‹Enver_Marshall› He had finished his shot of vodka, then motioned for another one as Enver undid the top button of his white button down. "Women." He muttered before snorting, eyes roaming around to all the party goers, especially the two with some beast of a guy near the,. "Call security, would you" Enver told the bar tender.
Zoey Jane "Pff... You're ridiculous." Zoey touched her nose to Blake's for a moment, before releasing her waist only to take her hand. Fingers clasped gently, she gave a gentle tug. "Show me around and take me for a drink?"
Amalea nodded, "Of course, Ms. McGee." She slipped the woman her card, "Please call on Monday and I'd be happy to find a time to meet with you. Tonight, however, I plan to have a bit of fun, so please excuse me." She nodded politely at the woman, before turning to Doc, "Shall we?"
Sage eyes him bravely while holding the bottle he didn't have right to in his hand. "Before or after you crack the last rib?" His chest rose with the question. "we forgot our tux's at the dry cleaners."
Doc inclined his head politely. Barely. To Mona. Yes he could envision a runaway vehicle running her down and splattering her about the sidewalk. He wasn't going to say anything if he did not have to. And Lea gave him his opening. "Of Course.. as you wish." he intoned politely, as though Lea's words were his command. And surprise! They were. Doc led Lea on a sweeping promenade of the theater.
Adley Reed winked one gem-like blue eye through the mask -- his was metal, too, cold against his cold skin. "Always here to play, even if work is involved," he said. The tone was suggestive, his gaze slipping from Eve if only to seek out the slender white-clad Indigo -- he didn't spot her straight up. Was this payback, for having sent her here to arrive on her own? "What are some of your favorite games?" he asked, turning back to Eve.
Indigo set the wrap of faux fur on the surface of the bar in front of her. Her fingers sank into the soft depths before retreating to accept the champagne flute offered to her.
Mordechai was not in a tux either, though silk and leather of the darkest black covered him from shoulder to toes, "I assume you have at least some black?" an eyebrow cocked as he waited
Salvador› Sal nodded, because Sage had the better ideas between the two of them. "So we wore our Sunday best instead." He snorted, munching on something else he didn't know what the **** it was. But it was free.
Blake laughed softly and gave Zoey's hand a squeeze. "That'll do to begin with..." A hint at things later to come as Blake began to lead Zoey through the crowd until they made it to where she'd seen Enver procure the glasses of champagne, one glass procured for Zoey first and then herself.
Sage not missing a beat. "I got some black alright. But if I whip it out and show it to you we might all get free lifts out of here." He winked like it was a known fact.
Amalea laughed softly after they were earshot of the reporter, "Sorry about that. One interview and in the limelight apparently."
‹Salvador› Salvador snorted into Sage's arm before waving a hand at his face. Was it getting hot in here, or was it just him?
Mordechai leaned forward as one massive hand landed on a shoulder of each lad, "Although I doubt you were...I was... invited. It would not be good to anger the management of this establishment tonight."
Enver_Marshall› Enver noticed the white shawl and glanced over to Indigo. "Miss Knight." He grinned over at her, before lifting his glass. "Where's Adley gone to?" He attempted to glance around, but his gaze went a little too fast for his liking, so he didn't try too hard. "I think I should be giving a speech soon." He admitted with another chuckle.

Doc smirked and sort of laughed, "You too.. " He leaned toward her, "I gave her an alien story to report. Granted she thinks she uncovered it herself.. but.. well.. you know how these things work.."
Mona McGee found herself standing there alone and spotted Mr Marshall packing away a few drinks at the bar. She could use one herself and why the **** not he seemed to be half *** honest half of the time. At least she had never dug up any dirt on him other that early arrests in his troubled days ... She approached him " Mr Marshall You throw one hell of a party Buy a girl a drink ?"
Amalea shook her head, "Aliens and she believed that?"
‹Every› "Work hard, play harder. Always the best type of a day." She smirked before her gaze moved towards her cousin. An eyebrow lifted as she noticed his intake of alcohol. Recalling a comment about alcoholism, the shadow rolled her eyes before looking back to Adley. "I'm rather fond of Chess, actually. Yourself?"
‹Salvador› Salvador almost fainted when he felt big, manly hands on his shoulder. "Wouldn't mind angering you." He said with a wink before sighing. "Fine, one drink and then we're gone." How long that drink took was anyone's best guess.
Doc shrugged, "She printed it.. maybe she was going for sales.. maybe she believed me.. who is to say?"
Indigo hand was rising to return the acknowledgment. "Mr. Marshall." Her exotic blues drifted briefly and located Adley who was enjoying himself. "He is appearing to be in good company with your cousin isn't she?" She sipped from her glass. "Speech time?"
‹Mordechai› "I did not say leave, only...control, this one night." Shaking his head he stood back up to his full height, "It will not kill you" A low rumble echoed from his chest as the massive killer chuckled to himself
Adley Reed laughed. "Chess? I'm too restless for something like that. I prefer ... twister, maybe," he said. A child at heart, as per usual.
‹Enver_Marshall› His line of vision rolled over to Miss McGee then and there, before he gave her a lazy grin. "Miss McGee. My favorite, almost reporter." He said in a slur of speech. "Of course. Whatever the lady wants. As much as she wants. On the house." He slammed the bar's surface with his open palm.
Sage jaw dropped listening to the one who actually did kill them...or close as it could get. "In that case perhaps we should order one of those endless mugs or shot glasses?"
Zoey Jane took a sip of the bubbly drink from the glass, then turned to let her eyes scan the rest of the theater. "It feels weird..."
Enver_Marshall looked to Miss Knight. "Technically, but you know we're not of the same family anymore. So who knows?" He said with a snort and roll of his eyes. "Definite pain in my ***." He said with a nod of his head, forgetting about the speech for now...Miss McGee and Miss Knight both had his attention.
Mordechai 's hands tightened on their shoulders for a moment, before releasing, "Thank you, I was sure you would understand"
Salvador› "Belly shots!" Sal said, jumping up and down while clapping his hands.
Every couldn't help but chuckle, a soft shake of her head, "You would be surprised at what you'd be able to accomplish if you put your mind to it." Her teeth showed as she smiled that time, her fangs, however were hidden. "Twister, though, is fun. As is soccer."
Mona McGee raised a eyebrow " Well well Mr Marshall don't tell me your drunk .. and what is this about Family ? " Mona knew she had walked into something but she wasn't quite sure what it was yet .

Blake held her drink lightly and nonchalantly wrapped an arm around Zoey and pulled her just a little closer. The space between them having felt far too great. "To be around people with no pressure on you whatsoever?"
Indigo allowed the sweetness to roll around behind her lips before swallowing. "How can you not be in the same family when you..." Her eyes darted down to the one announcing belly shots. Her hand drifted beneath the bar and over her silk covered mid-line.
‹Enver_Marshall› "Take a lot more than this to get me drunk, Miss McGee." Enver said with a wink and a chuckle, leaning closer to her. "You know how it is. Always hassling you. Don't you have family?"
Zoey Jane 's lips curled into a slight smile, not quite enough to deepen the dimples in her cheeks. "Yeah," she said, soft enough that only Blake and those near could hear. "Something like that."
Sage watched Sal bouncing like he either won the showcase showdown or had some carpenter ants drilling in his pants. "Show me the belly , Spoon."
Amalea was a bit grumpy at the loss of her wonderful companion, but not at the man himself, of course. With a soft sigh, she set off to find a beverage and Blake.
Blake kissed Zoey's cheek ever so discreetly, a quick peck and nothing more. "You know how badly I've been wanting you to have this feeling? To be and feel free and like nothing matters? I'm so happy for you love."
Mona McGee› "Yeah Moms dead pops lives here in Harper Rock Your dad passed dint he ?"
Salvador› Ask, and you shall receive. Without any hesitation, Salvador lifted up his sweatshirt and showed off his belly, loud and proud. "Want to take a shot off it, big Daddy M?" '
Sage the happy-trail was such a tease to him. sal had a thick trail anyone blind could navigate. "Is pretty hard to resist." Sage agreed with his own words.
Enver_Marshall› At the mention of his dad Enver cleared his throat and narrowed his eyes. His jaw clenched and he just nodded his head. "Mom died about two years ago, too. But you would know that." He said coolly, before slurping down another sip of his vodka drink.
Indigo felt like maybe she was sitting in on something she shouldn't. Obviously this reporter knew a lot about him. Perhaps they were closer than she assumed. Her brow arched as she looked down at the bubbles snapping at the surface of her drink.
Every› The brunette glanced towards Enver, eyeing his drink before quietly speaking into the man's mind. The joy of telepathy. "You should take it easy for Gracie." Her head turned back to study the other guests, shifting her weight once more.
Mona McGee picked up the shot of whiskey that the bartender had set in front of her she raised it toward Mr Marshall " To family Mr Marshall To family " she downed the shot
Indigo she slid off the stool beneath her and drifted off towards the darkness where the empty theater was known to be.
Adley Reed nodded enthusiastically. "Soccer is good too," he said. He remembered days in his childhood, playing soccer with bare feet and red dust and shouts of childish glee. "Maybe we can swap numbers. Go play soccer sometime..." he said, following the woman's glance to the bar. And there was Indigo -- disappearing into the shadows. Adley frowned.
‹Enver_Marshall› If only he could use some powers....aeryn was good on her word after all. he would shut his cousin up for the next hour or two with her mind powers. "May they rot in hell for eternity." Enver concluded with an agreeable smile before finishing his own drink.

Zoey Jane leaned into the affection, her eyes closing briefly. It was true that she was calm; not worrying about whether what she said was wrong, or if who she spoke to was allied with the wrong people. It was only what she wanted, and Blake. She took another sip from her glass before setting it down. "Can you still dance as well as you did in your old body?"
Amalea quietly thanked the bartender as she took her customary glass of wine. Taking a sip, she scanned the crowd for the other redhead before carefully picking her way through the crowd. Steps slowed as she got closer and noticed the woman was not alone as she had originally thought.
Blake gave a slight shrug and gave Zoey a slight nudge. "I haven't tried to be honest? No one to dance with and all that...but we can certainly find out if you'd like? I don't think Enver would care in all honesty."
‹Enver_Marshall› He sighed once the drink was gone, then cleared his throat. “If you will excuse me, Miss McGee. I think I have a speech or something to give." He nodded to her quickly before he slid off the stool, his sneakers screeching on the wooden floor as he moved away from Mona. Yes. his cousin was right, damn her. Gracie.
Mordechai shook his head, he was going to have to give the pair a serious beating soon, he could feel it coming, "This is not the time nor the place, redress, now"
Zoey Jane blinked, then look around... and realized no one else was dancing. Oh. It wasn't that kind of party.
‹Zoey Jane› ... Oh.
Every wondered if she had anything she could throw at him. In her dress, which didn't have room for weapons, Every had been unfortunate enough to leave them at home. Perhaps there was a small gathering of rocks outside... "That would be fun. I don't suppose you have a pen a gal can use?" She questioned, turning slightly.
Salvador› Salvador rolled his eyes and dropped his shirt. "this party blows, let's go to the gay club across town, Cuppycake." Sal whined into Sage's ear.
Blake leaned down and whispered something in her ear with a grin.
Sage figured he knew the realities of the who warning of a beating. He went through no less than two frozen prime steaks and a few bottles of whiskey to get through it. "If it wasn't for Sal's right to party coming first I would take issue with your warning." He sniffed in a loud draw of courage and extra air he dint need. He adjusted his own waistband as he said what he had to say. With eh bottle still in hand he nodded to the door and lead the way. a brief pat of his pocket said his free movies passes were still to be found.
Adley Reed arched a brow as he turned back to Every, now, entirely distracted. He nodded as he reached into his inside pocket and retrieved a small pen. He handed it over.
'Mona McGee Noticed the woman and eyed her she took out her phone and took a quick picture of Every she Sent it to Gio a smile turned up the corners of her mouth ... He would most likely have a surprise or two for her if he could .
Amalea watched the pair while her mind debated interrupting what seemed to be a private series of moments. Unconsciously, she chewed lightly on her lip, unable to come to a decision.
Zoey Jane 's cheeks took on a shade of pink. "I would like that."
Every thanked the man as she collected the pen, followed by a napkin off a nearby table. There wasn't anything on it, much to her relief and Every wrote down her number, as well as her name. "Text me sometime." She winked, but then nodded towards the darker theater. "Perhaps you should go check on her."

Indigo and back she was leading a rather curious woman by the arm. "and the capacity for future events is really limitless. What were you interested in exactly?"
‹Salvador› With sage agreeing in his own way about the club, Sal wrapped his arms around Sage and jumped up and down excitedly He LOVED, LOVED the club in his mind. And he had Cuppycake all to himself. "Bye, Daddy M." Salvador winked at the big brute of a man before heading out
‹Enver_Marshall› Right. Speech. Enver remembered just what he was supposed to be doing now that he wasn't distracted by women. He took a deep breath in, then grabbed a glass, and another, offering it to some woman walking by. God Damn women everywhere. Enver cleared his throat, grabbed a knife off the table and clanked it together. Get the speech done with and then he could **** off.
Adley Reed opened his mouth to respond, tucking the napkin and the pen back into his pocket. But then he saw her again, Indigo, heading back out with company in tow. He stared at her, across the room, gaze intense as he waited for her to notice, wondering if she'd feel it. "... I'll see if I can use the force..."
Zoey Jane looked toward Enver.
Blake smiled and sighed happily as she held Zoey lightly before turning her attention to Enver. "I love it when you blush by the way."
Mordechai 's eyes watched the pair as he spoke into sal's mind... "Not all 'parties' are parties, this occasion is simply a gathering. "
Every could only blink at the man, until she realized what reference he was making. "Good luck with that." She smirked, giving a shake of her head before she folded her arms in front of her chest as she looked towards her cousin.
‹Zoey Jane› Temptress brat...
‹Enver_Marshall› "I want to thank the fine citizens of Harper Rock for coming out tonight, and keeping me company on New Year's Eve." His eyes looked over to Every, cringing at the word usage, only because her 'nickname' was Eve. What the hell was wrong with Every? "please, drink, eat and be merry." He said with a large chuckle, his champagne sloshing off and over the side of the glass as he went on. Obviously, his time sense was off, because he was giving his speech a little to early. It was not, close to midnight.
‹Enver_Marshall› "I've always been a believer of being true to yourself. Even when others stood against that sentiment." He said with a laugh, eyes on the crowd, his smile going from ear to ear. "And so, without further hesitation...I want you all to reveal your true self at the stroke of midnight!" And with that, he dropped his glass, and started undressing, leaving the mask in place as he appeared in his 'birthday suit.'
Indigo felt the hip of the female beside her step close then distance from her side. "I think that a nice touch would be having your own private photographer recording the evening." She spotted Adley and winked his direction. Someone caught it as well and winked back. Her face soured a bit and her head shook. She chose to save further confusion and lead the woman towards the spot Adley was standing. Just Shoot Me was about to get another booking.
Zoey Jane stared at the apparently naked man.
Every couldn't help but let out the snort that followed the fact she'd caught his cringe, clearly amused at his discomfort. And then her discomfort came clear as her expression turned one to minor horror. "Oh come on, Enver." She turned now scarred for life. ********.
Zoey Jane whispered, "You didn't tell me it was this kind of party!"
Blake simply stared and then slowly turned to look at Zoey. "I didn't know either! Are we supposed to...." She motioned to Enver with a look of apprehension.
Indigo was rather impressed that as they approached eyes were dead on Enver who apparently was unveiling from the bottom up. She heard the woman next to her gasp. "Always the life of the party that one."

Zoey Jane shook her head rapidly.
Amalea shook her head at the host. It wasn't the first time she'd seen a man parading around in their birthday suit, though the last had been on a bar and involved no alcohol. Her mind was still locked into a debate cycling between approaching the pair, finding a quiet corner and taking her leave, though she was decidedly interested in doing something fun for once as the old year passed to the new.
Mordechai let out a burst of true laughter.... his "boys" had left too soon.....
Cordelia› A late arrival to the party, Cordelia made her way into the room, tucking herself to the side before she removed her black leather jacket, revealing the silvery halter top she wore with her dark blue jeans. Dark hair bundled in a braid down her back, dragon's eyes skimming the crowd. It had been a while since she'd been properly "social," so it took some doing to move into the crowd...
Blake sighed with relief. "Thank god....I didn't want to have to remove people's eyes for looking at you."
Mona McGee snapped pictures of the Nude Enver Marshall ohhh well she knew what was going on the front cover of the next Edition of the Sun with a well placed black bar hiding his junk
Adley Reed winked back at Indigo, who started to weave her way toward him. The speech was short and sweet and, following the gasps and then the laughter, Adley realized that the host was removing his clothing. He wondered if anyone was there to take care of the man who, appearances would shout, was now seemingly drunk. He easily slipped his arm around Indigo's waist once she returned. "Is that your job? To go make sure he keeps his pants on?" he laughed, even as he reached behind his head to unhook his mask and let it slide free.
Indigo had decided that perhaps this was a point where she was going to have to inform Enver it was nearly two hours early. She went for her fur and creatively brought it over and fixed it around his waist. "Two hours early. hang on to this and I will send you the cure."
Mona McGee Started to Whistle and cat call
Enver_Marshall› Enver didn't realize that no one else was revealing their 'true self,' he was feeling too damn good. He put both hands on his hips and started to move to go back to mingling, when he was stopped by Miss Knight. Suddenly, he was lavished with white fur. Had to give her credit for being creative? "Two hours?" Damn. Well, now what was he going to do at midnight?
Indigo her face deadpanned at Adley. "I believe he has a belt that does that."
Every twitched, making a mental note to punch Enver the next time she got the chance. "Next time, I'm going to turn down the invitation." She muttered, moving towards the bar to search for a fork.
Amalea sighed, shaking her head at all the drama. Taking the distraction, she slipped quietly towards Blake. A quiet, "Good Evening, Blake and Miss" was the only announcement of her presence.
Cordelia glanced about, not much really catching her eye. She headed towards a seat, stepping up to sit on the back of it, leaning forward slightly with her hands folded at her knees. She didn't bother projecting "natural" shadows. She felt reasonably comfortable.
Mona McGee› "Hey Marshall Do you want me to send you copies of these ?" Mona waved her camera at him
‹Mona McGee› she had long removed the memory card from experience
Adley Reed found one of those tall tables to lean against, chuckling to himself as he watched Indigo with Enver, Eve having wandered off to the bar. With the mask dangling in one hand and the other free, he was happy to merely peruse the crowd.
Blake smiled as Lea made her presence known. "Lea! About time you got your butt over here. Lea, this is Zoey....Zoey, this is Lea." She paused trying to figure out how to explain one to the other but felt it better left alone for now.
