Having been spotted, hearing Shadis' barely uttered whisper of his name, Trahir lowers the newspaper. It had been much simpler a thing to stalk his prey before his continued growth. He had always been a larger man, muscled. He must have been a gym-rat back when he was mortal. Now though he was more of a wrestler's or power lifter's build. Even his height had been increasing. He'd added four inches to it since his turning. It seemed to him as his emotions faded and his powers manifested, his size grew and his mind fractured more and more. He wondered if one day he would be too large and insane to interact with any mortal at all.
To his hyper-perception enhanced vision, her lips form his name in slow motion. Those lips, soft, plush pillows that have caressed his body, lips that have parted in soft moans and agonized screams in the macabre darkness within his crypt open. He can see her tongue move in her mouth, the faint tinge of color from the blood of her victim still staining it almost imperceptibly. Hearing that one word, Vienna turns too. She moves in almost slow motion, every strand of hair moving in a slow wave as her head turns toward him, bringing her eyes into view.
One set of eyes, dark pools that smoldered with desire, the other showed terror. There was only one heartbeat between them and it seemed to be racing enough for both of the women's emotions.
The vampire sets the newspaper down on the bench, a useless prop as it had turned out, and rises to his feet. He waits on a pair of passing cars and heads across the street toward the two, toward Lancasters. He stops on the sidewalk before the two, his pale gaze travelling first up and down Shadis, a tension building between the two as he trails his gaze over her. His face shows nothing of course of what he thinks. One arm extends, an invitation for her to come to him. "My love..."
The same stony face turns to Vienna. He looks her up and down just as slowly. "Miss Torres, it is a pleasant surprise to find out here. Stopping by for a bite?"

Shadis simply watched as Trahir eyes appeared over the newspaper before he placed it down and rose to stand. It seemed like everything he did was done in slow motion and she wanted nothing more than to reach out to him. However, after he had crossed, he simply stood there for a moment, his gaze travelling up and down her form before he held an arm out to her. It was an invitation that she recognised and she let go of the door while her feet moved towards him. As she reached him, she lifted a hand to lightly place it upon the man’s chest while another moved around his form. The vampress drew in his scent, one that she had basically memorised and would recognise anywhere. A soft sigh of content found its way to her lips then as her form visibly relaxed against Trahir’s own. Whatever it was, whatever thoughts that she had been thinking, didn’t exactly seem important anymore.
For some reason or another, she always enjoyed Trahir’s presence no matter if he was commanding her, or simply giving an invitation to refuse. However, his invitations, were something that she had a feeling, wasn’t exactly something to refuse regardless. After she listened to Trahir speak and his words rumbled deep within his chest, her gaze lifted to view Vienna once more, her brown hues observing the woman. It was at this point that she reflected back upon the human’s words and wondered about whether the girl actually liked her, or whether she simply just put up with her for Trahir’s sake. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that it had happened. Shadis had heard when Vienna had gritted her teeth, it was hard not to notice the sound when it came from right next to you, did she irk the girl? Did she consider Shadis to be insane?
While those questions were presented, she closed her eyes and simply let them go. Why did it matter as to whether the girl like her? She had Elena, Trahir and Lancaster. The only three that should really matter at this point. ”I’m glad to see you Trahir. If I had known that you wanted to come, you should have said something.” The fledgling said as she lifted her gaze to view the man with a silent thought, had he been following her the whole time? Rarely in a hunt did she notice everyone around her, as it was a habit to focus solely on her prey. Her gaze shifted back to the human then, as she wondered if answering her questions was a priority now. Simply because, Vienna’s heart raced like a little rabbit’s would when they felt fear. A reaction that was not uncommon among the human world whenever they spied Trahir.
”Lancaster’s doesn’t exactly sell food, that I know of. I don’t exactly eat there, as I usually just have a drink.” Which was basically a double edged answer. The fledgling drank the alcohol and also drank the blood of humans, her prey. ”We were just going to go in for a drink, as I have already eaten. Care to join us?” She asked Trahir as her gaze lifted to view the man’s face once more. Although he couldn’t drink, he could always pretend right? Or, she was willing to fill a glass from her very own vein if she had to. The option was there, she had given it to him and he knew that she was always willing to give him her own blood if he desired it. Finally, her brown gaze settled back upon Vienna before she decided to give the woman an answer to an earlier question. ”You and I had a drink, while one of your friends bit another one of your friends. Then, I bit you.”

She couldn't read Trahir's expression at all. Was he amused, was he angry, was he considering whether to tear her from limb to limb? But his look made her skin crawl.
One thing was for certain, it wasn't the sort of look you gave someone you viewed as an actual person. He took his time about it, his eyes lingering on her without making any pretense of hiding it.
Anger flared through her. Without looking away from him, she reached into her center and concentrated upon her chi. Her focus was broken, and it took her a moment to find her equilibrium - but then power flowed through her, soothing and strengthening at the same time.
Shadis answered the question before she had to, sparing her the need of replying.
"Nice," she said to Shadis. She shook her head. "At least I got a drink out of it."
She glanced at Trahir, waiting for his answer to Shadis's question to join them. Maybe he'd say no and Shadis would head off into the darkness with him, and she'd be rid of both of them - for at least a time.
She doubted it, though.

Trahir gives a small smile to Shadis at the invitation. "Thank you love, but this evening I have another matter to attend. I'm sure Miss Vienna would be... grateful... for the company however." He looks over to Vienna once more. She seems to be concentrating... yes. She's doing something. His smile widens slightly. "You've started your training haven't you?" The slight widening of his grin that doesn't quite reach his eyes is as close to looking giddy that the Killer is capable of.
Oh, he is most pleased with this development. Most pleased. He reaches back into his pocket, pulling out his wallet and hands Shadis a credit card. "Please, ladies. Enjoy your evening. Perhaps I will swing back by. Tonight is on me. Get yourselves something nice after you've... dined."
He leans in and gives Shadis a kiss, soft, almost tender. He can taste the blood of the mortal in the kiss. It stirs his own appetite and he glances to Vienna as he straightens back up, drawing himself up to his full height once more.
"Vienna, please give me a call tomorrow evening. I'd like to meet up with you then."
