Killing or crippling Bjorn isn't likely to see a drastic drop in the city alert, no. He's been sitting on 17/16 violations since it was yellow, and it's been increasing rapidly for days.

Oh. For some reason I thought that if you bit a human in a security 1, it was an automatic success (unless they've got that relic). Sorry!

If memory serves, it's based on the number of violations, partly. I could be remember wrong though.

I know I can speak from experience that even when people with a large number of violations were killed it didn't drop the alert by all that much. The last I was informed it was essentially a
"Person X can drive the alert up by Y amount but the secrecy meter only drops by a static a
amount when a violator is killed."
At least this was the reasoning given by the community as to why Ty shouldn't hunt as much and why Ty resorted to only hunting those with 2+ violations.
ETA: And now with the alert so high I suppose it gives people a reason to involve themselves in secrecy impact threads in order to try and get the alert back down seeing as how PVP isn't a viable way to keep the alert low given that there are just too many people on the list and success in hunting is no longer a guaranteed thing.
