Shadis’s brown hues watched Trahir and noted the way his own gaze trailed along her form. It made a shiver slither down her spine, especially with the openly way that he did so. The woman especially paid attention to the way his gaze paused at her neck. Did he want to bite her? She lifted her free hand to draw her hair over one shoulder so then the left side of her neck was exposed. It was a simple test but one that she was interested in. Why? Because it interested her in the taboo action itself. Elliot had told her that it was frowned upon, but if both parties were willing, was it really all that bad? The woman lifted the scotch to her lips then and took a sip of the liquid. It burned all the way down, but thankfully, she wasn’t about to throw it up this time. However, one sip was all that she was able to manage and gently she sat the drink back down upon the bar.

She angled her head to the right as she listened to his comment and a smirk caressed her lips. The woman angled her head downwards before she looked up at the man who called himself Trahir from underneath her eye lashes. ”Good sir, don’t play with me. Once I get my claws hooked in, you’ll find that it’s very hard to shake the likes of me.” Her tongue darted out to slowly lick her lips then as she watched him and angled her head slowly to the side as he asked just as to how she would do it. A hum rose up as if she was pretending to think, but there was nothing to think about. Absolutely nothing. The woman didn’t have a killer bone in her body, so she wouldn’t have a clue as to how she would kill the little human hunter. However, she would injure someone gravely if she thought that they deserved it. A man by the name of Ric had reached that list and she had yet to return the favour of blood being spilled. She still remembered the shadow that had pierced her chest and just missed her heart.

The woman shifted then from her position by the bar and weaved her way passed a couple of patrons until she reached the man. Her brown hues looked up at him while she gently lifted her hands to press into his chest. Trahir had… Qualities that drew her in and right at this precise moment in time, she wasn’t exactly sure just as to what they were. Perhaps it was his manner of tone that attracted her. Slowly, she rose onto her toes while using his chest as a support so then her own scent could surround him. Gently, she pressed a simple kiss to his cheek. ”I think, that you and I both know that I don’t have a bone in my body that could do such a task required unless it was self-defence.” She whispered so softly that only the pair of them could hear her words. It was deliberate due to the fact that they had entered a much more crowded area.

Another smirk rose to her lips then as she softly chuckled. And should he continue to allow such movements from her, she trailed her cheek along his own until her lips reached his ear. The woman wanted him to be swamped in her scent, because she really wanted to know if he really wanted a bite. Another whisper caressed his ear lobe, ”Although I don’t appear like most vampires do in mirrors and so far have not had a problem with hunters. However…” She paused then to licked her lips. ”If I ever needed it, would you help me with such a predicament?” The woman pulled back slightly then so then her brown hues could peer up into his pools of blue.

Trahir had money. He had a steady supply of blood if need be, he just preferred the hunt. The panic in the eyes of prey being stalked methodically by a force they have no chance against. He admired those who, in the end, chose to openly stand their ground and fight. To go down in single combat against the predator. He had felt that when hunting other vampires with Tytonidae, but it paled in comparison to the rewards human prey offered. Blood for one, that essential fluid that allowed a vampire to transcend the former binds of mortality, remains, one of Trahir’s darker secrets known to those he has had dealings with only because they were considered family.

Now this woman asks him to play the part of a simple exterminator for her problems? “Of course I would help you. Maybe one night you will be able to do something for me in exchange. I consider it playing for the future yes? “

The blood-scent arising from her stops him from immediately drawing another breath to speak. Thoughts of blood, hunting, feeding fill his head, clouding his thoughts. He needed to restrain himself when it came to Kindred blood, vitae. Too often, too much and he would become one of those he loathed. Those predators who would set themselves above him and the rest of their kind. So, distracted by the aberrant urge to do what he himself would forbid he absent-mindedly utters “Lose that word for what we are from your vocabulary. All it takes is one of those with their own… advantages to hear you no matter how careful you are.”

Too many words, he’s out of air. He inhales to speak again, his body naturally reacting to hers, keeping his body close to hers and then leaning in toward her throat.

“Shall I sent you pictures to answer your first question?” His breath is cool in her ear, an autumn breeze, his fangs slip down behind his lips and he closes his eyes. He inhales the scent of her flesh one more time, not merely to scent her blood, but to commit it to memory. One could never tell when it would be a good idea to find someone quickly. As he straightens, casually bringing up a pair of shades to cover the eyes he knew were no longer those of a human’s, he gives her a close lipped smile and raises his hand as if coughing into it. “I must go for the moment. I have some other matters to attend."

Shadis felt a shiver travel down her spine once more as she felt his breath caress the bare skin of her neck. A hand rose to slide along his shoulder before it went to lace around his neck, her fingers however, gently tugged at the silky black locks. The woman could stand there for hours in just that simple embrace, for it was the first time that she had actually felt a flutter of something. She didn’t know just as to what was going on between the two, but she was more than curious to find out. ”I’m not exactly sure that it was a question per se.” Danger lurked in every fibre of this being before her and she had heard such danger in his voice when he had uttered words for her to lose the word ‘vampire’ from her vocabulary. In its own way, it had sounded like a command from him.

However, she realized then that as he pulled away, that he very much did want to bite her, especially if the way he held up a hand to cover a mouth with fangs when he spoke was anything to go by. A knowing smirk caressed her lips as her arms fell to her side then and she leaned back. ”Before you leave…” The woman slipped away from him and back over to the bar where she flagged down the same bartender from before. ”Paper and pen please.” Silently, the man handed over the items and she wrote a simple number down upon the corner of the pad that had been handed to her. She tore the corner of the page off once she was done and slipped back over to Trahir. Shadis leaned forwards again, but this time she lifted a hand to lightly press to the hand that had been held in front of his mouth. Should he allow it, she stood upon her toes and press a light kiss to the lips that hid the fangs behind them.

”My number, for the images.” She said softly after she had pulled back a fraction. Her hand slipped the folded piece of paper into the pocket of his coat then, but her brown hues didn’t pull away from his eyes that were hiding behind a pair of shades. Suddenly, she remembered that Elliot had confessed to biting Pi, another vampire. However, she wondered just as to what it would feel like to actually be bit, to feel fangs sinking into one’s own vein? The location didn’t matter to her, she just wondered what it would feel like. Would it feel like a needle piercing the skin? Or would it feel like a dagger slicing through the skin to get where they needed to go? She had thought about it before, but she never killed any of those that she fed from and they were always dazed after she had fed.

Another smirk caressed her lips then as she angled her head towards the door, ”Don’t leave me hanging, or I’ll chase you down.” Slowly, she leaned back so then she was no longer touching the man altogether. The woman wouldn’t really chase him down, mostly because she didn’t feel the need. They both lived in the same city and were bound at one point or another, to run into each other once again. She glanced over the man’s form once more before she lightly touched his hand once more and brushed passed him to return back to the bar. The bartender appeared once more and she forced a smile to her lips. ”A bottle of scotch.” This was so then she could take it back to her room. Shadis planned on throwing up her guts a few more times, because practice makes perfect and she still had yet to work on being ‘normal’ in the eyes of the humans.
