Was it a bit much? Three hundred for the frame and two hundred for the painting itself? Lita didn't think so. “If you want, we could keep the frame and you could have the painting for two hundred and fifty dollars.” Lita suggested at the male showed her some more money, just as Wynifred came up beside her. Adelita didn't even want to turn to look at the painting, afraid what might happen.

"What's going on?" She asked Adelita, then looked at the male. "Who's your friend?" She asked, in her bubbly nature. “Not a friend. Just someone I'm doing business with.” Adelita said, then had to turn to look at Wynifred, reluctantly, eyes still off the painting. “He's going to buy your painting. Maybe the frame too. Either way, the painting isn't coming in my car.” Adelita reminded her thrall, the other woman's eye brows going up high as her eyes turned towards Adelita. "But-I-" Adelita interjected with a wave of her hand. “Give him the damn painting, Whinny. You didn't even want it, and we could split what we get, fifty, fifty.” Wynifred glared at Adelita, the woman sighing and rolling her eyes. “Fine. Forty, sixty.” She pointed at Wynifred letting her know that her thrall was going to get the sixty percent. "Fine. Whatever." Wynifred complained, clearly unhappy. "Whatever she said is the price." Wynifred walked away from the cart with crossed arms and out the building. “Seems we're in agreement. Two fifty for the painting, or five hundred for both. Your choice.” Lita concluded, jutting her left hip out a little, a hand extending for the cash.

(Ooc...how did I miss this. I'm sure I checked multiple times. Sorry.)

He frowned, but prepared to hand over the two hundred fifty dollars, "Yeah, alright, just the painting itself."
He began to worry if this would actually work out, but he hoped it would. In the end all that mattered was he got something out of it. If it were money, then good, but if he had to use it to make himself appear more genuine, then so be it. He didn't like it, but no matter how much he wanted to be the winner in every situation there were some cases he had to just try and go with what he had. Just like here.

This may not turn out well. He thought.
