove his mind began to analyze the situation something about it seemed off. He knew that she wasn't taking him back out of lust or to get back at someone. Every bit about how she moved in the way she spoke. He deftly knew that this wasn't going end in sex or the likelihood was very low. He couldn't understand exactly what she was after curiosity what had gotten the best of him.
Looking back at this later he was probably going to be like if I had only known. Would this have gone down differently? Probably.
As he pulled in behind her for a moment he closed his eyes as he mentally felt where his gun in the middle of his his back, the small six shooter with an ankle holster on his right leg, the two brass knuckles the inside of his jacket on the right side, Bowie knife on the right side of his jacket and last the small knife hidden in his left boot.
Runi slowly took off his helmet and placed it on the back of the bike. He combs through his hair getting it back to his normal style for slowly getting off the bike in making his way up the steps and taking a seat down beside her and one of the chairs. He reaches to the inside of his jacket and pulls out a pipe. then he pulls it up to his mouth reaches down on the top pushes down and takes a deep inhale since it was a vape pipe. Then he slowly positioned his mouth just right and begin to let out small rings of vape. The vapor smell was a raspberry and softened essence of hibiscus flower. Least that what the bottle says. He mostly likes the raspberry.
Looks at Clover " You did not bring me here to **** me, I bet your one hell of a ride. Your the type guy hate when you brake up but still dream of ******* you years later I bet. But you're not looking give me a job. You don't seem like the type to need man scare off a guy. So why am I here?"

Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
Some part of her felt proud of him, of his awareness, of his ability to speak his mind. The larger part of her wondered the very same, and she had been asking that question from the beginning. Why was he there, Clover? Why him? And she always answered that he reminded her of Victor, and that made everything alright, that made everything okay. The man’s habits, as they differed from Victor’s habits, faded into the background like a soothing white noise. The moment the scent of raspberries flooded the air, she came to the conclusion that she wanted the man. She wanted him in the way that someone wanted an object, and yet in the way that someone longed for another. Owning him, obtaining him, meant making amends for past transgressions. Keeping the man close to her meant keeping the smallest portion of Victor close to her. Kenny had distanced herself. Pera had distanced herself. Even Kaelyn, once seen as quite annoying, though quite determined to form bonds, had disappeared.
“You remind me of someone,” Clo finally admitted, her answer coming after a long few minutes of silence. “I could **** you,” Clo continued, “but I’d rather not.” She’d considered mentioning her marriage, bringing up how happy she was with Jesse, how things would eventually go on the upswing and fall back into place, as puzzle pieces often did, when under a steady hand and a stream of patience. “It’s enough that you remind me of him.”
For the first time, Clo approached the situation with some consideration for her victim, if the man could be considered a victim at all. Sitting beside him, calmly talking to him, she began to doubt the use of such a word. Her thoughts, scattered, tried to locate the appropriate word, but she came up empty-handed.
“Maybe I brought you here because I wanted you all to myself. I’m a selfish woman,” Clo thought aloud, sharing every bit of herself with him then. “Maybe I want to keep you forever.” It was said in a light-hearted tone, but she meant every word. “Tell me your name, your real name. Tell me your name and I promise I’ll surprise you.” She smiled then, a smile that conveyed such sincerity that the expression hurt. Normally, she would have pounced, but not then. He deserved better. He deserved more, the more she’d never gotten to give to her motley crew, the small family she’d had in that bar. She meant to pour everything into the time they had together, however short, and go without regrets.

Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
As soon as she began to talk he instantly realize exactly why he had followed her why she had gotten his attention not with the beer butt with her mannerisms the first time. Maybe his mind was a bit more clouded by the beer and mead than he thought or he was distracted. He was distracted by her pretty face and that lovely frame. He knew why she had got his attention he knew why he followed her he knew why all of that hit him in one instance as he knew what this night was going to be about.
He was a killer, a murder a man that had no problem taking a life just because someone paid him a lump sum or gave him a good enough reason. The killing was something that he enjoyed. She was a hunter he knew it at this point this game wasn't about lust, it was about death. whoever's he reminded her of whatever the situation that had brought on the actions she was taking now. All depending on how he played the game depending on how long that he made before the first shots were fired. He was on her turf he didn't know what she had on her and what she had hidden around the house.
He probably could've got on his bike and rode out of there. But now that the trap was set he wanted to play the game. He wanted to see if he could come out alive he had set this situation up for other people. He wanted to see what happened.
It had been a long time since someone had heard his name his actual name. He had not used it for over 20 years, he said a list of aliases that he liked, they were all names that were very common and easily forgotten for a white guy. He also carried multiple licenses with the names that match we could be who he needed to be when he wanted. Outlaw whats want most new him by Outlaw that all he was his own type of out law.
He took several slow long puffs before he responded "Outlaw, the only name that matters".

Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
An alias. Clo clicked her tongue the moment she heard him utter the name, but she chose not to respond, not right then. He wasn’t running, and that meant a lack of a chase, or so she had to assume; however, a lack of chase didn’t necessarily mean a lack of fun. She reached around toward her lower back and produced a handgun. She turned it around in her hands, admiring her own handiwork. In fact, the gun wasn’t a perfect piece of art, but it’d been one of her firsts, and she couldn’t part with the piece. She emptied the bullets and then put the gun down on the ground, planning on picking it up later. After all, unless he got some serious hits on her, enough to drain her and critically injure her, she’d waltz away to collect the weapon.
“You know that isn’t your name,” she sighed, “but I’ll still share something with you.” She shook her head at him, but she closed her eyes. When she reopened them, she flashed him her eyes, the eyes of the beast. Serpentine in nature, her pupils were oblong, like a slit through her eye. As soon as she flashed him her eyes, she blinked and her eyes returned to normal. “Now let’s talk about what’s going to happen next. You could run, but I think you already know I’ll find you.” She stopped there and looked him over once more. He wasn’t a bad-looking guy, not in the least. He wasn’t what she’d normally collect, but she made exceptions. He could have easily been an exception. “However,” she said, her hands resting on her knees, “if you choose to fight, I won’t hesitate to fight back and, ultimately, gut you like a fish.” With a sigh, she lifted herself to her feet. “I really want this to be a fun game for the both of us, so I won’t use my gun and I promise not to strangle you to death. If you win, I won’t come after you. I give you my word that I’ll leave you alone.” She smirked then and produced a knife from within her jacket, a short, jagged blade already stained with dried blood. “Questions, comments, or suggestions?”

Runi watched as her eyes slowly change instead of reacting with fear he reacted with pleasure a slow smile slowly crept across his face as he leaned his head down a little bit and begin to look out the bottom of his eyes in a predatory manner. In response to her eyes changing soft growl that left his lips his eyes flashed as well but not likes hers. his eyes were full of excitement she knew this was going to be fun regardless as he lived through it or if he died this was going to be a day worth remembering.
If he killed a demon it was a good day if he died fighting a demon who cares he earned his way into Valhalla and he went out with a bang. She was going to give him one of his favorite things the reason he lived, she was going to give him that moment between life and death. Those moments leading up to it well everything moves so fast where your senses are at max capacity for the world itself is what it was truly meant to be. Where you enjoy every single second of it where everything is for once real not slow boring and pointless.
He knew pain was coming. There was something about that moment when a bullet pierced your flesh, a knife went into your skin. That look in someone else's eyes when they plan on ripping you apart. The truthfulness of the moment to him it was like a symphony there was nothing more perfect nothing more beautiful. The art of killing was the most beautiful thing that the first time he had ever experienced he had never forgotten the feeling each time the high was similar but never the same you can never reach back to that beginning the first time that glorious moment that life or death battle with the other man ended up dead.
he listened to her words for threat but he really wasn't paying attention to it his mind was focused on everything the movement of the trees and the sounds that were made around them everything he concentrated on the moment slowing it down her voice almost like background noise capturing the whole moment in his mind.

" To Valhalla with my soul!" before reach back pulling out his 9 mm and taking the first shot. He had a feeling that he would miss which is something he wasn't used to. But running wasn't something that he was used to something he didn't believe in.“Questions, comments, or suggestions?”

Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
He pulled out a gun, and she wondered if it would have been more fun to have a real display of moxy, one bathed in bullets, but that thought quickly faded from her mind. She’d brought a knife to a gun battle. She had a moment’s hesitation, and that’s all it took for the first bullet to bite into her thigh. She let out a string of profanities, and then she went at him. Instead of thrusting the blade into his rib cage and dragging it up along his chest, she took the solid handle of the blade and drove it down on his head.
When she withdrew, she withdrew to dig the bullet out of her thigh. Clo thrust her nails into the open wound until she felt the smooth edges of the bullet. With gritted teeth, she extracted the bullet and tossed it off to the side. She didn’t care if she got hit, not when she could replace the blood lost, and her concern only dropped. The wound ached, throbbing in time with her heavy breathing. When the blood eventually slowed, she lashed out once more, though she lashed out with an elbow to his ribs. She wanted to break them, to shatter each and every bone. Because he’d landed a hit. Because he engaged her in combat. Because she liked it. The challenge. The exchange. The overall thrill.

Runi was really confused that his bullet missed his mark missing shots wasn't something that he was used to. Before you had a chance to pull the trigger a second time she was already on him he was confused how she managed to move that fast but it didn't waver his concentration.
He was about to pull the gun for a second shot even though she was close he figured he could get a second shot most likely into her stomach which can only stop most people cold but he had a feeling he was probably going to have to empty a clip in her before she felt any at all. As you raised up his gun aiming to shoot her in the stomach
Then suddenly there was a painful strike to the side of his head that completely blew his world the world was now upside down and backwards." ******* *****". Everything was confusing he was trying to bring his gun up and steady his mind and his feet. He tried to widen his stance and bring his mind to focus on his feet all the way up trying to control his breathing as he took a second shot aiming for her gut.
His vision was still a bit blurry he wasn't even sure if he was going to hit her or shoot completely wide of his mark. He knew inside that he was about to get his *** beat with a knife in a gunfight. But if he was going to lose at least he was going to make her remember him. He was going to die with a smile on his face to the very last drop of his blood his body was going to fight.

Re: Viking Life, blood , mead,
She’d wanted a knife fight, but she felt just as content breaking him apart with her bare hands. So while he tried to recover from her onslaughts, she tucked the knife into one of her jacket pockets and took off the outer layer. A boxer might have bobbed and weaved, but she wasn’t a boxer and she had no patience for such things. When she heard the gun go off, she fully intended to take the hit and keep on going, but the bullet tore through the muscle in her leg and sent her to one knee on the ground. The blood loss alone made her feel as if she were slowly being bled dry. She needed to work on her resistance to such attacks, but what she lacked in that category, she made up for in pure skill and ingenuity.
She didn’t want to heal the wound, but she had to stop and reverse the blood loss. Clo had to dig around in the wound and produce the bullet, repeating her previous actions. Getting to her feet took more time. Where she might have been furious, she felt a cool rage that shook her very core. She moved with an obvious limp, but she moved nonetheless. And when she reached him again, she went directly for the head. One hand curled into a tight fist, she brought it down on the right side of his skull, as if she were trying to collapse that portion of his parietal bone.
*****, he’d said. ******* *****. And she felt that way, most of the time. The words had never bothered her before, and they bothered her very little then. But the more she broke him, the more she aimed for important bones on his body, she realized she had to make a decision. Did she really want him dead? Loud. Rude. All-around disrespectful. Did he really have anything to offer, anything at all? The way he spoke, the way he moved, he reminded her so very little of Victor. That fact made her want to kill him, because how dare he deceive her. And yet she knew, without further consideration, that she’d spare him, that she’d dust him off and take him home and attempt to teach him. She knew she’d turn him.
