Is there a way to program a 'minimize'? so people on cells or older comps dont have to automatically load it?
If it is slowing people down already, its only going to get worse as more layers are added.
My initial thought was that all the models looked the same generic age.

Please.
The grid has been lagging on my end for a few days now.
Not only looking through the inventory, but hacking and killing NPCs too.

I can honestly do without it, due to laggage.

It basically means I cannot sign in to the game in any public place, and not even on my phone for fear a student might pass behind me and see a mostly naked woman on my screen.
I understand why they are naked, so you can build them up, but can the default while there are not clothes available, please be clothed. Even if you just colored it to look like a scuba suit it would be much safer for those of us who like to play in public places.
Yep the default will be clothed. You're right, I'll hide the avatars after I'm done working on them each day.

That's a good point, and I'll include an option for disabling all major graphics while mobile.

I'm just sad that all the artwork on the CS pages won't get to be seen anymore, more than anything else. I've seen some freaking awesome CS sets. Being able to customize that page was a huge draw for me when I started.
I'm not getting rid of the CS artwork and banners etc.

The grid lagging has nothing to do with images. That's something I'll be working on also.
The inventory page will take a little longer to load, yes, but not the grid. As I said though, I'll add an option to hide major images while mobile.

I'm adding dozens more models before the end of this week.
