Elizabeth had been so excited that when Alexandrea asked her where the event was, she actually had no idea. Knowing Alexandrea would be here when she could, Elizabeth went in pursuit of finding the invitation that she placed somewhere in the bedroom.
She first looked on all the dresser tops, but alas, came up with nothing. From there, she rummaged through the vanity, and again, found nothing. The most logical choice from there was the closet, being she spend so much time within it finding both the perfect dress and the shoes-to again come up with nothing!
"Drat." Elizabeth chided herself quietly as the woman was now on her hands and knees, searching the floor, and under the bed for the brilliant invitation that was passed on to her by one of the most amusing individuals she has come to know so far. Though, with the spaces in her memories-there could be others she knew that were just as amusing, yet, knew them not at the same time.
And right when the woman thought that she saw the invitation, right by a box of shoes that were hidden (why, she knew not yet), it was snatched right up by one of the three demi-fae creatures that made both her life and Shamus' life a living hell. One evening the pair would have to find a way to appease the small, nasty little creatures that have ripped apart rooms without a second thought. "Give that right back, right this instant!" Elizabeth said with a raised finger, as if she were scolding a child, before rising to her knees and then to her feet. Perhaps it would be intimidated by her height; which was small by the average person's standards, but to a demi-fae, at least this one, Elizabeth towered over it when they were both on their feet.
The little snarling creature looked at her and snapped its jaw, then took the stock card invitation and more or less waved it at her, teasing Elizabeth. Before it progressed to devouring it and spitting chunks of it out once it realized it wasn't something to be eaten. "Oh, you little beast!" Elizabeth's eyes narrowed before she lunged at the creature, trying to salvage what she could of the invitation. However, the monster took off running, in the opposite direction and right past her. Until a hand shot out and grazed the tiny fae-beast and it vanished from sight. A temporary solution, but one that appeased the Telepath anyways. "I do hope the water is not too cold this time of year." The blonde vampiress chuckled as she searched the room for the invitation she had hoped it dropped. But hadn't.
With a heavy sigh, Elizabeth left the bedroom and headed out of the penthouse, to the elevator she would call and take to the roof. Once there, the woman waited for Alexandrea. When she arrived, Elizabeth simply beamed at the woman's beauty and opened her arms to embrace the woman. "You look simply lovely!" The woman spoke after she broke the hug, bright blue eyes on her. "There was a small mishap with the invitation..." The woman admitted, a frown sprawling on her lip line, as her eyes lost some of the radiance.
