Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
She tells me she didn't mess with my stuff. I suppose it's true, yet it's untrue, isn't it? I was missing a big section of my wall, along with the works of art that went on the wall. While she managed that task by using me, I ultimately destroyed my 'stuff.' My feet hit the ground, I make sure good and hard, so it scuffs the light colored flooring and leaves a scuff. Why? Because I can.
She tells me I have boundary issues and I crack a grin at that. She has no idea. I shrug as she leaves for the mysterious room, and raise my feet once again. She returns with a shirt that has me cocking the side of my head. I read it again to make sure what I initially read, is exactly what I read. I look at Dominique's face, then at her chest (which probably looks like I'm staring at her chest to most people) and then at her face again.
Her words fall on deaf ears, as I sit up. It probably looks like I'm getting ready to get up and make my way out on my own free will, but I'm not. “Your shirt is a fabrication, unless I missed something.” My eyes drop to her groin region, though I'm aware she's a woman. Unless she had a surgery to alter her original state. The eyes move back up to her face. “Oh. Did you want to sit?” I scoot over, just a little and replace my boots once again on her table. "Take a seat, lite bright." I pat the seat, right where I was once sitting, eyes moving to her shirt.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
Dominique eyes the spot Ric pats as if it was his sofa he was offering up. “My shirt is perfectly fine.” Her fingers pluck at the material across her chest now that she thinks about it. She has so many tanks with messages she isn’t even sure which one she slid on. Not that it matters. But she is curious enough as to what he is referring to that she glances down anyways. “Oh.” All she had to say about it. There was a few more important things that needed to be dealt with than the shirt. She wasn’t even sure it was hers. It could have been left behind by whoever over the last few years. “Name is Dominique. Dom if you are feeling special. Not lite bright. Keep it up and you will get another free flying lesson.”
Wasn’t he supposed to be leaving? Yes. He was. She eyes him staring at her shirt like the message will change just because he pointed it out. One thing was true in his statement though. He did miss something. Hell, he missed a lot. He planted *** on her sofa in her home...and she stared at him a little longer while giving that some thought. Wasn’t that what she did a couple nights back? It was. This was getting to be annoying.
“Five minutes. I got five minutes to give you then you can borrow Vader’s Superman cape because you will need it.” She dropped to the sofa and sized him up while she did. There was no question she could handle the job again. The clothing he had on would actually be more of an advantage to her. How long would it take to replace a Ric size hole in her wall? It wouldn’t be too long. Probably longer than the five minutes he now had to spend having her attention."Clock is ticking."

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
Five minutes she says. I cringe at the time she seems to think I have. It's an odd number. I hate odd numbers. There's something unnatural about them. “I know..” I tell her, after having counted to forty silently. I wonder if she finds the silence between us uncomfortable. If she did, it would only make my night. “What your name is.” I continue, shifting my weight on her couch. “But since you don't feel obliged to use mine, I'm returning the favor. I'm good at that.” I sit back in the couch once another twenty seconds and my speech passes and **** my head to an angle where I can look at her. My words obviously had two intended meanings; the most obvious being her lack of using her name and me being in her home.
“Also, I would suggest you not threatening me again. Even if it is to remove me from your premises.” It's not that I don't believe she won't do it, as in it being an empty threat, it's just that I won't allow her to get very far in that threat. I shrug my shoulders and stare at the text on her shirt again. “Take it off.” I tell her, before going on. “I don't like or appreciate false misrepresentations and since you are lacking a beard...” I think by now the few things I've stated have left me with a supposed two minute counter, but I'm not worried about it. I don't even glance at the time on the surface of the wall or on the entertainment system in front of us. I look at no where but her, indicating that I didn't give a **** about this imaginary counter she placed on me. “You're...safe. I won't touch you. What you possess doesn't really get my rocks off. And no. I'm not in to dicks either.” I clarify, because I can imagine someone like her going from one end to the other in a few seconds. Especially after her dick quip two nights ago.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
"I don't threaten, Ric." Her voice and tone left no question while she sat there that she would back up whatever check her mouth writes. "And I won't be taking off this shirt that I have on. If you don't like it then you do something about it. You have some time left." Her chocolate eyes were more than set on him. They were like daggers pointing at him waiting to see what he was going to do. "Tick tock, Ric."
While the second hand moved on a clock she didn't bother to look at she waited. She was patient. She was not however going to take off a shirt just because he couldn't get over the message on the front. Just like she wasn't pleased with the scuff mark on her floor. It would be like her telling him to remove his boots.
"While giving it the last amount of time you have left take off your shoes. Again not a threat. It is an expectation." It certainly was.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
I'm half listening to her, half counting. What I hear predominately is my name from her mouth. It seems Dominique could use that off pink colored thing in that skull of her. Surprise, surprise. She tells me she's not going to take off her shirt and almost dares me to remove it.
“I have just over two minutes left, according to my clock. It would take me that long to remove my boots. Unless that's you're subtle way of telling me you want me to stay.” I shrug my shoulders, and glance down at my black boots, but make no move to lift them to me, or bend down to start unlacing them.
“I don't really care about your expectations, Dominique. I expected to come back to a fairly empty apartment, but there you were. I also expected you to give me the location of Foster, but you didn't. Quid pro quo, Dominique.” My eyes return to her as I continue to speak. “I recently learned this power...” A hand reaches out for Dominique's arm, the palm hot and sears her skin. I'm not exactly sure how this power works, but in theory, it seems like it would do what she suggested. With burning her skin, shouldn't her shirt and, well, maybe everything singe and burn right off too? Guess we'll find out.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
There was something to be said for Ric. He really seemed to dislike her shirt. She was pretty sure it wasn't even her shirt. It could have been any of a number of people. She didn't have a beard and she was glad. Ric had something close to one. Maybe that was it. He wanted the shirt. She was about to entertain the idea of offering it when he took her up on an offer she had all but forgotten that she made. One that he had was quick to prove was always an option.
As soon as his hand was on her arm she could literally smell her flesh flame broiled. Maybe flames were absent but the source of heat was without question. He might as well hit her with a blow torch up close and personal. She hissed in pain and tugged her arm away so it recoiled closer than ever to her body. Without a lot of effort she narrowed her eyes and hoped his next move was missed. She cursed him without having to say it.
"Take off your boots."The blisters beneath her hand I her resolved quickly. Each healed with another power at her disposal. Now about those boots since he was handing out orders. Might as well see how good he was at taking them. "Now. Tic tic."

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
Dominique takes her arm back possessively, not that I blame her. I was expecting a little more bang for my buck, but lesson learned. Figure out what powers are actually capable of before trying to use them offensively. I almost tell her to make me, much like she told me a few seconds ago, but I don't. Instead, I figure I'll humor Dominique, and make her think she has the upper hand until I'm good and ready. "That fizzled fast."
I shrug my shoulders and nod my head, as a strange sensation comes over me. It's nothing physically felt, just something internally. Like maybe I should move rethink my course of plan or at least move more slowly, but I don't. I raise my foot, quicker than I thought it would come up and the foot of my boot slams into her coffee table, breaking the glass on the top of the black iron structure. “That wasn't planned.” I tell her, after shaking my head to combat this odd feeling that ran over me for a brief couple of seconds. “Help a guy out?” I turn, almost rolling off the couch, but manage to shoot an arm out to the iron table base to keep me from falling off the couch as my booted feet find a home in her lap. “Since you're dying to keep me here.” I add in, getting comfortable on a decorative pillow. “Don't be too mad. It's not like I threw you through the wall. Just a little tit for tat.” My eyes move to Dominique's arm covered in the multitude of colors, before I shake my head and look away. “You're really one of Doc's?” I ask in a tone that doesn't indicate my surprise, but I ask to try and understand Doc's preference in siring, if there was one. Not that I've met many of them face to face. Which was probably a blessing in disguise if most of them were like Dominique.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
The sound of glass breaking was all she could hear. Her table. She looked down as he maneuvered his body and positioned himself to drop legs into her lap. As soon as the weight of them settled he went on and finished his request to help a guy out with a question as to if she really was one of Doc's. What in the hell was that supposed to mean?
Shattered glass, burn and even insults to injury. In her own home no less. His time was up. So was her tolerance for her sire's favorite brother in law. With that in mind HOPE and LESS took a no holds barred fix on his clothing on the top leg and at his collar and aimed him for the only window with the hopes he was going to be airborne when she gave him a departing message.
"I will help you with your boots right outside!" She growled effectively to convey her intent. The only problem was he failed to take flight. This was a huge fail on many levels. Was he Kryptonite to to her super powers? It was not exactly the result she expected.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
It seems I ruffled some feathers by breaking her table. She grabs me, in a rough manner and attempts to throw me off the couch, but I've learned a thing or two since our last encounter. She liked to manhandle me, and I wasn't going to allow that to happen so easily. So I grab the couch cushion with one hand, and the frame with the other and apply some of my weight backwards, to keep me on the couch. And it seems to work.
“Was that a threat?” I ask, shaking my head before I knocked her hands off my clothes. “Look, I'm not getting rid of any clothes any faster than you are, so try and contain yourself.” I fish in my pockets for my cigarette and lighter, place one between my lips and light it before I put it back. “Since you're so eager to get rid of me...let me help you out.” I place a hand on her shoulder in an attempt to teleport her right outside of her home, but nothing happens.
“Well, this could be a little strange.” I move my foot to slam it against her back, and try to kick her off the thing, but I instead go rolling off the couch and land on my back, looking right up at the ceiling. Tonight just wasn't my night. Like the other time I ran into her. I'm starting to notice a pattern. “You suck.” Yep, I said something that I actually don't think I've ever said to anyone given it sounded like something a child on a playground would say, and I have more intelligence than that. “Fine.” I stand up after growling and hold both hands up. “I got who I was after anyways, this was just icing on the cake.” I step back, intentionally crunching over glass that was broken from the coffee table a couple seconds ago. “See you around, Captain Beard.” I give her a one finger salute, with the middle one and then look around for the way I came out, before heading to the false wall to find my way out.

Re: Turnabout is fair play (BB)
Anything that was supposed to work didn't and everything that wasn't supposed to came back to bite them. It made no sense. She tossed several out the window. Maybe this was why she didn't go for a weapon. If she did what were the chances it could turn against her. Besides it wasn't like she wanted to bust him apart. Give him a little pain, yes. A good dose of 'damn-I-shouldn't-done that' pain. A little something to say she had been there throbbing and reminding him she didn't take **** from him or anyone else. So far Lady Luck it would seem was kicking her *** every time she tried to kick him and vice versa.
The shadow watched him pull his body from the floor. After the one finger salute was paid her direction she closed one eye as he called her Captain Beard. Well about time he figured out who was sailing the Good Ship Lollipop that they were sitting on. She returned the first show of respect a mirrored middle finger salute. Hopefully he would find it a painful walk through the back corridors and stairwells.
As soon as he was gone HOPE and LESS tugged the tank off and balled it up just right in her hands as she ranted under her breath. With a force that the major leagues would love to discover she sent the shirt flying against the bathroom door.
